Wide apartment in the center of Vernazza, the heart of the Cinque Terre National Park, consisting of a living room, a little terrace with a spectacular seaview, double room and a bathroom. The apartment owns one of the few terraces that faces the main square in Vernazza, which is right on the little harbour. It is near to the train station (200 metres) and there are just a few steps to reach the apartment. The beach, shops, bars and restaurants are just a few steps away.
“Marcella’s apartment exceeded my expectations! There is a well stocked kitchen area with a table to eat at connected to the living room. In the living room there are 2 sofas that can be used as beds (twin size) as well as a rocking chair. The bedroom is separate with a closet and a queen sized comfortable bed. Then up a couple of stairs is a bathroom with a shower. The most amazing part of this apartment is the balcony directly overlooking the main square in Vernazza!!! Two huge glass doors open to a small balcony. You can still fit two of the chairs from the kitchen out there to drink some coffee in the morning or wine at night. You look out of the fishing boats in the square with the ocean just to the left. It in on the lower level and from what I could see the only balcony that close to the square. Such great people watching!”
The Emerald Suite offers a refined and friendly environment. The furnishings move between the charm of tradition and the quiet of the most modern design. Each element is designed and created with the utmost attention to detail. The Suite overlooks the sea, giving visitors a view of extraordinary beauty. The windows frame the beach and the sea of Vernazza creating precious, unforgettable views.
“This gem of a little suite is run by lovely people with both excellent taste in decor and great people skills. The view of the beach from the living room/lounge window is exactly as photographed and you can hear the waves whenever the window is open. If you close the windows, it is silent. There is AC even in October if you need it. The suite is pretty with unusual decorative touches including gorgeous turquoise floor tiles. It has a very elegant and modern bathroom that is sparkling clean. The bed was comfy and firm. But the rooftop terrace cannot be missed. 360 degree views, sun beds and other furniture make it a cool place to hang out. Good buffet breakfast across the square. And Federico is a truly friendly man who communicates effectively and met us at the train to guide us and help with luggage. There are lots of stairs but that is Vernazza. Don’t go if you cannot manage a metal spiral staircase but we are in our 60s and were okay. Five stars from us! We hope to be back and will book this room again if we can.”
Villa L'Eremo sul mare. An exclusive stay in a villa nested on a rocky promontory on the sea, hidden into a thick of pinetrees, holm-oaxes and cypresses near Vernazza, in the middle of the gulf of Cinque Terre. CODICE CITR 011030-BEB-0013
“If I could describe this place in one word, that word would be WOW!! The vistas from this eagles nest, high above Vernazza and the sea are outstanding. You will not be disappointed staying here. My wife and I travelled with backpacks and walked the trail from Corniglia and the location is on the main coastal trail. Other guests had the full luggage ensemble. I couldn't imagine dragging a set of luggage up all those stairs from the train station or the docks. If you plan on bringing suit cases, use the porter service they suggest as it is high above the train station and there are hundreds of steps to climb to get here and some are a touch hazardous. Angela and Marko are wonderful hosts. They correspond very promptly and answered to all our needs. There is a shared patio which boasts a beautiful view of the sea below. You can wander the grounds and take in a spectacular view unlike all the other views along the coastal path. The kitchen area is a shared area as well, so you're having breakfast with other guests at a large harvest table. They have a prepared breakfast with lots of coffee, pastries, freshly squeezed red orange juice that we suspected to be from blood oranges. We never left feeling hungry : ) Thank you again for being such gracious hosts.”
