Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Valdallière

Valérie’s place was exceptional! Every little detail was beautifully catered for from the quality linen to the yummy French teas and coffee pods. Valérie was the friendliest host and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and gave us so much local information and points of interest. We were sad to say goodbye. Definitely the best Airbnb we have stayed in.

From the beginning a warm welcome from Julie, and a warm feeling when entering the house. A beautiful, cozily furnished house, with all amenities. Located in a quiet, green area. Plenty of privacy, large garden where the children could play. The location of the house is convenient, to combine with trips in Normandy. Such as the landing beaches, Honfleur. We thoroughly enjoyed the house, an experience not to forget!!

Excellent stay in a quiet and beautiful place. The bedding is great. Very nice hosts. We'll be back.

This is THE MOST amazing location. Pictures do not do this place justice. It felt like we were staying in a Jane Austen novel. Christian and his wife were the sweetest, most patient and helpful hosts. The place was SPOTLESS, the atmosphere was completely idyllic. It was better than expected, we couldn't believe it when we arrived. This was the true, original kind of Airbnb experience. Personal, comfortable, local. Do not hesitate to book. We wanted to just stay and rest and hang out here for a week. Christian went above and beyond to help us when we had some issues with our car. They stopped by to say goodbye and see us off. It will be our favorite memory from our trip .

We were immediately charmed by the photos on the website, but in reality it was even better! The communication was perfect, the arrival was really warm and during the tour it was immediately clear that Philippe and Birgit do this with a lot of passion. The spacious house is not only super-clean but also hyper-completely furnished with a lot of taste: we felt right at home! It was a real pleasure to cook in this kitchen. Everything has been thought of. It is a perfect base to explore the beautiful region (Philippe and Birgit's tips are highly recommended). We were lucky that the weather was beautiful, but even in less weather it is a super cozy house. We have enjoyed XXXL. Recommended!

A “cabin” in the woods, peaceful except for the Mourning Dove mourning down the chimney and the cows lowing across the fence, every possible amenity was provided including wine, beer and cidre in the fridge and a very well -stocked bar. Bed was wonderful for nine nights and that may be a travel record. Typical European shower, enough said, didn’t try the sauna but it looked good. Lots more little niceties. However, if you require active, powerful internet and cell coverage bring your Starlink.

Very nice place. Quiet outside, except for the birds singing! Extremely well-appointed rustic interior with all the necessary amenities and comforts. We felt like we were in a very cozy Normandy cottage. Our hosts welcomed us with kindness and gave us some activity tips, even though we already had some goals. The exchanges were marked by simplicity and cordiality. There is a cottage and adjoining guest rooms and it is also a good place. We highly recommend this place.

Weather was hot when we were there but the property was thankfully cool. Also always shade somewhere to sit out. It was well equipped. As mentioned previously floor upstairs is quite creaky but that didn’t bother us. We ventured out a couple of times on the bikes to explore the nearby coast which was very good. Specially liked the coffee machine and the various pods including decaffeinated. We were disappointed that the village bakery had closed. However, there is an Intermarche just a little further that has a good bread and bakery section. We really enjoyed a quiet few days at Le Petit Pelloquin.

Ideally located accommodation with breathtaking sea views... very nice balcony and functional accommodation. we had the chance to enjoy the sunset... we'll be happy to come back... thank you

Romain Et Céline's AirBnb was a lovely little retreat in Caen. You can reach it from the train station with a 30 minute walk or you can take the tram which gets you there in about 10-15 minutes. The location is in the center of the city. It is a five minute walk to several restaurants for dinner and you are never further than 20-25 minutes walk from most of the popular tourist sites. The listing itself had all the promised amenities. There was not much sound at night so we all slept well. Three of us comfortably used the space. The internet was also able to handle all of us using it at the same time. The shower also had good water pressure and hot water. The check-in instructions were easy to follow and the check-out instructions were quite reasonable. Romain messaged to ask how our stay was going was quick to respond whenever I had questions. I had a wonderful time and would be happy to rent this AirBnb again.

We really enjoyed the apartment offered by Eva. It is very well located in the upper city, it is spacious, well equipped, nicely decorated and well ventilated even during the heatwave. Very nice little attention with some local products. We will come back with great pleasure.

It's a delightful little paradise! The apartment is snug and cozy, the garden beautiful and peaceful. I had a lot of fun during the short (or sometimes longer) chats with Guy. It's clear that he is passionate about the region and has a lot to tell about it. I had a little less contact with Jocelyn, but she is very friendly as well. To be honest, I felt a bit like staying at my grandparents, which was a nice feeling. The location is perfect. A lovely hiking trail passes right in front of the door. All the 'big sights' of Normandy are in reach within a day-trip. All in all I enjoyed my time there a lot and I definitely hope to come back another time.

The accommodation was very well located, in the heart of Honfleur and close to restaurants and shops! Also very good in hot weather because the apartment keeps cool very well :) A little extra for the private garden, which was very nice!

Cozy unique apartment with beautiful view to an old church. It is also in a beautiful shopping street with pubs and restaurants. The aparment itself has everything you need, and you get alot of value for your money. The owner answers quick and with clear instructions. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay. Very good location, very walkable with lots of restaurants and things to do right around the corner. The apartment was very nice and VERY high value. Well worth the low price we paid. Marie was an excellent host, very accommodating and friendly. I would stay here again if I came through the area!

This place was perfect for us. We had 4 families meeting together and we had the best time, so many games and toys to play with. And the pool was lively, clean and easy to use. plenty of everything you'd need in the kitchen and plenty of space to eat together as a group, inside and out. We visited beaches of Normandy and Mont St. Michel on different days during our stay which we're both full day excursions, but definitely do-able. I highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in the Normandy area. It was perfect for our group of 9—spacious, stylishly decorated, and incredibly well-equipped. The house is located in a charming Norman village not far from Bayeux and a 15 min walk from Omaha Beach, which made it a fantastic base for exploring the region. From there, we were able to visit several other beautiful towns, including Caen, Honfleur, and Étretat. The location truly allowed us to enjoy both the history and natural beauty of Normandy. The amenities were excellent: we especially loved the peaceful patio, the available bikes, and the overall cozy yet elegant feel of the home. While you do need a car to get around, the property has enough space to comfortably park two vehicles. It was a truly memorable experience, and we would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic stay in Normandy!

We stayed for a weekend with friends (12 people) at Villa Boubou where Philippe welcomed us warmly and we had a great time. Passionate about American vehicles, we were able to discuss the subject, a good time of sharing. The guardian cat of the😉😄 place is adorable and did not fail to welcome us and spend time with us. Top Amenities. Villa Boubou is a good alternative and well located for visiting museums and landing beaches. A little plus, a bakery located 50 meters away and a supermarket with its drive and gas 500 meters away. We highly recommend Villa Boubou and its hosts Karine & Plilippe. Laurence and Christophe

I had a fantastic stay. The accommodation was exactly as described – clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. From the moment I arrived, the owners made me feel right at home, with clear and friendly communication throughout my stay.

The house offered by Jules was incredible with a magnificent view a few kilometers from the beach… everything was perfect until the story of the place and the surroundings that his dad tells so well.

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.
