Holiday rentals with beach access in Vila do Bispo

I've come to Sagres for 2-3 months every winter for the past 4 winters. I've noticed this building many times when I've visited Beliche, though never stayed. Now, I regret all those years I spent at other places... living in an apartment that has insane views over the cliffs is simply unbeatable. The apartment is spacious, super clean, and has everything you need to cook whatever you want at home. The shower consistently has hot water and good water pressure. Rita is such a pleasure to work with and she brought me fresh sheets and towels several times over my stay. From the apartment, you have access to the cliffs and all parts of the Fisherman's Trail between Sagres and Telheiro. I never got bored getting my daily steps in such a gorgeous landscape... all just right outside my door! I love this apartment so much... can't recommend it enough, and cannot wait to stay there again next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay and loved the apartment. The views are stunning and being positioned adjacent to a nature reserve ensures quietness and privacy. The balcony and roof top terrace are 5 star! The apartment is very well apointed and equipped allowing for meals etc to be easily prepared if one wants a break from the local resturants. I have to make special mention of the very comfortable wide beds - my wife and I have booked accomodation at many different rentals in Salema and our general experience has been particularly uncomfortable small beds. This is quite the opposite at Casa Alvorada. There are a few flights of stairs to climb to get to the apartment from the parking area which is not a problem at all and well worth it for the amazing views. If you are compromised in any way, this may be a challange but Robert John made us well aware of the stairs prior to booking and paying. Would love to stay at Casa Alvorada again, highly recommended!

The flat was lovely with both balcony’s having lovely views! Perfect and really near the stunning beach.

Having stayed locally many times we were thrilled to be based in the midst of it all in Salema. Emma’s place is fabulous. Huge balcony looking out over rooftops and the sea. We were so happy with the view and to hear the waves. Very peaceful. We will be returning to this apartment, we can’t imagine finding somewhere as good at such a reasonable price. Thank you Emma! We enjoyed our 5 day stay. The apt. was as advertised and Ray, the rental manager, was very responsive and gave a thorough orientation. The apt. was clean and well stocked. The neighborhood was quiet and the beach was very close. There is a well stocked market below the apt which was very convenient. The only negative was the elevator was inoperable during our entire stay. No one told us, and we had to carry our bags up and down two flights of stairs. I'd recommend this apt. if you are staying in or near Burgau.

Alberto gave us excellent advice. He was very courteous and humorous. He suggested several restaurants in the area. The ones we ate at were great. The place was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. Shops and restaurants are easily accessible on foot. The balcony was a bit small for three people.

Great place in Burgau with lots of toys for the kids and so easy to walk to restaurants and the beach. A very sweet spot!

We've had a wonderful stay at this beautiful little place , the location is amazing , 3 stunning beaches in easy walking distance & so many lovely places to eat . the property was super clean & in a quiet location & Camilla's communication was absolutely excellent & accommodating, we would definitely recommend this lovely little place to stay.

A calm, the feeling of being alone in the world. A very welcoming, clean, tidy house. Warm and caring welcome. A terrace with a magnificent and magical view! A gem!

Great stop here. Helena was communicative and we had a good stay. 3 floors, 2 kitchens and an outdoor bathroom/shower...what else do you need? Great location, a few steps from bar/restaurants, a few more steps to sand/chairs/umbrellas. Everything worked. Bed was fairly comfortable, one of the better beds on our Portugal Tour. We were ready to move in so thanks for the relaxing visit! Make sure you are ready for some stairs.

We spent 2 weeks at the house in Salema — and it was perfect !! From arrival to departure the stay was amazing. The house has everything you could need—- and was so comfortable!! The biggest challenge the first day or so was where to sit —- there are so many options! You can watch amazing sunrises and sunsets each day from the house and the village of Salema has everything you need for a perfect beach vacation dining experience Highly recommend this home, this can the the best beach vacation ever!

Heath could not have done more to make us feel at home. Just a really decent, genuine and interesting guy with a ton of experience in the local area. He is super helpful and more like a friend than a host. The cottage is beautiful, comfortable, peaceful and private. It is a great base to live from. There is a great little cafe over the road; then other shops, eateries and beaches are 5 to 10 minutes walk away. We really enjoyed our holiday; and felt secure knowing Heath was nearby if we needed any advice or assistance. Would recommend to anybody; either way we will definitely stay there again.

We really loved our stay in Figueira and will definitely be back! The place has everything you need for 1-2 people and the surrounding area is very beautiful. We would definitely recommend! Just make sure you have a small-ish car, the streets are very narrow (but that definitely adds to the charm).

Pedro's place is absolutely beautiful, with a grand vista of the ocean! It's clean and convenient and we loved it!

Just stayed a week at House Arez, and loved every aspect of it. The house has been modernised but retaining many original features, which only adds to the charm, so you feel you're staying in a very traditional home. Everything is clean, comfortable, and the roof terrace is the icing on the cake! The area is very quiet but close to everything Sagres has to offer, with many great local restaurants a short walk away. Tomas is super helpful and great to communicate with. Really hope to return some time in the future.

Beautiful, quaint and cute fisherman's cottage! Tastefully furnished, lovely and clean and very comfortable. We were expecting the bbq and terrace area to be accessible from the house and not down the road which was a bit misleading in the photos as it looks like it is an integral part of the house! We love Salema and the location to the beach was great!

We had an absolutely brilliant stay at this lovely apartment in Burgau! Everything about it was perfect for our family, especially with a toddler in tow. The apartment was beautifully clean, spacious, and thoughtfully set up with so many little touches that made travelling with a child so much easier. There were toys, books, beach gear, towels, a cot—everything we could possibly need and more. It really felt like a home away from home. Being on the ground floor with easy access and convenient parking right outside made coming and going stress-free, especially with our little one and beach bags! The location was ideal, just a short walk from the charming village and beach, and the apartment itself was quiet, well-equipped, and very comfortable. We’re so grateful to have found such a family-friendly gem and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommended!

This small delightful and tastefully decorated apartment was perfect for our purpose (wedding of relatives on the beach)! The apartment is furnished with a lot of love, everything is generously available! Pushpa always took care of us right away. We would book with her again in a heartbeat!!

Lovely little apartment right in the centre of this fabulous unspoilt village. Good restaurants all within 100m and a great wine bar with see views right outside. The apartment is quite compact, but enough space for four as long as you don’t want outside space. The tiny balcony was lovely for morning coffee in the sun as long as you are slim! We slept really well, listening to the sea that was 50m away. Only one word in of caution. The steps to the apartment are quite narrow, we did manage to get our bikes boxes up once empty but not easy.

We had a lovely week in Sagres. This was a great spot to explore lots of different beaches in and around the area. Mireia gave us some great restaurant recommendations. The pool area was lovely and quiet.

Rogelio’s place felt like home at the moment we entered. It’s only a short walking distance to beaches, restaurants and cafés. The beds were very comfortable and the entire apartment was brand new and very clean. The patio was large and we had everything we needed. Rogelio even had some beach toys for our son! Don’t hesitate and book this place for your trip to Sagres. We wish we would’ve stayed longer! Till next time!

We totally in love with Marie Therese’s apartment and the location it is in. Apartment was extremely spacious and absolutely immaculate. The views from the balcony were breathtaking. Marie Therese ensured we had absolutely everything we needed. Communication was excellent. We were both very saddened to leave such a gorgeous place and cannot wait to return. Would highly recommend as you will undoubtedly love it as much as we did.
