Great stay, second time in this place

Small peaceful haven by Lake Inari. The house is very functional and bright. The frozen lake view is stunning. The center of Inari is a few minutes drive away.

Geir’s place is in a wonderful location. Peaceful and set in nature beside a lake. Communication went well and nothing was a problem. We stayed in winter. It was warm and comfortable. This is a perfect place to view the Northern Lights which we saw and just relax.

We loved our stay at Jyrkis beautiful villa. It had everything one could wish for - sauna, hotpot, ice for bathing, equipment for snowhiking and cross country skiing. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights from the pool and do a barbecue at the kota. Nothing more to wish for - the stay was perfect and jyrki a very lovely host!

We had a very good time at the cabin in the woods. It is a great place to watch the Northern Lights at night! The whirlpool and sauna is really great. We had a very good time.

This place and its surroundings are simply so beautiful! As much coziness, peace and quiet as you can wish for. And still so much to do and see! We recommend a day trip to Tanamunningen / Høyholmen as well as exploration of the nature just around the cottage, snow shoes made that easy. We were a bit unlucky with the weather as can always happen but the house absolutely made up for that: great sauna, fireplace, grilling sausage outside by the fire in the snow and playing board games and simply watching the amazing landscape. We did not stay in the original accommodation we booked, but Jan Magnar offered us the use of the small house next door and it was a very good change! Between the nights spent in the tent, we were able to go to the sauna and wash our laundry. The scenery was charming and the beds were good to sleep in. Kitchen well equipped. Families with children should consider the location, as the terrace fences (presumably due to the landscape) are really low.

Thank you so much to Hannu for this beautiful warm home by Inari Lake! A true haven of peace for nature lovers. Hannu's parents nearby helped us a lot in preparing the outdoor sauna and were very kind to the welcome. We have fond memories of this place, we will return there one day for sure!

We loved the house, very hot after a very cold day. The delighted host, as soon as we told her we didn't know how the appliances worked came without thinking about it. It's totally worth the price.

The place was lovely, clean and like pictures. Antti always responded quickly and helped us with everything. The home is quiet and peaceful, we felt like home

Juhani is very friendly and kind. He answered all our questions about access and even bought additional equipment. Unfortunately the extreme climatic conditions (-30°) and a totally snowy access in the middle of the night forced us to walk in the powder, the cold also forced us to shorten our stay but this cottage is a haven of peace , perfectly located by the lake with electricity, the latter has all the necessary comforts. Thank you to Juhani for agreeing to shorten our stay and for all his kindness. In winter I recommend this accommodation to athletes to access it and people accustomed to living conditions in the heart of nature.

The cabin was clean and cosy. It is about 15 mins driveble distance – northwest of Ivalo. The cabin is in a quite and beautiful area. The location is very nice – Lake Inari view. During winter when the lake is frozen, you can even walk on the lake – directly from the pier at the cabin. Aino (host) is super helpful and very responsive to any inquiries.

We felt very comfortable from the beginning. Petteri made an effort from the moment we booked and it was very easy to get in touch with. Excursions could also be booked through him before the trip and we were able to start the trip with a good feeling. The holiday itself was a dream and the accommodation was exactly as shown in the photos. Petteri has made every effort to provide us with a unique vacation and is a very accommodating and friendly host. We couldn't have imagined it better and can only recommend this Airbnb.

Wonderful week in Saariselka, surrounded by untouched nature. Fantastic family experience in February. Numerous activities that can be done (snowmobile, husky, alpine skiing, etc.) Saariselka is the right country for a relaxing holiday.

Very nice and cozy place! Very suitable for two. The fireplace and private sauna are great! Also everything else such as dishes, cleaning products, basics food was sufficient for the first arrival. FYI: Sleeping place 3 and 4 are only separated by a privacy screen, it is not a second bedroom. We will be happy to come back!

Very nice place! The place was inviting and cozy, we found everything we needed. We were able to enjoy hiking on the frozen lake (following in the footsteps of snowmobiles!), at the edge of the forests. we crossed many reindeer which was fantastic for us. the places were punishable and very beautiful. Relatively close to Norway, we went to see the fjords. A beautiful discovery. We are very happy with our stay 🙂🙏🏻

The accommodation is definitely perfect to have a peaceful stay in the nature. Everything we need is there, we enjoyed a lot the sauna and had the chance to see northern lights! Thank you!

Marika is a responsive host that answers any questions pretty much right away. The property is perfect for a small getaway with your loved ones - warm and cozy. 10 out of 10!

Lovely place, value for money. In Utsjoki amidst the magnificent nature, great friendly hosts. the cottage has everything you need, the washing water and sauna warm up neatly with electricity, the water can be picked up from the opening in the winter. the water of the lake is drinkable and good. Gated area so wonderfully safe with a dog. This wasn't the first, and certainly not the last time at the Utsjoki cottage, our favorite place!

Fantastic wilderness cabin in a great location. We stayed during mid march and the fire stove kept us plenty warm throughout the day and night. The last logs put on the fire at night would keep the cabin above +10 C the following morning even when -16 C outside. The cabin has everything you need and then some for people who love the outdoors. Jori was always available online to give information and tips on ice fishing. We caught 3 fish on our first ever ice fishing experience. The lake can be explored on foot but snow shoes help. There is plenty to explore with other wilderness huts reachable by hiking on some of the islands. Views of the northern lights were spectacular on the lake. Remember to take plenty of water with you, particularly in winter so you don't have to collect from frozen lake. Would definitely love to come back some day.

We thoroughly enjoyed the time that we spent at Olli and Una’s cabin. The cabin is very cozy - we built fires every night that we were there with the firewood that was provided. The cabin is at the end of the road so it was very peaceful. We ate our breakfast in the cabin very day and felt that the kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable!
