Een goed verborgen parel in de bergen, deze historische rustico die zo mooi gelegen is en sfeervol ingericht. Bij aankomst, voelden we ons gelijk thuis, en iedere dag genoten we van de verschillende hangplekken en uitzichten, en de mooie trips die vanuit het huis zo te maken zijn. Armin reageerde snel, had goeie tips en is heel gastvrij. Een absolute aanrader!

Besonders hervorheben möchte ich Ilaria – sie war unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Man hat sich direkt willkommen gefühlt. Wir haben 3 Nächte im Häuschen von Corinne verbracht. Es ist wirklich ein wundervoller, ruhiger Ort mitten in der Natur. Das Häuschen und der Garten sind sehr gepflegt. Man hat eine wunderbare Aussicht auf den See und die Berge. Im Häuschen ist wirklich alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Corinne war sehr hilfsbereit und hat immer schnell geantwortet.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt super gefallen, das Rustico wurde mit viel Liebe renoviert. Es hat von A bis Z alles perfekt funktioniert und Michelle hat immer äusserst schnell geantwortet. Das Dorf Aurigeno ist sehr ruhig, in der kleinen Osteria treffen sich nach Feierabend die Dorfbewohner und man fühlt sich sehr willkommen. Man kann wunderbare Ausflüge in die Natur unternehmen und es finden sich in der Umgebung diverse Grotti. Wir konnten uns bestens erholen.

Wow. Cinzia’s home on the lake is amazing. I can’t recommend it highly enough. We had a fantastic stay and Cinzia is a truly wonderful host. The views are stunning and you’re only a short walk from Lierna, with bars, restaurants and shops. Lierna was never too busy so everything felt peaceful and quiet. It’s also easy to jump on a ferry to Bellagio or get the train up to Varenna. But it would have been easy to just spend the whole time sat by the lake. Even the odd burst of rain or thunderstorms didn’t dampen our stay. There’s always the sauna to warm up in too. Cinzia also offers little extras and we’re glad we took up her offer of an airport transfer, which made things very easy! And also, a charcuterie, which was so much more than we expected. Was very sad to leave but still managed one last early morning swim in the lake before we left.

Fresh House by the River in the Verzasca Valley

The location was amazing; it was immersed in nature, with the river flowing just a few meters away. The house was very cozy, with a nice patio and clean, even though there was quite a lot of dust that caused a couple of us allergic reactions. Lavertezzo is a magical place with a lot of hiking options. There are a couple of very reasonable rules, which are simple to follow, but the communication was a bit dry, and they use a lot of exclamation points in the instructions they give you, which I find comes across as rude. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the fact that they list a BBQ and a wood oven, which are not usable; the BBQ is in bad condition, and for the wood oven, no fire tools are provided. Nevertheless is an amazing place and we enjoyed our stay very, very much.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Toms Unterkuft. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig und sauber, inmitten der Natur. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell in Ascona und Locarno und das Verzasca Tal ist gleich um die Ecke. Wir würden wieder kommen! :)
