Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Varennes-sur-Loire

Wat een fantastisch charmante en vriendelijke dame is Catherine en wat een meer dan geweldige gites heeft ze. Een parel met een tuin waar je je over zal verbazen. Er zit hier zoveel liefde in. In het echt in de gites met het buitenverblijf nog veel mooier dan op de foto’s. Brandschoon, verse bloemen op tafel en van alle gemakken voorzien. We waren zo onder de indruk dat we niet uit eten zijn gegaan maar zelf wat hebben gekookt (met verse salie uit haar kruidentuin) en op ons fijne terras hebben opgegeten. De omgeving is ook adembenemend. We hebben een aantal chateau’s bezocht en op een fijn terras in Chinon even wat gedronken. Gisteravond kwam Catherine nog wat verse melisse aanbieden, om een kopje thee te maken voor een goede nachtrust. Hoe lief! Vanmorgen met een hug afscheid genomen en dit adres in onze top 5 gezet om zeker terug te keren.

Séjour formidable chez Yoann, hôte très réactif et arrangeant. La maison est impeccable et décorée avec goût. Nous pourrions tout à fait séjourner à nouveau chez Yoann.

Logement agréable et très fonctionnel. Facile d'accès et idéalement situé (proche commerces et proche de la Loire pour faire de belles balades). L'hôte nous avez laissé des gourmandises de bienvenue. C'est une personne amicale et réactive. Nous recommandons son logement.

We had a wonderful time at Dorothée’s place. The house is exactly how it looks on the pictures. Very cozy, stylish and comfortable. Being 4 people, all of us had our privacy without disturbing each other. The house has all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The location is very charming and peaceful for everyone who needs a good rest :) an absolute recommendation!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Aline et Guy. Le logement est spacieux , lumineux , fonctionnel , bien équipé , très propre et décoré avec goût. La literie est parfaite! Les extérieurs sont très beaux , bien entretenus et très fleuris , ce qui est très appréciable. Aline et Guy sont des hôtes discrets mais très disponibles avec qui nous avons eu de très bons échanges et qui nous ont donné plein d'idées pour les sorties. Nous recommandons sans hésiter ce logement ainsi que ses propriétaires pour tous ceux qui veulent faire un break au calme ou pour ceux ( comme nous ) qui veulent visiter la région sans faire trop de kilomètres ( de très beaux sites à découvrir à environ 1/2 h ou moins )

‘Le Barn’, in the grounds of Chateau Belebat, is a charming accommodation which is beautifully and tastefully presented by the engaging hosts Jeff and Oscar. It is a peaceful, rural location, ideal as a base from which to explore this area of the Loire by car. For those on 2 wheels, it is worth mentioning the cycle path close by which connects to the local village with the all important Boulanger just 2km away from Le Barn. The nearby town of Richelieu is worth a visit and there are numerous other attractions in the locality. We picnicked by the river, tasted and bought wine in various Chateaux, explored Saumur, Chinon, Amboise, and several smaller villages, discovered charming restaurants, explored local markets and toured some of beautiful Chateaux gardens. Overall a wonderful spot although the little seating area outside Le Barn is not particularly private or comfortable if one wanted to chill/sleep/read a book in complete peace for an hour or two after a hard day sightseeing.

This is a very wonderful place and the owner has made such a beautiful restoration! We truly enjoyed the recommended Longelois winery - such a good experience! Our only wish was a fan which would have been very much appreciated on the very hot days we had. We hope to come back another time.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad met ons gezin (kinderen van 1 en 3 jaar oud). Het huis is landelijk gelegen en daardoor heerlijk rustig. Voor de kinderen was er zowel binnen als buiten veel te doen: speelgoed, spelletjes, een fijne tuin: echt ideaal voor jonge kinderen. Ook in de omgeving zijn er genoeg leuke uitjes en plekjes om te ontdekken. Alles was schoon, netjes en goed verzorgd. We hebben echt genoten van de rust, ruimte en kindvriendelijkheid. Een aanrader!

Super appartement de ville, le lit était très confortable. Tout est neuf, propre et fidèle à la description. C'était parfait, je recommande.

J’ai passé un excellent. Le logement est bien situé avec pleins de restaurants dans la rue piétonne. Je vous recommande ce logement spacieux et agréable !

Joëlle a été réactive dès que nous avions une question, l’appartement est très bien situé (proche du château ou des rues commerçantes et parking proche), très propre et dispose du nécessaire pour une nuit. Nous ne pouvons que recommander l’appartement de Joëlle.

Un logement accueillant et paisible dans une rue piétonne de Saumur extrêmement bien placé où tout est très accessible. Les hôtes étaient adorables et très réactifs. Je conseille vivement leur restaurant au pied de l'appartement ! J'ai passé un excellent séjour pour une première dans la région 🤍 Je reviendrais c'est certain !

What a gem! The Red House sits perfectly nestled in the picturesque, quaint medieval village of Chinon with close access to restaurants, shops, and parking at the bottom of a sloped cobblestone street. From the door of the lodging you can walk up to the fortress in about 5 minutes! We were charmed by this historic home and comfortable during our stay. The rooms were clean, well appointed, and provided for all of our needs. Please note that the staircase to get up to the Airbnb is steep and uneven.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement. Décoré avec beaucoup de goût. tout proche des commerces et restaurants Nous n avons pas eu besoin de bouger notre véhicule.

Excellent séjour chez François, logement à la fois impeccablement propre et fonctionnel. Quartier calme, stationnement facile et sécurisé avec place de parking privée. Vraiment rien à redire. Je recommande vivement et je reviendrais sans hésiter si l’occasion me le permet. Merci pour cette expérience et bonne continuation.

studio agreable bien équipé et super propre. la résidence est très bien entretenue, très calme et sécurisée. commerces accessibles à pieds et balades à proximité. je recommande vraiment

Bonne expérience. Le logement était conforme à la description. Très agréable, bien agencé, très chaleureux et fonctionnel. Le lit est très grand et l'accès au jardin (un véritable petit écrin de verdure) est un vrai bonus. Le seul bémol pourrait venir du stationnement. Aux heures où le quartier est fréquenté, il est plutôt difficile de trouver une place pour se garer à proximité du logement. Je recommande sans hésiter pour un séjour à Saumur.

Logement très propre et calme, on s y sent bien, remise des clefs très pratique, l appartement est plein de petites attentions très agréables.....je recommande vivement !!!

On a passé un super séjour chez Jérémie. L’appartement est situé très proche du jardin des plantes donc pas loin du centre ville. C’est un coin calme - pas de bruit pendant les nuits, même avec les fenêtres ouvertes. Très confortable, et bien recommandé!
