Excellent stay at this peaceful, well-equipped and well-decorated place! The hosts are very friendly and responsive! Heated and clean pool! Excellent location: just steps from Lake Lacanau! Recommended without so much as a second thought!

Staying at Sophie & Bruno’s place was like staying with friends. The location was perfect for us, outside the city but easy access to the tram to get into Bordeaux or by car to the surrounding area. Three great double bedrooms with ensuite rooms, all air conditioned. We had a terrace to sit outside and eat breakfast. Sophie has an amazing address book for restaurants and we ate out very well each night (La Table de Decanteur (local resto with amazing wine), Zephirine, Ressources (both amazing restaurants, easy to reach by tram) and La Cor(o)niche by the Bassin d’Arcachon). There are plenty of local shops in Le Bouscat easily accessible on foot. We will definitely stay with Sophie again if we’re in Bordeaux, it’s nice to be out of the heat of the city. Sophie & Bruno are very welcoming and make you feel very much at home, nothing is too much trouble. I think my favourite Airbnb to date.

We had a wonderful week in the nice cosy House of Stephane. It is very central in Lacanau, so that you can walk to beaches, restaurants, Shops and Cafés. The Pool is fantastic. Frederic was very friendly and always available if you need something. Thank you

Good large house overall - good spot for a family. The location is very residential so not much to do around and not super close to the city centre by foot. The parking is good for 1 car so if you are multiple families it may be a bit tough. The house was clean, good appliances and amenities in the kitchen so perfect to cook. The outdoor space is nice and adds a plus to the house. The host is not super fast to respond and the check in is very late so to note if you have children as you can’t enter before 5pm. Very kids friendly and enough space for families to be around and feel at ease.

Nathalie and Hubert were very kind and friendly. The place was pristine, beautiful and relaxing. You have to hire a car to visit places in Bordeaux but Hubert provided many great suggestions of local wineries and things to do. He was always responsive and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone thinking about visiting Bordeaux.

We had a really great stay. We enjoyed a relaxing few days by the pool. The accommodation was very clean and we found the hosts to be very friendly and communication was 10/10.

We spent two great nights at Mireille's, the location of the house is amazing , we just put the car in the gated garage and everything done on foot. Very good restaurants nearby with very nice people. The proximity to the beach and the market is really great, just a 3min walk. Mireille was very warm, flexible and responsive, the welcome and checkout was great. We will recommend this rental with great pleasure and will most likely return. Thank you so much to the owners.

Michael is a very welcoming host, his advice is wise. The chalet is cozy, warm and well-equipped with a nice garden. Impeccable cleanliness and very good bedding. Possibilities of walks to the lake on foot or by bike from the chalet. Perfect for discovering the region.

Very understanding, very welcoming hosts. A place in a great location, the ocean at our feet. The city center of Soulac nearby. Very well arranged, clean, very good bedding, a quiet and relaxing environment. An address that we treasure. Can't wait to come back.

Great welcome, nice, well-equipped accommodation. There were 2 bikes that made it easy to get around. Quiet accommodation and very friendly host.

Sandra is very welcoming and responsive. She responds quickly to requests. The accommodation is nice and spacious. Beautiful living room in a cozy atmosphere. There were 2 of us with a baby. The size of the accommodation was perfect with a nice outdoor terrace. We had a great time in Avignon. The beach is 15/20 minutes walking. The icing on the cake is that Sandra has a beauty salon right next door. My wife took the opportunity to have a one-hour massage and she loved it. We will come back without hesitation.

Excellent welcome from our host, with his nice smile. Mélanie is responsive, available and gave us very good advice on restaurants and activities to discover on the island. The accommodation is close to the city center, with its covered market, where you can buy fresh products, close to a supermarket, colorful fishermen's huts, the citadel... The accommodation is very clean, well arranged, tastefully decorated, well equipped and air-conditioned. The bedding is extremely good. We have stayed several times on the island, which we love very much. We will gladly return to Mélanie and Nicolas.

Catherine and Philippe were very nice and warm. The house is close to everything on foot, 800 m walk to nearby bike paths (be careful to book your bikes because none were available for us). The pool is great, the house is spacious and comfortable to stay in. Small black mark for the washing machine, for the rest everything was perfect! A small welcome gesture, the essentials for the first few days were already provided by our hosts (toilet paper, laundry pods… rare and thoughtful touches)

The house is spacious and charming. A peaceful haven in a green setting a short walk to the village and the beach. The terrace is lovely and we had a lovely stay. We would highly recommend it.
