We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and fresh on arrival. We appreciated the daily cleaning and Sylvia was extremely helpful. The position of the property was private but also gave easy access to the pool and tennis courts. We really enjoyed the amazing views. We also enjoyed the location as we could walk and enjoy the surrounding area. We will definitely return to this gem!

The Kingfisher cottage was absolutely stunning. The accommodation is modern and has a stunning view of the mountains!

This unit is part of a well-established and long-popular resort in a fabulous location within the central Berg. It's an excellent base to explore the many attractions this part of the world has to offer, but the resort also offers several amenities in its own right.

Pictures do not do justice to this absolutely stunning and incredible place. From the breathtaking views to the spectacular accomodation and warm reception of the hosts is what made our weekend a most memorable and exciting time. I highly recommend this beautiful homestead to anyone who is seeking to enjoy the splendor of nature in a stunning home with incredible views. We will most definitely be returning to this amazing place. I also want to place on record that we were a little late in checking out but our host was very accommodating. A very big thank you to our hosts.

From the moment you arrive, you are met with majestic mountains. The space is well maintained and spacious. Great for families. So incredibly quiet and peaceful. Lots of local birds pop in to visit. Good hikes in the area. Pack an extra torch as the power can sometimes go out, but there is a gas stove and small backup inverter. Worth a visit!

A lovely spot in a peaceful farm setting. The cottage is homey and cosy, with beautiful furnishings. Small little gestures with which the cottage was equipped showed Lynee put thought into the place. We will hopefully return again someday. Highly recommended.

Wow what a wonderful place to stay. The home is truly a home, nice big bedrooms, en suit bathrooms and stunningly done. The garden is amazing and if you into birding you in for a treat. Situation is great, easy acess to town, coffee shop, fabulous butchery and quick drive to lovely eateries. Will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our stay, to the point where we booked an additional night. Alta is an exceptional host, very organised, helpful and responsive. The place was immaculate, well equipped and very comfortable. We loved seeing the animals close up, especially the giraffes. We would 100% recommend it.

Really great & safe stop over for our journey, so easy to find & access/lock up as we dashed off. Local restaurant within 3 min walk was ideal too. thankyou

Had a wonderful stay, and really enjoyed sitting in front of the roaring fireplace soaking up the magnificent view of the Drakensberg.

Shiloh Cottage is a lovely cottage in a truly beautiful spot with amazing views. It’s very well laid out, with excellent communal space, two downstairs bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a huge master suite upstairs with bathroom and balcony. There is loads of storage and the photos don’t do it justice. In terms of what we needed, the communal inside and outside was great and the outdoor braai area fabulous. The WiFi was mostly decent except when there was a big storm that knocked all the local area out! It’s very accessible for lots of activities and hikes from Monks Cowl. Everything is about 10-20 minutes away. Easy access to supermarkets and local eating spots, we particularly liked Dragonview Lodge for the great view and amazing food! We cannot recommend this cottage highly enough!!!!

We had an amazing stay, keeping warm with the indoor fireplace and wood provided by our host. The view is spectacular and there are nice walks around the dam. Was a very nice stay!

Such a beautiful spot with lovely views and surroundings, felt like Scotland. Comfy living with a roaring fire in the fire place and in the fire pit, so nice for chilly evenings.

The Riverbend Lodge is an amazing place to stay in Bergville. I travelled with 11 other people and we all were happy with the rooms and the state of the lodge as a whole. I recommend this for people travelling as a large group to Bergville.
