I loved this stay! Ana is a true Superhost always willing to help and communicate with the guest. Chaves is a wonderful city that deserves to be visited and I totally recommend this apartment as it is exactly in the heart of the historic center where it is easy to go to all the points of interest on foot (Termas, Ponte Romana, Castelo de Chaves, Fort São Francisco, Matiz Church, etc.) It is very close to the best restaurants and pastry shops in the city to taste the best smokier, loin post and the famous pastries that are a delicacy. Espetacular really. Thanks Ana for help in everything!

Old apartment, lots of charm, with a nice view of the mountains. Ideally located in the historic district, close to the thermal baths where you can drink, for free, glasses of this thermal water to eliminate the effects of the excellent port of the bars of the Trajan bridge...

This was my career best find on Airbnb. Really loved staying in the guesthouse of the vineyard. They have the most adorable dog, incredible views and the room looked freshly renovated. There even is a fridge and a microwave and a coffee maker available, which I didn’t expect from the listing.

A great stay in the vineyards, the concierge Antonio is very friendly and welcoming. A bottle of wine on arrival. Everything was clean and the view... I recommend it x 1000.

We had three beautiful days at the Quinta da Penada. A car is advisable to reach the steep mountain to the winery. But also to be able to do a few leisure activities. Of course, you can also linger by the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the valley. Every time it looks different. Of course, you should also taste and enjoy the in-house wine. It is also sold on site. We found it very well with the Quinta da Penada. Everything was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and pleasantly big for two people. There was even a fridge in the room. We can also recommend the restaurant at the village exit on the right in Vidago in the direction of the highway. Very friendly and good cuisine. A trip to Porto or the beach takes about 1.5 hours by car. So you can also stay a little longer at this beautiful place. Communication works well, Marco can always be reached via What app. We say thank you again!

The accommodation is a perfectly renovated old building with the latest technology. I had apartment number 8, which had a fantastic view of the river and the old town from the first floor. Overall, the apartment is bright and friendly. Only for the kitchen I would have liked more equipment such as a pasta strainer, more knives for the preparation, a spatula and a casserole dish. So you can have breakfast, but you have to improvise when cooking. There is a large free parking lot for the rental car 120 meters away by the river. All in all, I was satisfied and would come back at any time.

we were looking for a nice place and tailored to us for a short key visit and we found exactly what we were looking for and even more. We were pleasantly surprised by the house and the location. A very well achieved space, modern and with great taste, in a very central location. As we make use of the kitchen, it could have a lot more of cutlery, cloths and dishes, but what had arrived perfectly. We adored the stay and highly recommend it to 4 people. Congratulations on space!!!!

A great find if you are planning a stay in Chaves: located very central, close to the points of interest and good cafes and restaurants. This Airbnb is run by an incredibly friendly host who is willing to go the extra mile to make sure that her guests have the best possible experience. Very clean apartment with excellent quality beds which guarantee good sleep. Chaves is definitely worth a visit, it has a nice range of monuments, nice museums and walks all within easy walking distance. Having a parking spot almost in front of our accommodation was a big plus too!

The host was fantastic, available and very respectful. The apartment is in a very good location close to swimming pool restaurants and the city center. Everything is new and very well arranged. Great plus for the terrace and pool. Thank you again, we'll be back!

Very central part of chaves where you can easily walk to most stuff even though its not a crazy busy city like porto or lisbon. Apartment was very clean and had ac which not a lot of places do. Overall was nice and accomadating for the short stay we needed.

Extremely nice and accommodating hosts. Spacious, comfortable and well situated house. Excellent location for visiting Macedo de Cavaleiros, the surrounding natural spaces and the Entrudo Chocalheiro (Caretos) in Podence, about 10 minutes away. We really liked it!

The beautiful complex is an oasis in the somewhat bustling environment of the city of Vila Real. Ins and her people are very friendly and extremely nice, without being intrusive. Every morning fresh bread is brought to the house, great service, also the daily cleaning of the bungalow is very pleasant. The garden areas are very well maintained, the pool is cleaned daily, the water is super clear and refreshing. Our bungalow was more spacious than it looked like in the pictures and wonderfully cool due to the thick granite walls even at 33 degrees outside temperature. The excursion tips are lovingly drawn and well thought out. All in all, the four of us had a wonderful week at Ines. Thank you!

It was a very nice stay! It was all super clean, something we highly valued! Having where to park the car next to the house, with its own plaza seemed phenomenal to us!

I had a fantastic stay. It’s in a wonderfully restored historic building located right on Trajan’s bridge and the Tamega River—the ambience and location are incredible. Everything in town is within very easy walking distance. Isabel and staff were friendly, helpful and responsive. I’m looking forward to staying here again on my next visit!

We had a fantastic stay. The beds in the living room are not in the photo but were completely good for our kids. The air conditioners and the dark rooms allowed everyone to sleep well. The view of the douro and fields was beautiful. You could swim and have breakfast at the adjacent hotel and the 2 restaurants around the corner were super good. You can also easily take the train to Pinhao for a port tasting. In short, wonderful stay!
