Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Union Parish

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Amber's river house was the perfect place for our stay. The bedrooms were comfortable and cozy. The living room was spacious and accommodated us and all the kids. Speaking of the kids,they loved the bunk beds. They enjoyed having their own space. They had a hide away at the hideaway. LOL. The patio offered an amazing view of the lake,which was only a hop skip and a jump away. I can't say enough good things. We would definitely love to stay again and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful lake getaway. Oh one last thing... the tub... OMG 😍

We go to Grambling to move our daughters in and out of college every year so we try to find nice houses to stay in while we’re there. This particular house is so beautiful. I really enjoyed the balcony to the master bedroom. It was perfect for me and my husband. I loved the way the house is designed my son liked it so much he said he wants his house made just like it. The beds were so comfortable. We had family game night with some of the games there at the house. My grandson had fun playing outside in the yard. He was all over the house. My kids enjoyed sitting on the front porch, balcony and the yard. The host Lisa was the best host we’ve had yet. She communicated very well. She even checked on us to see if we had made it safely. She had the refrigerator stocked with cold water. She left snacks out for us. We had a very warm welcoming. This home is so beautiful. The area is so peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this beautiful home and host.

James was awesome. everything we needed he had, fun place to be. very private and quiet. Great fishing, views and walking trail. if you wanna get away, I have some time to yourself as well as have fun.This is the place to be.

This was our second time to visit this house, and we loved it just as much as the first time! It was comfortable, peaceful, and had everything we needed. We had a great time.

Awesome country home. Very peaceful and clean. Beautiful farm. Super nice hosts. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The house had limited parking at the door but there was ample parking at the top of the driveway. The stairs from that parking were well lit and came right to the front door. The mattresses were some of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. Everything is as described in the listing. The only things worth noting is that the coffee pot is an old fashioned drip machine (we brought our own Keurig) and there is no toaster. We used the oven to toast bagels and bread so it wasn’t a huge issue. There were plenty of cooking implements as well as some basic spices. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful time. We spent most of our time fishing in the little pond on the property. It was so peaceful. We cannot wait to go back.

Dustin was highly responsive and understanding. I would go back to stay anytime I am back in the area.

We would definitely stay again! It looked just like the pictures! Quiet and beautiful view. I really loved the firewood was already there for fire pit, charcoal for bbq pit, and lots of other things that you don't have to buy to only stay a weekend. I didn't have many questions while there bc everything was explained well before arriving!

We were looking for an off the beaten path place to stay and that is exactly what we got! It was quiet and peaceful! The sunrise and sunset from the porch were breathtaking! The Jo was very accommodating and was great to work with! We will definitely be staying there again!

Excellent place to stay. Really clean, great location.

Beautiful sunrises, sunsets, scenery. Plenty of wildlife. Even photographed a bald eagle hunting on the river. Plenty of room inside for 3 people. Could barely even notice the creaking and waves at night. Secluded, yet close to city life. We did have a run in with some wasps, Brandon came out and sprayed for us. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves so much we didn’t want to leave!!

Well mannerd individual helped when needed , very respectful the lake view is pretty although you can’t see it in the photos .

My friends and I had been wanting to get away from town for a while and I had been wanting to go fishing, so this was the perfect spot! We spent all day fishing and after we got done, we hit up a nearby Mexican restaurant, Gonzalez, which was amazing! I liked the location of the airbnb, I felt safe and completely at home! I even caught a few fish off the dock! If you’re wanting to just unplug for a few days and reconnect with nature (but not be too far from civilization), this is the spot! Mrs. Kayla and her husband are super sweet and down to earth, they are more than happy to assist you!
