Holiday rentals in Veendam

Really super nice B&B! The toys, kitchenette, shop, the garden and of course the gym were great for entertainment for the whole weekend. Especially the gym is great success. The space is also very spacious and equipped with all the comforts! Layers even ready for everyone and all the beds were made. Coffee etc in the kitchen is also ready so top! There are certainly also some small downsides, but they don't matter what's fun. And you can set it up because you have already read this as well in the reviews in advance (creaky stairs and cold bathroom). So we knew in advance and is very good to adapt. We had a wonderful time at Joke's. The cottage is very nice, high quality and cozy. Everything you need is there and the kitchen is also very well equipped. There was a small grill on the terrace that we could use. The garden is beautifully landscaped with many seating areas. Here you can enjoy the sun and the peace. The breakfast was very lovingly arranged, delicious and varied! Thank you for that! There are smaller towns and cities in the area. Groningen is only about 30 minutes away by car. We particularly liked the proximity to the Drentsche Aa National Park (about 20 minutes by car). There you can take short and long hikes in a beautiful landscape. We highly recommend the accommodation and will definitely come back :)

Beautiful place, quiet, what you need for a summer vacation in a secluded place.

A great location to explore Groningen from there. Nature park across the street, which radiates peace and quiet, but in Veendam for the busy happenings if you feel like it. Cottage completely met our expectations, everything was thought of to make you feel at home by the little things they thought of. We highly recommend our critical knowledge circle to choose this location, which also applies to us if we want to explore Groningen again in the future. Thank you for the hospitality Karen. We had a wonderful time at the former school, it was an absolutely adorable apartment and very kids-friendly with toys, swings and an extra gym to play with / at. We can only recommend the accomondation, especially when traveling with kids. The interior was lovely, too - nice design and lovely details. Staying with three different families, the sound insulation between the bedrooms wasn't really given though, which was fine for a long weekend. The communication with the hosts was great, too. We felt very comfortable in Inge and Robin's apartment as it was very clean and cozily furnished. The highlight was the pellet stove, which gave the apartment a very pleasant atmosphere. Inge responded very quickly to inquiries. In addition, some treats (rolls, yogurt, chocolate sprinkles, etc.) were waiting for us on our arrival. We will be happy to come back!

Lovely spacious cottage with all the comforts! Views over the fields, a nice starting point for biking and walking. We enjoyed it!

Very nice apartment to relax. Fully equipped and very nice decor! Highly recommended. Very friendly and helpful owners with a fantastic golden spot.
