The place is so beautiful and clean. The view from the outdoors is nice and peaceful. The scene of sheep eating grass multiple times a day in a small field under the pool is wonderful. (Photo first house) Maria, who showed us around, is so kind and nice.

We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous villa. From the moment we met Stefanos and his parents at their nearby taverna to say hello and get the keys, we knew it would be a great vacation. We were welcomed with cold drinks and plates of delicious food. Stefanos personally took us to the villa, showed us around and answered all our questions. There was a beautiful food basket (vegetables, fruit, olive oil, and other Crete delights) waiting for us as a further welcome. The villa itself is even more gorgeous than in the photos. It is beautifully appointed and each of the 4 bedrooms has its own bath so it was perfect for the couples staying there. The view is stunning - looking out over olive groves and farm land with the sea in the distance. We found fantastic beaches nearby, groceries and great tavernas in local villages. We also enjoyed some swims in the pool at the villa. All in all, a wonderful stay and a huge thanks to Stefanos and his family for so warmly welcoming us!

If you are searching for paradise, you will find it here! Words can‘t describe the magic of this place. It‘s all about the details of design and living (from the signature house scent and the open-air shower to the tasteful interior design and the infinity pool overlooking the rough cliffs of crete), total peace far away from hustle and bustle and waking up to the breathtaking, unmatched view of the sea right from your bed. Einat was a great host, she welcomed us personally and was always there for any questions. Good to know: In the region are not many mini- or supermarkets and everything is at least a 15 min drive away. But you can enjoy a delicious breakfast at the apartment if you want so and Einats recommendations for great tavernas, beaches and beautiful villages in the area are worth every ride! You should listen to her tips, because some of them were the gems of our crete trip for sure. It was definetly not our last visit. Thanks for the great experience!

The location of villa Adriana is perfect for people who love the quiet country side. No neighbours, but some goats , sheep and a cat who can see you walking in pyjamas in the garden in the morning. Very comfy and really huge beds! The kitchen has all the utensils you need to cook. There could be more light above the (electric) stove. The one from the extractor hood didn’t work. Compared with the beautiful bathroom and bedroom downstairs the kitchen is rather outdated. It was fine to cook nevertheless , especially with the delicious olive oil Alexandros gave us! Unfortunately it was not warm enough -end April, start of May- to swim in the pool, but the view of the pool with the garden full of flowers and olive trees and, on the background, the mountains still covered with a bit of snow was stunning anyway! I loved the road to the house: first drive through the village with narrow streets and then through the olive yards. Last but not least: the host Alexandros is very kind as well!

The little house was exactly as described, well equipped and perfect for couples for a sunny break. The pool was amazing and the rooftop terrace afforded us the most spectacular sunset views! the location is private and peaceful, whilst remaining a sensible distance to shops and fantastic restaurants. I recently stayed at this beautiful villa in Greece, and it exceeded all my expectations! The villa itself is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the bedrooms were cozy and inviting. We absolutely loved every minute at Nikolaos’s home! Our only regret is that we didn’t plan enough time to just take it easy in Kefalos and the nearby villages, which are so beautiful and full of history. Nikolaos was an excellent communicator (timely, clear, thoughtful, proactive, responsive). He had some food staples ready for us in the kitchen upon arrival. The home was comfortable and charming as was the village - adorable and friendly cats and dogs roaming the village eased our homesickness for our own dog at home. If you’re looking to escape the bustling and crowded nature of Chania then I highly recommend staying here where you can experience the nearby attractions, but retreat back to the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of Nikolaos’s home and Kefalas.

This was the best AirBnb I've ever stayed at, and it really made our trip to Crete. Maria was an A+ host. She was extremely responsive and helpful and pointed us to all of the best beaches and restaurants. The house is in immaculate condition, very clean, and very spacious, and is only 10 minutes from downtown Chania. Thank you for everything, Maria!

We spent a few wonderful days at Anastasia-Maria`s place around the Greek Easter celebration. Anastasia was so nice to prepare a table with different typical Easter things, like the red Easter eggs, the Lambades, some Koulourakia, the EasterBrioche and had prepared little notes to explain the easter traditions. That was amazingly kind !!! Whenever we had a question she answered within a very short time, always helpful and very friendly. The place is a beautifully calm place, where two adults and one teenager could recharge indoors and outdoors. It would easily fit another two people. We had regular cat visitors outside the kitchen door :) You will need a car to get there and to explore places like Rethimno, Chania, Elafonissi or Preveli. There are taverns in the surrounding villages and a Mini-supermarket 5 minutes by car down the road. We can highly recommend this place and will come back in the future. Eleftherios is a very likeable, helpful and great host! The small house is usually well shaded in the middle of an olive grove. You can pick mulberries from the terrace, a little further there are fresh oranges and lemons. The accommodation is not only beautiful, but also very well thought out. In addition to the good insulation, in which a short use of the air conditioning also cools, the fly screen in front of the large bedroom window, the Bluetooth box, the large terrace with a beautiful view of the olive grove, it is the small, well-considered things that simply give pleasure. Starting with sharp, small knives, mosquito repellent, coffee, detergent, good shower gel, orange press, good cooking utensils... We will be back, no question!

Small pleasant cocoon, clean, nice and quiet (for the low season). Nice terrace but watch out for mosquitoes. Very touristy village without the charm of Crete.

We stayed for one week and had a really great time. The house is beautiful and very spacious. The host was always easy to reach and we got many recommendations. We would really recommend this beautiful house, we want to come again next year!

Stayed two weeks in Lemon Tree House, partly working remotely, and loved it. Anthoula is a wonderful host, the house is in a perfect location: quiet, a couple of minutes from the seafront and restaurants with pretty, flower-filled front and back gardens. Kitchen is well-equipped, friendly welcome pack and twice weekly change of linen and towels. It is very good value for money - I can't wait to go back next year! The village has a great beach and plenty of choice of bars and tavernas and an easy bus ride into Chania if you don't have a car.

Very nice stay, big clean pool and awesome surroundings. BBQ lovers: there is a bbq on site but they will have to pre-check with the fire department if BBQing is allowed due to fire risk (pretty reasonable). For us it worked but take it as a heads up. Super cute place overall 😉

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing house in Crete! The home itself is spacious, beautifully maintained, and set in a peaceful and scenic environment. The large garden was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the quiet surroundings. The location is ideal, Kalyves and Chania were both fantastic to explore, with stunning beaches, charming streets, and great local food. Our host was incredibly responsive and kind, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We felt truly welcome. Highly recommended, we would love to come back!

We had a great time staying at Zoi and Jorge's place, Villa Amorada is picture perfect and the surrounds are stunning.

We had a wonderful stay of three weeks in the villa. The surroundings and the grounds are truly idyllic and invite you to unwind. The villa is very clean, well equipped and has a beautiful view of nature. There's so much to discover. There is a small local convenience store within walking distance that has everything you need.
