If you've ever dreamed of staying in a gorgeous villa, nestled high in the mountains, with incredible views of Lake Como then Villa Nina is the place for you. Claudio and Maria are incredibly kind and responsive to all inquiries - they made us feel right at home. The benefit of being further from the hustle and bustle of Varenna (approx 6-8 min drive) is that you can experience a truly local experience. I opened my window each morning to incredible views with sounds of the beautiful stream nearby. Some of the amenities (veranda, pool) are shared but this was not an issue for our family. We were able to enjoy everything on the property. The villa itself is well-appointed with everything you need for your stay. We traveled as a family of four (2 adults, 1 teenager, 1 older child) and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. We look forward to our next stay at Villa Nina!

The Best Airbnb I’ve Ever Stayed In – A Magical Experience! If I could give this place 100 stars, I would happily give 101! This Airbnb exceeded all expectations. It was even more beautiful than the photos — absolutely pristine, spotless, and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest details. The location feels like stepping into a fairytale: peaceful, magical, and right on a quiet beach. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a bottle of bubbly and water in the fridge, along with croissants, coffee, and tea. Fresh flowers brightened both the bathroom and living room, adding such a personal, elegant touch. Isa, our host, was incredibly kind and attentive. My friend has allergies to scented products, and Isa immediately removed all air fresheners and even sealed them in a bag before taking them out of the apartment. That level of care and responsiveness truly made our stay feel special. Amazing, wonderful, magical, Tranquilo . Highly recommend it – this place is unforgettable

Was in the perfect location, right in the center of downtown Milan. Duomo cathedral, shopping, restaurants, entertainment on the streets- it all was just a walk away. Saved us a lot of money on taxis and Uber. The apartment was very clean, the terrace has a beautiful view, and amenities were included such as towels, iron, washer/dryer (there was a video instructions but I could not figure out how to use). Also what I’m really happy was there is the plug adapters and an informative booklet with WiFi code, metro info, and local recommendations for food, shopping, nightlife etc. The host also provided driver accommodations to and from the airport for an additional fee, and it was worth it for the convenience and comfort. He was very responsive to any questions during our stay. When I come back I will be staying here again and recommending to all my friends and family.

Absolutely wonderful stay and amazing host. The apartment was exactly as described and the views and location were perfect. We loved sitting on the balcony, looking over the water and watching and hearing the people below. There are 2 wine bars just outside the door and also many restaurants. Alberto picked us up at the station and explained the apartment and area. Giorgio’s kindness was immeasurable. The trains had unexpectedly stopped running and he personally booked our transportation back to Milan and drove us to meet a new express bus. We could have never done this without him, as this was unpublished at the time. What a wonderful man! Varenna is a beautiful small village and there are many outstanding restaurants and things to do. Our highlight was taking a cooking class with Chef Marco, Chef’s Table, and later dining at his new restaurant, La Scarpetta. We recommend visiting the villas in town, taking the Taxi Boat to Villa Balbianello and hiking to the waterfall in Fiumelatte.

Comfortable and quiet accommodation with excellent host. Views are as pictures show and lovely to relax on small balcony. Having asthma and slight mobility problem I did struggle with the 10 minute walk, all uphill, from town to home. The only other route consisted of 97 uneven stairs, the middle section being unlit. The apartment is twenty stairs up with no handrail. Taxi fare at night was only 10 euros so not a major problem. Also the C30 bus passes at the top of the road.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Blue Boat Apartment! Es war alles perfekt. Die Wohnung war sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Silvia und Gigi haben uns herzlich empfangen und uns alles gezeigt. Auch für unsere 10 Monate alte Tochter hat alles sehr gut gepasst. Wir werden die Aussicht und den Flair sehr vermissen. This was one of our favorite apartments yet. Magical!! Pros: the view was stunning. We are active and fit so we didn't mind the steep 10 minute walk up from town to the house. We took advantage of the outdoor table for dining and drinks. We took a half day off from taking the bus to other towns to sightsee, just to relax on the sun loungers in the private side yard. Cons: The listing indicated that cooking basics like olive oil and ground pepper would be there, but they were not. My daughter and I cook at least a few full meals at every Airbnb so this what frustrating for us, especially as we had already been to the grocery store and were starting to cook when we noticed:( Note: We did alert the host about the olive oil but he did not opt to provide us with any. Stefano was wonderful in every other way so this surprised us.

