Great house in a ski area but also during Summer time lots of quietness, hiking opportunities and awesome nature around. Definitely enjoyed our stay and communication with Svenn-Erik was superb! Thanks again

What a wonderful place to be for a number of days! Enjoy the nature and each other. The sheep that come to say hi, the followers that whistle. Delicious cooking with the stuff you have or the open fire. It really is a beautiful cabin!

We just landed back in UK after a fantastic stay in beautiful post card picture log cabin,loads of space and very warm and homely. steep drive to cabin in icing weather but roads are cleared.foind it ok We drove to hovden and did skiing for 3 days around 1 Hr drive but broke on your doorstep but was only open on sat, Sunday, Thursday and we arrived Friday.

We had the most wonderful week with children, grandchildren and mother-in-law in this absolutely unique and for an architect's exciting house - an original Norwegian log cabin with super comfortable furniture, beds and well equipped with all kitchen equipment, firewood, games, TV and internet. The cabin was secluded a little by itself overlooking the beautiful Brokke mountain and over the cabin area, which we enjoyed from the porch around the fire pit, We could walk/stand skiing to the ski place, which also meets all our needs. We give the cabin, Bente and Tor-Olav our best recommendations and would like to come again - not least to also experience the place in the summer. Only downside was that we had to wear snow chains 500 meters before the cabin. We were not prepared for the driveway to be so steep. We later found that it is easier to drive a little further on the big road, and first drive into the cabin area from the driveway just across from Brokke-Alpincenter. In the cabin, there is gravel to spread out, but we only found out later. Thank you very much for the loan: -)

Great weekend. Very nice location with being able to put on your skis at the cabin and run into the slopes. Plenty of space and clean to nice.

Simple hut, as described. There are sheep right next to the hut😊. Unfortunately, there were no garbage bags, for example, and it was not quite as clean as the other accommodations we stayed in. For one night, however, it's perfectly fine.

Very nice and welcoming host. Met us upon arrival and gave good instructions on how it worked with gas, water and electricity. That this runs on aggregates/solar cells. Had to fill water about twice a day, and have to think about how to use water in relation to home, both in terms of the amount of cold and hot water. The cabin is for someone who appreciates living a little easier than a cabin that has standards like home. Great location that invites peace and privacy. Will be back for sure!

We had a wonderful stay at Annika's mountain hut. It was a beautiful area and we had everything we needed on site. If we had any questions, Annika always responded promptly and had quick solutions for us. Everything was very straightforward. We highly recommend Annika as a host.

A very unique cabin to stay in! there is a fire pit outside with accessible woods to set a fire, fairly equipped kitchen. The cabin is under renovation and overall very spacious and homey.

Nice, new and modern cabin, which has what you need. The host responded very quickly. Short distance to the alpine resort. Very happy with everything.

Lovely cottage and beautiful areas but lots of activities and beautiful nature

We were the first guests in this spectacular new house, which has all the comfort you need. It is situated in a beautiful location, next to the lake. The snow gave beautiful images. The children loved playing around the house. The house is close to Brokke for skiing. Rune is a fantastic host. Always available, helpful and very friendly. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back!

Very nice cabin with two living rooms and nice location right by Brokke alpine center. Nice to sit on the second floor on the sitting bench by the window and look outwards. Tone responded quickly and pleasantly :) thank you for a great stay!

5* for EVERYTHING and thank you for this great opportunity! The location is fantastic, the cabin is enchanting, the amenities are extensive and the view from the window is fairytale. Sledges are possible for the children right outside the door, a 5-minute drive to the ski lift, 15 minutes to the nearest shop. Thank you Steen family and see you soon!

Very nice place and a great spacious cabin. Host is very helpful and responds very quickly. Recommended!

Merete and her husband built this lake cabin all by herself. We were their very first tenants, it was clearly very exciting for them. They were waiting for us upon arrival. We will receive an extensive tour and instructions about the water that had to be pumped up from a generator and pump from a spring. We only had to do this twice in one week to have enough water to shower, cook, flush toilet,... no problem at all. Their youngest son let our son know where to find small frogs and from then on we had this beautiful property for ourselves for a week. Lots of hiking in beautiful nature and being able to swim through the warm and beautiful weather in various breathtaking locations. This place is definitely recommended if you want luxury and tranquility in the middle of nature.

We found Linda's house last minute before vacation, and luckily Linda responded quickly and positively. Big nice and brand new house, with everything we needed. Just a little swim to Hovden. Would highly recommend☺️
