Authentic detached house full of atmosphere and equipped with every comfort. Wooden floors, a modern kitchen, a private sauna in the bathroom and 2 double bedrooms on the ground floor with excellent beds give atmosphere and luxury. Spacious living room with spacious Chesterfield sofa overlooks the Winsumerdiep. Onderdendam is a beautiful village 12 km from the city of Groningen and has a protected village view. Our 2-pers. Canadian canoe and our 3 bikes are available for rent for a reasonable price.

Since April 2022, we have been offering this characteristic property in Warffum. Take a break and enjoy the still undiscovered vast Groninger Hogeland. The house is located directly next to the medieval church on the largest wierde in the Netherlands. Many beautiful authentic villages in the area , the infinite polders and the bird(spot)rich cellars of the Wadden Sea can be admired within cycling distance. A visit to the city of Groningen and islands Schiermonnikoog and Borkum is also worthwhile!

This nice room is built in a barn and has its own private shower and toilet. Ten minutes drive from the Wadden Sea. So not a beach, but dikes with sheep on them. A few spoiled beaches and the ferry service to Borkum for real work. Wake up with cackling chickens under your window. Wood stove heat, with support of an electric heater. The price does not include breakfast. Preferably no employees, unless..... Dogs welcome for a small fee.

The tiny house is highly recommended if you appreciate peace and simplicity. Amenities are just as described. The tiny house is in a row with four others, the other guests we have experienced as very discreet and nice. Check-in is straightforward. In the house there is a basic set of dishes and cutlery, details have been missing, but on vacation that already fits... 🙂 The surroundings are very quiet, a quaint cafe is within walking distance, otherwise you can see a lot of nature, special wading birds and some sheep 🙂 highly recommended is the Lauwersmeer National Park or a day trip to Groningen.

An absolutely magical place! We were able to spend an unforgettable weekend here on the occasion of our wedding and could not have wished for a more beautiful place. Sabrina is incredibly warm and made us feel welcome from the first moment and, with her empathetic nature, helped us to have a wonderful weekend. The vacation home is a real feel-good home — lovingly furnished, very clean and with incredibly comfortable beds, in which we slept wonderfully. A special highlight: the deer, which walked quietly over the dunes in the evening and in the morning. A moment we won't forget anytime soon. We are very grateful to Sabrina for this little break in such a special atmosphere and would love to come back!

The three of us stayed in Esther's apartment for a week and felt very comfortable there. The apartment is very tastefully furnished. Everything - dishes, etc., are available in sufficient quantity and quality. There's really nothing missing. For the first day and breakfast the fridge was stocked! We were welcomed with chilled sparkling wine. We especially enjoyed the spacious kitchen-living room, which is the center of the apartment. The apartment is located in the old town of Appingedam, a very nice place and a good starting point for trips to Groningen or Leeuwarden. Highly recommend both. We highly recommend this property and Esther as a landlady.

We have completely relaxed in this wonderful place in the countryside! The view is amazing, you will see a different animal shooting by every time. It is a quiet, quiet place, but you can find the hustle and bustle in no time by going to the city of Groningen. Also definitely choose the delicious breakfast with the fresh eggs from the chickens that walk around there. In short, highly recommended!
