Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Vik

Amazing location and super friendly, proactive hosts! The house is decorated with respect for the traditional style. We were welcomed with fresh flowers in every room, fresh apple juice and fruit jam, all produced from around the house.

Lovely place to stay, well-equipped kitchen and very comfortable accommodation. The views are incredible and Bjørn and Sara were great hosts, very friendly and helpful. The only thing to be aware of is that access to the accommodation is up a very steep grassy slope with no real path or steps. If you have any kind of mobility issues this would not be a suitable place to stay. But if you can handle being a mountain goat for a short distance, this place is worth the effort!

Great place to stay. Views were absolutely amazing. Great host, provided clear instructions. Hot tub was an amazing touch, and scenery added a wonderful vibe. Location was beautiful and very convenient, close by town and access to ferry to get to Balestrand. 10/10.

The view is spectacular. It is in a really beautiful and quiet place. The host gave recommendations for us to what to see and where to hike. She also answered all of my questions quickly and gave clear instructions on local rules (we are not Norwegian so it was comforting). We got what we expected (and more) from the description.

Très bon endroit pour qui cherche la tranquillité et le repos. Cadre agréable et magnifique paysage. La maison est ancienne mais confortable. La communication avec nos hôtes était très bonne!

Authentisches altes Bauernhaus. Sehr geräumig, schöner Ofen, alles sehr sauber, ohne viel Schnickschnack. Die Lage war traumhaft zwischen Obstbäumen mit Blick auf den Fjord. Tor war sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wunderschönes, renoviertes altes Haus mit herrlichen Fjordblick und reichlich Platz. Wir könnten nur leider das Boot nicht nutzen, da es repariert werden müsste. Aber man hat wirklich seine Ruhe.

Vi har benyttet huset til Kjersti i forbindelse med jobb i Vik, og syntes stedet var helt perfekt. Supert sted med fantastisk utsikt over Sognefjorden. Alle fasiliteter. Husk å ta med sengetøy og handklær, eller en kan få dette med på kjøpet til en liten ekstrakostnad. Kommer gjerne igjen ☺️

We loved the property, which has a beautiful and peaceful setting at waterfront and is well equipped and very clean. The owner was very accommodating and helpful. Datcenter manages the property on behalf of the owners. We received the check-in instructions from Datcenter only after contacting Airbnb Support Centre, who chased Datcenter on our behalf. The order for bed linenen was not received by the owner. I recommend to read the house rules before booking, as there are extra charges such as deposit, fees for bed linen, electricity usage which are all payable in cash to the owner.

"Great location with a breathtaking view of the fjord. The availability of the boat with a fishing rod is really fantastic. Our neighbors caught some mackerel for their dinner; we weren't that lucky. Also worth mentioning is the apple juice sold by the owners, which is super delicious. In short, I highly recommend this Airbnb, which offers excellent value for money."

Had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Great communication from the host and a smooth check-in process. Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Victoria's apartment was wonderful. It's clean, well-maintained, and offers a terrific view of the Sognfjord. Victoria herself is a very good host, one of the best in my experience with AirBnB. She's conscientious, communicative and friendly.

Nice apartment - and relatively convenient location, provided you have a car. The entrance to the apartment was very temporary because of works outside the house - and the door had to be lifted in place as a workman had not arrived earlier in the day. This caused some inconvenience. The owner was very apologetic about this, though, and we had great communication.

Eine tolle Unterkunft in der nichts fehlt! Die Ausstattung war super. Sehr sauber und gut riechend. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Über die Einladung zum Abendessen haben wir uns sehr gefreut 😊. Es hat wunderbar geschmeckt. Herzlichen Dank und liebe Grüße 🤗

J'avais lu des commentaires qui disaient que le logement était vétuste. Mais j'ai été agréablement surprise. Le logement correspond bien à l'annonce.

Wir haben 5 Tage lang eine wundervolle Zeit im Apartment verbracht und wurden von Randi & Morten herzlich begrüßt. Die Lage im idyllischen Vik direkt am Fjord ist einfach traumhaft. Mein Freund ist leidenschaftlicher Angler und konnte sich seinen Traum im norwegischen Meer zu angeln erfüllen 🎣 Randis Mann hat ihn super beraten, die entsprechende Ausrüstung verliehen und uns tolle Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Auch wenn ein paar Tage sehr regnerisch waren, haben wir die Zeit in der gemütlichen Hütte und das Wandern sehr genossen ⛰️🥾Es gibt auch die Möglichkeit ein Boot oder Auto zu mieten, wir selbst sind mit der Fähre gekommen und waren mit Backpack unterwegs. Die Wohnung & Lage bietet alles, was man sich für einen erholsamen Urlaub in Norwegen wünscht. Wir können einen Aufenthalt wärmstens empfehlen 😊

We absolutely loved our stay at Anna’s place. The Airbnb was spotless and the kitchen had every utensil you could need. The beds were so comfortable too! The views right outside the Airbnb were breathtaking. The Airbnb is a short distance to downtown Flåm - perfect location for anyone trying to explore this area. Finally, Anna’s hospitality was top notch - we felt right at home the moment we arrived! Thank you Anna for being such a spectacular host! I give this Airbnb and Anna my highest recommendation.

We loved Trude's place. The view is stunning we took pictures every morning of our stay because it was irresistible. Grocery right next door and 15mins drive to Flam. Trude always responsive to our questions. Highly recommend booking Trude's place.

This was one of the nicest Airbnbs in my years of traveling to Norway. Would definitely come again. The amenities are in great condition. Apartment is clean and comfortable. A cozy place to spend time in a beautiful location.

Our thanks to Rune for a very comfortable stay - sadly just an overnight stop but it would be a great place to base yourself if you were to explore the area.

Beautiful location, great apartment and good amenities! We travelled with a baby for the first time and it was very convenient that a crib with mattress was provided and there was a washer to wash the baby clothes. Location is very convenient to do day trips to Flåm, Gudvagen etc. Response from the hosts were quick and clear!
