Holiday rentals with breakfast in Venganoor

The stay was planned as a getaway with family which included elderly parents and 4 others in their 30's. The pool was decent sized and the rooms were all neat with a traditional feel, which really made the parents at ease. Restaurant, beach and other amenities were very close and accessible. It was an easy going experience with no tension in the air. The host Nishal was an absolute gent and was with us whenever we needed him. Overall it was a great experience and would recommend it to families and groups of adult friends to hang out.

Our stay at this place was enjoyable. The rooms were clean .Mrs Santosh was very cooperative and made us feel at home very soon she served us with nice hot breakfast both days and tried her level best to make our stay very comfortable

Our host’s lovely personality made our stay great. Any issues we initially had were quickly attended to. Radha, our host brought daily breakfast from a local restaurant; large quantities of Indian food (i.e. eggs, sambar, dosa, tea). We prepared some meals in the minimal kitchen with goods brought in by Radha (we requested it at our expense). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Radha! *small, local rustic restaurant that cooks over wood; food was delicious, decor not:) *massages at a local tribal place. Woah…again VERY rustic. The male massage was fantastic, female massage poor. *cottage has private access to the river, last free flowing one in Kerala, so beautiful! Swift with strong undercurrent, not recommended for swimming, many people have been fooled by its peaceful appearance and drowned. *wild, mischievous monkeys invade every few days (keep your belongings indoors) interaction not encouraged. Rustic cottage in a jungle forest, bugs, animals, minimal, we ❤️ it

Just perfect. From reception to care to checkout, it couldn't have been better. European standard apartment in the city with views in almost all directions. Dr. Syed speaks perfect German and English. Even the smallest requests for support are immediately helped. And the careaker in the house is also great. If you have to, he'll get almost everything for the guests before you have to do it yourself. Here you can give a generous tip to finish. We will definitely come back. A clean and spacious place with amazing hospitality, suitable for families or solo travellers. It is suitably located in a residential area. The caretaker Matthew went out of his way to ensure I had a comfortable stay. Highly recommended if planning to stay in and around Trivandrum.

Absolutely wonderful facility and very convenient. The host and caretaker are readily available to see to any needs tgat arise.

Villa Akasa beautifully reflects the thoughtfulness and hard work put in by Shama Aunty, Sidharth, Nakul, Raju and the entire staff in creating this perfect nook for beach lovers and homebodies like me. Loved the airy, well-lit room; spacious sit-out; elegant ponds lining the periphery of the rooms; the food (5-stars!) AND the fact that the lovely Papanasam beach is a mere 5 min walk away. The doggos have my heart! Sophie especially! Already planning another trip soon :) Wishing many many years of happy hosting to Villa Akasa folks!

My 9 year old son and I stayed here. My son was excited to stay in Muraleedharan sir's place after seeing the photos. The host's family members and his caretaker were friendly to us and we had a comfortable stay. The quality and taste of food was really nice and worth the price.

Amazing stay at Shama's! Communication was great, the on property staff was incredibly helpful and got up in the middle of the night to let us in. The room is cozy and the bed super comfortable. The breakdasts were delicious and a highlight of our stay. The property overall is very beautiful and located close to the cliffs and a short rickshaw ride away from the main part of town. I would definintely stay here again when coming back. Thank you Shama and team for making us feel as home.

We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Akasa! I really cannot praise the team enough, Sid was very helpful and responsive, the breakfasts were superb (they send you a message the day before for you to choose from different options), and the service was always extremely friendly and nice. The room itself was very spacious (nice tall ceilings!), nicely decorated, and the bathroom was beautiful. The water had good pressure and it was warm. The wi-fi worked well from our bedroom (we booked "Soma"), especially from the little terrace at the front. The terrace is facing the path, so you will probably be greeted by other guests passing by while having breakfast, but we really didn't mind that.

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful oasis of peace and tranquility! Sharma had created such a special place here, and the staff, service and home cooked food were all exceptional. We extended our stay here and were so glad we did. The beauty of nature, smiling faces, delicious Indian breakfasts and dinners all combined to soothe and refresh our bodies and souls after weeks on the road. The location is excellent- very close to a beautiful beach and across the road from a good cafe and Ayurveda clinic where we got some great massages. Sid and Pramod were a great help- very chilled, friendly, great communicators and very helpful. Couldn’t recommend this stay highly enough!

Anitha's Garden Stay is a nice place. Staff is friendly and helpful. It's clean and it is exactly as described. WiFi works fine. Breakfast is simple but food is fresh and yummy. I do recommend it and I wouldn't mind staying there again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Really lovely place to stay. The family who runs it is super friendly and helpful with anything and everything. The garden is full of beautiful fruit trees and also has two very cute ducks. The room at this homestay is very comfortable and the food served is outstanding! My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this extremely peaceful location and can't wait to stay again.
