Waterfront holiday rentals in Västra Motala

Clean and tidy, cozy apartment with plenty of space at the top of an old wooden house. Nice reception and assistance from a friendly host. Really central location, in the middle of the square and in the middle of the city pulse with the possibility to find peace in the backyard with beach to Vättern.

Very happy with our stay! It has been easy with communication and a very nice and thoughtful treatment of the landlord who received two tired girls after getting through the Vättern round. And in addition, the accommodation was right at the start/finish area, so it was absolutely perfect for us who needed somewhere to sleep before it was time to go home!

Pleasant stay with a good and dedicated host. You felt welcome. Employment in the accommodation for large and small and it feels private and individual even if there are several residences in the house. Experienced the surroundings as calm. There was everything my family and I needed for the stay and I also think it was worth the price. I will gladly book there again when I need to. You can be aware that you can hear when those who live above walk around in the morning if you are disturbed by such.

Beautiful setting, very peaceful area, the owners were very helpful and gave us lots of recommendations for the area.

Great secluded place to stay

we were very pleased with the house, which was spacious and large for 4 people. especially we liked the glass veranda when we came back from our adventures. There was nothing missing Björn's house was just a stone's throw from the hiking trail with its beautiful canal and nature. we are super happy with everything. And we highly recommend Björn's house. Very nice house and close to the place we were going to.

The apartment is very spacious and cozy and offers plenty of space, also as far as the outdoor area is concerned. Lake (Sommen) access is very close within walking distance. At the private dock you will find everything you need to relax and enjoy. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful vacation with our family and grandparents. The children enjoyed playing outside on the trampoline, boating, fishing and even paddle boarding in the sun. For the adults enough seating in and around the house to enjoy the silence, the birds and the beautiful surroundings out of the wind and in the sun. Beautiful hiking opportunities nearby and the sauna was nice with convenient showers directly adjacent. However, it is useful to know that the second bathroom is not present in the main house. This was no problem for us. Stefan was remotely quick and very helpful and friendly in contact. Our holiday started cold, but inside it was very cozy with the soapstone wood stove for which there was enough wood available. On the lake you can fish with the boat with anchor, useful to know that fishing up to a maximum of 60 meters from the side is quite possible. We enjoyed it.

We had a nice evening at Anna-Karin's house. It was clean and nice and had a nice location with lake view and pool. The area was quiet and Anna-Karin was quick to help us if we had questions. Recommends this accommodation :)

This place is wonderful!! It's perfect for a family gathering. The host is a good communicator and very responsive. My family enjoyed our stay here and made a lot of memories that we will cherish forever.

Nice cottage to stay in, close to the beach and harbor in a lovely village. Stayed here in early June, so the summer heat was not quite there yet, but I can imagine that this is perfect to stay in July-August if you love to swim and get a summer feeling. No toilet/shower in the cottage but it worked very well to go to those that are just over 50-100 meters away, they were nice and well cleaned.

My friends and I had a lovely few days. The house provided privacy and we enjoyed total silence except for birds singing. The expansive view is not really captured in the pictures, it's much nicer in real life. You lose your chin when you step out on the terrace. Inside the house everything was clean and well disposed. The kitchen is well equipped and the living room offered large windows facing the lake, where often the gaze ended up instead of the TV. The bathroom was modern and fresh. Likewise the bedrooms. The nice surroundings were wonderful for walking. Anna was super nice and quick to respond to questions both before and during the stay. In short: looking for the peace, nature, and a real feel-good experience, this is a given choice. We would be glad to come back! /Tomas
