Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Vila do Bispo

We always communicated with Lir, who was always wonderful! The house was great and has a lot of potential: is spacious and isolated so that you do not hear any noise. The outside area is very pretty but could use some landscaping or at least have some outside furniture or arranged area so that we could actually enjoy it and sit outside. As much as the varanda is super nice, outside is nicer :-). But overall it was great! If you are afraid of heights/cliffs, be aware that the dirt road that takes you to the house is a bit hedgy...

Michael’s place is absolutely beautiful a true little paradise. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and at home. The house is not only tastefully decorated but also incredibly comfortable and welcoming. It had everything we needed for a restful and enjoyable stay. Our little boy was especially thrilled with the swimming pool he spent hours splashing about and having fun, which made our stay even more memorable. The atmosphere was peaceful, homely, and full of charm. We genuinely loved our time here and would happily return. Highly recommended.

Estivemos na última semana de Agosto e tivemos uma excelente experiência. A todos os níveis. Casa com excelentes condições para receber um grupo de 12 pessoas. Fomos quatro casais e a casa proporcionou momentos de convívio entre todos e, ao mesmo tempo, espaços reservados para momentos mais introspectivos. Crianças divertiram-se imenso, seja nos espaços exteriores, seja no interior a jogar jogos. Piscina com excelentes condições. Os quartos são muito amplos. Cozinha totalmente equipada e com muito espaço. A circunstância da casa estar a 5/10 minutos de carro do centro de Lagos, permite ter o sossego desejado. A Meredith e a Louise foram inexcedíveis. Sempre disponíveis e com pronta resposta a todas as dúvidas e pedidos que fomos apresentando. Sem dúvida, uma experiência a repetir no futuro.

My kids (6 and 10) loved this place, and I think they took advantage of everything they had to offer - trampoline, mini golf, tennis court, swimming pool, hot tub, and even corn hole. It was a very pretty place and on a huge property, overlooking the ocean. You can walk down to the ocean easily, but the beach is about twenty minutes. However, Luz had easy parking facilities and the host provided all that we needed for a great day at the beach - towels, umbrella, chairs, and buckets. There is even an outdoor shower to clean off the sand.

Cris was an outstanding host. made us feel right at home. the location was perfect! would highly recommend this location!

We really enjoyed our week at this little bungalow. It felt like a real home with lots of little touches that it made us feel relaxed and comfortable. It’s within easy walking distance of all the restaurants and shops of the old town. It’s right in front of a very busy car park but once inside we didn’t really notice it. The roof terrace is lovely and very well set out with well furnished areas for lounging, eating and sitting. Be aware, though, that during school term time it is very noisy with the sound of kids playing in the grounds of the school next door. It didn’t bother us much but it is loud. It’s also a bit overlooked. Overall we had a lovely time and felt very at home here. Claire and Lou met us on arrival and Claire was very responsive and helpful so check in and out was made easy.

Wir haben eine tolle Zeit verbracht. Es war ruhig und unheimlich erholsam. Wir konnten draußen frühstücken und ebenfalls den Abend verbringen. In der Küche war alles vorhanden, was man ggf. für die Zubereitung eines Essens benötigt. Die Badezimmer waren sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden sicherlich wieder kommen, sofern keine Baumaßnahmen stattfinden. Die beiden Hunde waren nette Begleiter, haben uns morgens und abends freudig begrüßt und haben uns eine schöne Zeit geschenkt. Toll war es ebenfalls, dass wir immer sauberes und frisches Wasser aus dem eigenen Bohrloch nutzen konnten, zum trinken, zum duschen oder auch um uns abends nochmals im runden "Pool" ein wenig zu erfrischen.

Lovely place and Victor was such a kind host. Perfectly situated with parking right beside the apartment but also in the centre of town. Super clean and big apartment. Loved our stay here.

Loved our stay at Claudia’s apartment. The area was super clean and exactly as seen in the photos. The area is in a great location right at the centre of all the action but up a very clam side street meaning we had no noise issues at night. Would highly recommended this apartment. We also organised a transfer through Claudia which was so handy!

What can I say?! The pictures and description of the apartment did not do it justice. The living accommodation is pristine. So much space for all of us, with every amenity you could ask for. It was a perfect base for our time in Lagos. The pool area was lovely and quiet and there were plenty of sunbeds available. We spent a lot of time here during our stay and it was very relaxing. From a location perspective, the apartment again was perfect. Beaches, shops, restaurants & bars are all within easy walking distance. Would not hesitate to book again.

Het huis is comfortabel, prima ingericht op een groot en mooi terrein. De gastvrouw en-heer zijn uitermate vriendelijk, ze zijn aanwezig voor contact, en tegelijkertijd is er alle privacy. Ik heb een fijne tijd gehad (2 maanden). Het enige minpunt voor mijzelf was het vaak aanwezige motoren geluid van de in de buurt liggende Autodrome.

Host and owner were wonderful ! I did change my stay BUT ** only because I was looking for something more upbeat and party vibe such as Albufeira. The apartment itself is good and has a lot of space, and everything you need as well as a full living room with a big TV. I am in my early 30s and this is my first time in the Algarve so I had mistakenly booked something I thought was more central. This is of no fault to the host or the owner - great communication and kindness on their end :) They are very understanding and flexible. The apartment is still probably 15-20 minutes walking from the city centre and 5 from the marina. Definitely a quieter stay if you want an escape from the touristy towns! Thank you again xx

Zuerst einmal zu Charo. Sie ist eine besorgte und sehr kommunikative Gastgeberin und sehr bemüht, dass alles nach der Zufriedenheit der Gäste läuft. Die Wohnung ist geräumig, es ist alles vorhanden und sie liegt total zentral. Carrapateira ist beschaulich und landschaftlich schön eingebettet. Falls wir noch einmal in dieser Gegend sind, werden wir sicherlich bei Charo anfragen. Wir können die Gesamtsituation auf allen Ebenen mit 5 Sternen bewerten. Lisa

Mooi appartement met alles er op en eraan: keuken met alle benodigdheden en meer, klein terras aan voorkant met ochtendzon. Groter terras achterkant met zon de rest van de dag maar wel half overdekt zodat de zon niet binnenschijnt. Zicht op zwembad en heuvels. Overal elektrische rolluiken en airco. Modern en rustige inrichting. Goede bedden. Werkelijk niks op aan te merken. Goed gedaan Carla 👌

The apartment is as beautiful as the pictures. A nice bottle of wine and a couple of Portuguese pastries were a wonderful touch. The walk into Lagos is short and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. one right downstairs from the unit. Highly recommend this to anyone heading to Lagos.