Ich habe eine wundervolle Woche verbracht. Das Haus liegt am Hügel, man kann über einen Pilgerweg vorbei am Orrido/Wasserfall das Zentrum schnell erreichen.Hoch dauert es entsprechend länger. Oder man fährt mit dem Auto. Parkplatz in Tiefgarage oder an der Straße. Toller Balkon mit Sonne, Schatten und wirklich schönem Seeblick. Top sauber und bei Bedarf sehr hilfreiche Nachbarschaft.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Silvia empfangen. Der Check-in verlief sehr reibungslos. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt und gerne dort Zeit verbracht. Silvia hat uns tolle Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Das absolute Highlight ist der Balkon und der Pool. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ich habe selten eine so luxuriöse, saubere und perfekt gepflegte Unterkunft erlebt wie bei Massimo. Schon beim Betreten spürt man, mit wie viel Liebe zum Detail alles eingerichtet wurde – stilvoll, hochwertig und unglaublich gemütlich. Alles war blitzsauber, ordentlich und genau so, wie auf den Bildern – wenn nicht sogar besser! Die Privatsphäre wird absolut respektiert, und trotzdem ist Massimo jederzeit erreichbar und ein großartiger Gastgeber: herzlich, hilfsbereit und professionell. Es war ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen, Abschalten und Genießen. Ich finde kaum Worte, um auszudrücken, wie begeistert ich bin – hier stimmt einfach alles. Für mich war es nicht nur ein Aufenthalt, sondern ein echtes Erlebnis. Selbst fünf Sterne reichen kaum aus, um diese Unterkunft angemessen zu bewerten. Absolute Empfehlung – ich komme definitiv wieder!

Süßes, kleines Apartment in super Lage direkt ums Eck vom schönen Viertel Brera. Laura ist hilfsbereit, gut zu erreichen und gibt viele gute Tipps für Lokale in der Umgebung. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

The place itself is very comfortable and had everything you need. The view of lake Como is stunning and location was great. Easy walk to shops, bus and ferry station. Denis is very proactive and helped us with finding another accommodation due a mix up of dates on our behalf. Would highly recommend to stay at this lovely apartment.

Easily the best Air BnB experience I have ever had. Rosa Katherine is tremendously kind and a true super-host. My wife and I eloped in Bellagio during our time here and Rosa made sure we had all of the necessary accommodations. The place is peaceful and luxurious with breathtaking views better than the pictures. You will definitely want a vehicle - we rented a Vespa from Roberto at Varenna Vespa Rent. It was simple and allowed us to wisp in and out of all the little lake towns and ride into the mountains a bit. The bed is super comfortable and the AC worked great, we had very high temps one day and it kept up fantastically. On top of being an incredible host - Rosa Katherine was genuinely eager to make sure that we were always taken care of with a deep level of hospitality.

La casa è piccolina ma accogliente. è fornita di tutto il necessario per trascorrere in comodità un weekend o anche qualche giorno in più. Abbiamo avuto dei problemi a far funzionare la caldaia, ma Luca prontamente ci ha aiutati e questo per noi è stata un ottima cosa! dunque super consigliato!

Great, great place! And as important (more?), I great, great host! Marco is one of the truly great hosts! Location was great, place was spotless and equipped beyond expectations! I had lost my razor along the way, and to my amazement, there was an individually wrapped "shaving kit", along with other little kits of things people forget! I honestly don't recall more comfortable sleeps than my nights here! All around truly one of the best! Highly, highly recommended!

Ce séjour en famille s’est extrêmement bien passé ; nous nous sommes régalés dans le logement de Luca qui correspondait parfaitement à la description. L’atout charme : le spa et le jacuzzi avec une vue imprenable sur le lac 😍 Un grand merci aux co-hôtes Andrea et Carla pour leur gentillesse et leur réactivité dans les échanges avant, pendant et après notre séjour. Silvia’s place is perfect for a stay in Como. The location couldn’t be better — it’s walking distance to the train station, the pier, and the bus stop to Menaggio and Bellagio. The apartment is super spacious, really clean, has a super comfy bed, and is fully equipped with everything you need. The washing machine was definitely a big plus. Silvia is incredibly kind and helpful from the very beginning. We totally recommend it — book it without a second thought!

Upea asunto, jossa oli mukava viettää yhteistä aikaa. Keittiö ja terassialue soveltuvat hyvin yhteiseen oleskeluun. Ylimmältä tasanteelta hienot näkymät Milanon ylle, samoin paljusta Duomolle päin. Läheltä löytyy marketti ja metroasema pienen kävelymatkan päästä. Asunto vaikutti isommalta kuin kuvissa. Todella rauhallinen rakennus. Kodinhengetär oli ystävällinen ja antoi vinkkejä Milanossa oleskeluun. Oli luksusta, että hän kävi päivittäin siivoamassa. Laukut sai tuoda ennakkoon tai jättää uloskirjautumisen jälkeen muutamaksi tunniksi asuntoon. Tulisin uudelleen. Suosittelen!

Rolig og flott sted, leiligheten var som beskrevet i annonsen. Vi var 6 voksne som hadde ei flott uke i leiligheten med flott utsikt. Vi leide sykler fra @Bike it! Bellagio, veldig god service her også. Fint å sykle å oppleve nye steder, ferge fra Bellagio gikk til begge sidene av innsjøen og var lett tilgjengelig 😊

Absolutely incredible place. We didn’t want to leave the apartment! The view is probably the best we have ever seen. Mattie and Els are great, the flat was clean. We cooked a couple nights and sat out on the balcony enjoying the view. There’s lots of information which will help. We were able to walk down to the town using their advice through a footpath and also the free bus service is extremely helpful, especially when you’ve had a couple bottles of wine! Would definitely recommend. Thank you Mattie and Els!

I would give this place ten stars if I could! The view is amazing. The place was just like the pictures and it was nice to have a little kitchenette. Gianluca was so kind and a great host! Definitely would recommend!
