Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Vale of Glamorgan

The place was beautiful and the hosts were very responsive. The cinema room was a hit with us all - watching Lord of the Rings from a hot tub was amazing! The rooms were all comfortable, the animals were all gorgeous and the fairy garden was adorable. It felt like a real hideaway, and we'd be delighted to visit again. Thank you ever so much!!

Victoria was incredibly communicative, couldn’t ask for any more. The property is clearly the family home, in a lovely area of Cardiff - conveniently located for an 8 minute train journey into the city centre.

Lisa and Andy were super friendly and made us feel right at home! Great recommendations and really helpful. Great location, 2 minute walk from the train station and so quick to get into Cardiff central with lots to do. Thoughtful details in the room, would highly recommend :)

Daniel & Jamie were fantastic hosts, quick to communicate and instructions and communication was very clear. House was fantastic and they were both very helpful. Would gladly stay here again and recommend anyone in the area to stay at this property.

Great house in the best possible location in Cardiff ideal for a long weekend/break. Sian was extremely helpful, making the arrival process extremely easy and always willing to assist with any request/question that we had. Very happy to recommend the house and host!!!

Great place for convenient access to Cardiff. Very close to railmconnection to Cardiff Central. Room was just as expected. en suite was fine.

Natalie was a great helpful host, who was very friendly and always quick to respond. The house was very clean and tidy with clean linen and towels. Big spacious front room with pool table and a lovely spacious kitchen with plenty of room to cook and eat. The hot tub was a luxury and lovely and warm, even the kids enjoyed it. Plenty to do in the area and will definitely be recommending and returning hopefully soon!

We had a lovely stay at the Heron lodge, I felt like Pocahontas! So much wildlife, had a resident Pheasant I named Hew, a mink, bats, frogs, fish so many different birds. It was beautiful. The hot tub was fantastic, the cabin was compact but didn’t feel small. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bathroom was a decent size. There was an onsite shop, the coffee machine was out of order however, one of the lovely staff made me a nice coffee for the drive home. Late check in was very easy and Owen was really responsive to messages regarding late arrival. All in all, 10/10 for a peaceful relaxing stay! Will recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you!

Had fantastic stay at the lodge, which is very much on the lake! We enjoyed amazing views both during the day, and at night watching the stars. We had a lovely day out at Cefn Mably farm, very short walk from the lodge. A great Birthday weekend!

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights, the place was spotless and well equipped. Beautiful views and lovely locals walks. Cosy local pub just a short walk away. Would 100% recommend for a quiet getaway! Thanks again Owen.

A brilliant stay with the best of both worlds as an extremely peaceful lodge but close to central Cardiff for days out. The lodge was really clean and well stocked and the hot tub was excellent! The perfect holiday!

Great place for a quiet retreat. Peaceful, lakeside cabin with a lovely hot tub. We stayed in the Grebe lodge which you can’t fish from. There are others that you can fish from if that’s what you’re after. Reception has a shop that sells all your basic needs such as tea, coffee, sugar, chocolate and beers. I would recommend if you’re arriving after hours that you bring your own tea / coffee and milk as there are none in the cabins themselves. Would recommend a stay here and we will stay here again. A really relaxing weekend in the countryside wishing earshot of Cardiff.

We loved our stay at the lodge! The cabin was clean, cozy, and very comfortable – a little hidden gem. The setting was stunning, with beautiful scenery and plenty of wildlife. We especially enjoyed seeing the terrapins and ducks every day. Such a peaceful spot. The privacy made it feel like our own little hideaway, and the hosts were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The more local area doesn’t have a tonne to offer but has everything you need, and didn’t take away from a lovely weekend away. Very highly recommended!

The photos don’t do this place justice, felt far larger and was in a beautiful spot - was awesome. We had a great time and Deborah was lovely, easy to get hold of and was extremely kind - even gave my girlfriend a bottle of wine for passing her solicitor exams. Would absolutely recommend
