Jollyboys - Single Ensuite Room with Air Con

I spent a long weekend here and was very happy with my stay. The food (both breakfast and dinner) was good, and the common area is a great place to work, relax and interact with other guests. The staff were always responsive, kind and helpful. My room had everything I needed. It had decent soundproofing and the bed was very comfortable (perhaps too comfortable XD). Hot water is always present and the pressure is perfect. The WiFi was great, allowing me to work, consume media and browse as needed. While the strength and speed is fantastic around the common areas, the signal from my room (back of the premises) was not available. Adding a booster/mesh would be appreciated. Overall I highly recommend Jollyboys and would gladly return.

Beautiful place to stay, a wonderful breakfast prepared for you every morning and extremely helpful staff. We walked to the falls in about half an hour from Liams but it is a little further out of town than most of the other hotels. This wasn’t a problem for us during the day but would advise a taxi when it is dark. The bed is enormous and the shower is fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great location, practical to reach many places and activities in Vic Falls. The bedroom and bathroom are clean and in good condition The host and staff were welcoming and helpful and arranged for transport from/to the airport (paid separately). I recommend this lodge to any staying in Vic Falls.

I had a great stay at Philani’s. While I did not meet him in person, Philani was always contactable and provided me with everything I needed. The apartment is located in a safe neighbourhood, only 30mins by foot from Victoria Falls National Park. The room was clean and cozy and had everything I needed. Overall a great stay and highly recommended.

The house is residential with ~4 suites. Doug doesn't live there, so guests have complete use of the home with only Busi (the house manager/keeper) there during the day to keep everything clean, organized, and tend to any requests. The area is a safe quiet tourist area. A supermarket is only 15 minutes walking, Elephant's Walk is only 23 minutes, and I passed other tourists on both journeys. The living room, dining room, kitchen, cookware, and cutlery were pristine. The bed was comfortable with new mattress, quality linen, fluffy pillows, and clean blankets. I slept quite peacefully. I recommended a fresh coat of paint and a suitcase rack or area to hang/ unpack a few outfits. Doug was always friendly, responsive, flexible, supportive, and patient. He tailors to what the guest needs. He accommodated early check-in, late check-out, and a ride to the airport. His wife and Busi even coordinated a traditional home-cooked meal of sadza, stewed chicken, and rape. Hospitality at its best!

Jabula Homes is a GREAT place to stay! Nyasha was a super host, including airport pickup and orientation, and everything was immaculate and pleasant in the room and common areas. It’s a great location, very easily walkable to town (and the falls beyond, etc), and good WiFi. Check out Loretta’s coffee and smoothies a short walk away, and Shoestrings Cafe/Bar for a communal vibe. And if you like art, we were very happy to discover some packable pieces by young artist @aesthetic.nigel at the VF Art Gallery on the corner of Lawley Road. Highly recommend! PS - The address seems a bit out of order on the road, so just be aware of this when arranging for pickup or dropoff (recommend sharing a landmark, like the nearby Society Kitchen), and highly recommend having Nyasha be your airport pickup for this reason as well.
