Beautiful 2-person apartment in rural Veendam

The B&B is an apartment with its own entrance, private shower/toilet room, and is within cycling distance of the station in Veendam, from where the train leaves for the beautiful city of Groningen. There is also a lot to see in the province itself. However, after a busy day, you will always return to the tranquility and space of B&B HoutStee. You can relax under the veranda, enjoy bird sounds. Possibly in good weather, use the BBQ. Everything is available for this. You also have 2 bicycles at your disposal.

B&B de Bovenbouw: Loft in characteristic school

In the school building where we live as a family, we transformed the superstructure into B&B. In the 5 meter high local, we built a loft where there is a double bed and 2 children's rooms. We give sports classes in the gym, feel free to join or go for monkey cages with your children when it rains. Outside they can feed the chickens, pick up eggs, play on the square and directly in front of the school is a playground. At 5 minutes distance, a beach/nature reserve. Good to know: it's without breakfast.

The Tribe: special loft in elementary school

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. We converted the auditorium of the school in which we live as a family, together with an artist, into a special loft with 3 bedrooms. Downstairs are play corners for children and guests are allowed to use the gym where CrossFit lessons are also provided. Behind the school is a great place with sandpit and picnic table where you look out over the Groningen fields. Relax while your children enjoy themselves!

The kitchen, bathroom with shower, toilet and living room with TV are shared with other guests and are located on the ground floor. Wi-Fi and parking are free. Beautiful rural area with hiking, biking and mountain biking routes. The big cities of Assen, Groningen and Emmen are about 20 km away.

This Bed & Breakfast is in a nostalgic Veenkolonial farmhouse of almost 300 years in Borgercompagnie. The stay is an experience. You enter an oasis of peace. The barn is full of art, natural stone and special designs. The gardens are landscaped with a lot of imagination and attention with a multitude of special structures, fruit trees and gazebos. Spend the night in the beautiful Upper Pekela. In "the Mammaloe" there is no toilet and laundry facilities, for this you can go to the toilet unit that is 10 meters away.
