Villa holiday rentals in Uva Province

Big and delicious breakfast! The room was clean and with a beautiful view of the mountains. The owner suggested us places to visit and organized a tuk tuk to the tea factory, little Adams Peak and to the waterfall. The only thing that could be improved is the Wi-Fi connection inside the rooms.

The view from this house is priceless. We could have spent hours starring at the view. If we walk a short distance downhill, we can see the Gregory Lake. There are grocery shop at the beginning of the road. Nonetheless, this place was very peaceful as well as beautiful. We had a great stay in Nuwara Eliya.

This place was such a gem. Really beautiful location with a 270 degree view of the beautiful hills, forests and wildlife of Ella—we loved being able to watch the monkeys in the morning :) The host family is so sweet and helpful, and offered many additional services (ie restaurant, taxi). The location is also perfect, it’s an easy walk to downtown, yet slightly removed from the loud touristic area. I will absolutely recommend this spot to friends, if they visit Ella.

Great location within minutes the Holy site of Kathirgama Kathan Alayam. Nice country style home surrounded by a beautiful garden and a small pond at the entrance. Very responsive guess and dad "Lasith". An honourable mention to the home helper that was there the whole time in case we needed his assistance. He was sporting a "mullet!". The place is surrounded by lots of wildlife like a little froggy in our washroom and little harmless monkeys everywhere. We loved our stay, felt safe and felt like at home closer our holy site.

Absoutely loved the house, the location was perfect. 2 minute walk to Lake Gregory with great activities to do. Chandrakumar the housekeeper was super helpful and even had dinner prepared after our long journey on check in day. Would highly recommend.

Vi ankom med toget til byen, her blev vi hentet af Wilson (arbejdsmanden) og deres driver. Da vi kom til huset havde Mary (kokken) tilberedt fantastisk mad. Under hele opholdet følte vi os meget hjemme, her nød vi Marys mad og deres anbefalinger.

Bon emplacement à seulement 7 minutes en tuk-tuk de la gare. Le gardien est top gentil, serviable, discret. On nous a même offert un petit déjeuner pas prévu car on est resté 3 nuits et qu'on était nombreux. Merci c'était top !

Beautiful villa with gardens surrounding, clean. We had a great time with group of friends. Definitely will recommend.

If you like out of the way places with fantastic views and hospitality, this is the place for you. The property is expansive (over 100 acres) with so much to explore; waterfalls, swimming holes, hikes, gardens and views. And then there is the food, which was some of the best food we had on our trip, cooked with the freshest, local ingredients for us each meal. Anne gives you a great understanding of the food and exotic vegetables she serves and often grows herself. Great place to recharge admits our whirlwind tour and get a feel for life in this gorgeous part of Sri Lanka. Anne helped us sort out our driver situation, train tickets and had the best advise. Go to her first to help you set up anything you might need in Sri Lanka.

Nice, peaceful stay in nature ☘️

Wir haben drei Nächte (zum Neujahrswechsel) in dieser schönen Villa in Badulla verbracht. Wir wurden mit dem Jeep bis zur Unterkunft gebracht und dort sehr herzlich vom Team empfangen. Im Haupthaus befindet sich unten der Wohn- und Essbereich, wo auch das Essen (was wirklich immer lecker war) zubereitet und serviert wird. Oben waren dann unsere beiden Schlafräume, wobei eines der Zimmer sogar zwei Schlafräume hatte. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter. Alle waren wirklich sehr herzlich. Sie haben uns wie Familienmitglieder an ihren Spielen und Ritualen zur Neujahrsfeier aufgenommen und sogar unseren Kindern Geschenke überreicht. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Zu empfehlen ist auch die kleine geführte Wanderung zum Wasserfall, bei der man die Naturverbundenheit spürt. Ein perfekter Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen und Natur zu genießen. Liebe Grüße und vielen Dank an das Team, dass diesen Ort zu etwas ganz besonderen macht!

Outstanding place, surreal views and service to match! The pictures don't do it justice but trust me, you won't be disappointed! Perfect angle for sunset over the infinity pool or even dining in room. Be careful on the road in, very rocky. Loved our stay here and already planning our next trip back! Gamini deserves a gold medal, couldn't ask for a better host!

Alquilamos toda la villa , éramos Dos familias . Las habitaciones eran grandes y cómodas . Pudimos hacer uso de la piscina lo que fue un plus sobre todo viajando con niños . Tienen un restaurante allí que ofrece diversos platos . Los precios son elevados y las porciones pequeñas pero la calidad es buena . Solo aceptan efectivo y rupias . Está bastante cerca del parque nacional . Fue una buena opción viajando en familia con niños .

Nous avons passé un très bon moment … c’est un endroit unique avec une vue à couper le souffle. Nous avons déguster un merveilleux dîner que la famille nous a concocté ainsi qu’un très bon petit déjeuner où les fruits colorés et sucrés étaient savoureux … bref une belle expérience à renouveler un jour ;-)

Our stay at Croft Cottage was nothing short of amazing! The location is ideal—private, peaceful, and offering breathtaking views, yet still providing easy access to many must-visit sites. We loved being able to walk to the nearby Kovil and enjoyed a scenic drive to Horton Plains, where we were lucky enough to spot leopards. A stop at Jagro for fresh strawberries made the journey even sweeter! The house itself is spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with modern amenities, making it perfect for families. Whether you’re looking for a quiet escape or a fun board game night with loved ones, this place has it all. The staff were outstanding—polite, attentive, and always ensuring our comfort. Additionally, the host was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend Croft Cottage for anyone seeking a relaxing and memorable getaway in Little England. We can definitely see ourselves coming back to Croft Cottage again in the near future!

Kenuson villas is truly great, we realy enjoyed our time here. Although the recently builded luxery villa needs some finetuning we had a wonderful time. The host and his family make this place so special. The romantic fire dinner, planting the tree, joining us as a personal guide on a safari and the special gifts when we left. Truly special. We hope to be back one day and we are sure this place will be even greater than it is today. Thanks again!

During my stay in Nuwara Eliya, I had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel hosted by Dineve. The hospitality provided by Dineve was exceptional; he was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel itself was cozy and well-maintained, offering picturesque views of the surrounding. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after In addition to the breathtaking natural beauty and excellent hospitality, the food at the hotel in Nuwara Eliya, hosted by Dineve, was a highlight of our stay. Every meal was a culinary delight, prepared with local ingredients and bursting with flavors that we couldn't get enough of. From traditional Sri Lankan dishes like aromatic rice and curry. Each dish was crafted with care and expertise. Dineve's attention to detail extended to the dining experience, ensuring that every meal was not only delicious but also memorable part of our stay!

Eine Unterkunft mitten im Dschungel, die Lage ist perfekt – abgeschieden und ruhig, aber trotzdem in nur 20 Minuten im Zentrum. Der Host vermittelt aber auch Tuk Tuk fahrten bzw Scooter. Kaum Moskitos, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer macht. Das Frühstück war köstlich, aber das absolute Highlight war das Abendessen! Wir haben uns jeden Tag darauf gefreut – mit viel Liebe zubereitet, geschmacklich hervorragend und einfach ein Genuss. Zudem war es immer eine Freude, mit dem Gastgeber zu plaudern und spannende Einblicke zu bekommen.
