We were very kindly received, the accommodation exceeded our expectations, what a cozy and cozy accommodation, everything has been thought of and was present. nice to have your own piece of garden where you can sit on your own. shops and supermarket within walking distance. Good location to start a bike ride along the Linge, the most beautiful bike ride is from the dike on the left, towards Geldermalsen, there are enough leaflets to map out a junction route. Thanks again for the good care and nice location!

The Cottage is located in this small village, on a canal, with a beautiful windmill near by. Small but charming, it has everything a couple might need for a romantic and quiet getaway. The village and near by villages are very pretty and worth exploring on a bicycle. I would definitely return one day.

We arrived on a cold wet night, Astrid was there to meet us and the accommodation was warm and welcoming. The area is very rural and peaceful ideal for cycling and walking.

After a workshop in Amsterdam, I stayed solo at Maarten's place for a few days. It was a quick (22-minute) and picturesque drive from Amsterdam, parking was easy, and the location was breathtaking. My favorite place I've ever stayed through Airbnb. Every detail had been considered; it was comfortable, clean, and cool. The church bells, the light through the windows was gorgeous, the bed was comfy, the bathtub was lovely, and the neighborhood was peaceful and walkable. There was a market a short walk away and plenty of restaurants and cafes. If you're coming to Amsterdam but want somewhere serene to recharge outside the busy city, this is *it*. There were plenty of P+R lots to leave my rental car and take the train/metro into the city. Communication from the host was clear, proactive, and responsive. Thank you for such a remarkable experience!

We stayed with Esther and Bart for an extended weekend and were absolutely thrilled! Upon arrival, we felt super comfortable right away – the apartment is cozy, very clean and furnished with great attention to detail. The location was fantastic – very quiet and in a beautiful residential area, perfect for switching off and feeling good. At the same time, everything is easily accessible, which made the stay particularly pleasant. Check-in and check-out were super flexible and totally uncomplicated. Communication with the two was also consistently pleasant and very warm and uncomplicated. The hospitality was really great. We felt welcome from the start, and overall it was one of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had. We would love to come back and can only recommend Esther and Bart's accommodation.

Mirella and Bertho are very friendly and attentive hosts. Check in and out were easy. The small room has everything you need for a short stay. There was also a good storage facility for our e-bikes. The parking space for the car right in front of the room was perfect. All agreements with the hosts worked out great. We felt very comfortable and will be back for sure

We absolutely loved our stay in Schalkwijk. It was so easy to get to Utrecht, only about 20 minutes by car, which was perfect. The village of Schalkwijk itself is super cute, we really enjoyed the local feel. And our son made good use of the trampoline in the garden - definitely a big hit! Astrid, our host, was just wonderful. So friendly and welcoming, and had some great local tips for us. The space itself was lovely, you could tell it had a real personal touch. We honestly loved it and would happily stay again!
