Very, very great house, not quite new and therefore some signs of old age, but nothing engrossing. Very well equiped kitchen. The owner Ana was personally on site when we arrived. She had bought a lot of fresh food and cooked a very good soup on our arrival in the evening. Ana is a wonderful host, we felt immediately welcome. She showed us all the things we needed to know in the house. Since it was relatively cool and windy in the Azores during our stay, we particularly appreciated the fireplace in the house. There was also plenty of wood. The place Mosteiros is very nice and the surf in the cliffs right in front of the house is exceptional and can be seen from the couch. A very good local restaurant with excellent fish offer is in walking distance.

Amaaaazing place! The house is huge, fully equipped with everything you may need and more! The views are one of a kind: mountains, ocean, green everywhere. Wake up to the sound of birds, beautiful evenings watching the sunset. Couldn’t have found a better place to stay. Communication was on point, friendly and fast. Everything exceeded our expectation. Best value for money in all Azores.

We had an amazing stay! The apartment is spacious (which was great for our little daughter) und bright. It had everything that we needed (even a chair for our daughter) and we felt welcomed from the first moment. We really liked the way it was decorated. The location is ideal for exploring the whole island and the next supermarket and restaurant is right around the corner. Thank you Teresa for your fast answers and your help! We will definitly recommend your place.

Roberto's apartment was amazing, very large and spacious, and the courtyard was also very large and private. We especially liked the large kitchen that was equipped with everything you need for cooking. Roberto answered questions super fast. There was a large parking lot about 100 meters from the house where you could park. The area was quiet and the apartment is right next to one of the beautiful traditional churches. At check-in we had no problems, only the lock on the door was a little hard to get, but with a little force and shaking it worked. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely recommend the apartment ☺️

Lovely layout, suited our needs well. Easy walk to the trail along the ocean and very close to restaurants and bars. We loved the local flavour of the neighbourhood. A short drive/bus to Ponta Delgada. 15-20 to many adventure spots. We would highly recommend this place.

The place was lovely. It looked exactly like the photos and was very large and modern. There was everything we needed. We especially liked that everything is air-conditioned, a washing machine is available and the water warms up quickly. César was easy to reach, thanks for everything!

João's place was a great home base for our Azores adventure. It's a nice central location on the island, and a beautiful house and area. The whole place was spotless and the kitchen was great for making breakfast and coffee. There is a small grocery store within walking distance, but otherwise a car is required for the area so thankfully parking was very easy. Highly recommended!

Very spacious villa with breathtaking ocean views, we had a great vacation for 6, the beds are very comfortable, we will gladly come back. For those who are sensitive to daylight, don't forget to take a night mask because for now the curtains are not very blackout. Thank you to Mauro and Ana for the accommodation and communication during the stay.

A perfect space for two couples to enjoy a comfortable space and a good central location on the island to experience and explore. We enjoyed relaxed evenings in the hot tub! Joao was a lovely and responsive host and went the extra mile for us to be comfortable.

Traveling as a family of 5 and our stay could not have been more perfect! Definitely one of our favorite Airbnbs. We loved the location, felt safe, private yet easily accessible to everything- perfect spot on the island to explore- rental car a must. Lagoa is a cute little town with great nearby restaurants and cafes. The beds were very comfortable, spacious layout, great washer/ dryer and we felt like we were staying in a mini castle! It’s hard to describe the beauty of the views from the terraces but drinking tea in the morning and sitting outside was the best way to start each day and a feeling I hope stays with me. Maria left delicious treats that were very much appreciated on arrival. We will think back fondly on our trip to Sao Miguel and are grateful we had the opportunity to stay here! We will never forget it and hope to return one day!

Great place location was easy to get everywhere

very nice location to visit the island. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. Carlos was super welcoming, very responsive and provided us with good tips for our stay.

Accomodation for 8 people have been good.

Excellent house for our extended family group of 8. The pool is not heated so it’s a bit cold, but the backyard is very peaceful and the house is well equipped and a great home base to explore the island. It’s right outside Ponta Delgada and easy to pop into town. Highly recommend.

Pedro and his family are super hosts. The home was fantastic and everything was just perfect. A fantastic stay enjoyed by all 8 of us.

Great location and a beautiful home. It did have more stairs than we anticipated but was not an issue as two bedrooms are on the entry floor and other three on a level down. Living, dining and kitchen are on the lower third level. The pool did need to be cleaned. The Polaris stopped working before it cleaned the pool but was not of consequence since the weather was still too cool really for swimming. Be aware the hot tub is an inflatable and you’d really only have space for two but it’s on a great deck with nice view to the ocean. There were no restaurants really in walking distance but they are a short drive away and there are many great ones down by the water with beautiful settings. It was very nice to have clothes detergent and dryer sheets in the laundry area. We really appreciated that.

We (6 adults, 2 teenagers, a toddler and a baby) had a great time at Paula's place. It has everything you would want and more. It is in a great location, surrounded by magnificent views. Thank you again for welcoming us!

The host Cristina was great. Very responsive to questions and requests. The house was amazing. Lots of room, great pool. I would recommend booking the house if you are going to stay in Sao Miguel. A anfitriã Cristina foi ótima. Muito responsivo a perguntas e solicitações. A casa era incrível. Muito espaço, ótima piscina. Eu recomendaria reservar a casa se você for ficar em São Miguel.

What a beautiful place to stay. Great location for exploring the rest of the island. We really appreciated the welcome basket, the comfy beds and the great shower Just a few minutes walk from the ocean. I was the only one in our group who was brave enough to get into the pool (not heated) but we were there during a cloudy time. that was not super warm. it would be totally refreshing in the summer!

This was an amazing place to stay. Incredible views and a great base to explore the west part of the island from. Just need to watch the hot water with the solar. We ran out over a couple of cloudy days. Will definitely be back. Carlos was responsive and helpful

Carlos’s place was as described. It was very clean and had all the necessities. Carlos was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions I had. It was fairly easy to locate his family home with GPS. It was approximately 1 hour from Ponta Delgada. The little town was quaint and authentic. I would love to visit again.

A great place to stay while exploring the eastern side of Sao Miguel.
