Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Union County

If you are looking for a place to host a family or small corporate gathering in peaceful surroundings, this is it: Main (lowest level) floor has smaller kitchen, but 3 bedrooms. Two large dining tables (each seating 10) are on two separate floors. This makes for good meeting space. Two large common/living areas (each with a TV) on the same two floors. Two bedrooms on third floor. Ping-pong table is in large screened-in room attached to the house with a sturdy, wide board walk. Pool table is on second floor near the larger kitchen (3 ovens) We also used supplied kayaks on Lake Norris. Large fire pit in backyard. They provided one package of laundry detergent for our two-night stay with 14 people—you must wash any used towels before you leave, which is fine and expected, we just didn’t bring detergent because usually Air BnB homes supply enough. (Vacasa responds quickly, so had we noticed, they may have supplied more) Grocery and retail 10-15 mins.

Beautiful home inside and out! Our family thoroughly enjoyed the serene lake, with the generous use of the owners paddle boards, canoe and peddle boat. We were visiting for my daughter’s graduation from LMU, an easy drive to and from campus, but allowed for a fun time being close to wineries and The Boathouse! We also appreciated the well stocked kitchen with thoughtful amenities throughout the house, making for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. We highly recommend Katie’s place, book it! You won’t regret it!!!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a weekend in Knoxville and loved it, the house was very clean and well kept with very peaceful mountain surroundings. Mayme was very friendly and helpful when we checking in while also being very responsive anytime we had questions or texted her.

We loved our stay at Margaret's lakeside home! There is a view of the lake with a deck and beautiful sunroom overlooking the lake. The deck includes both open deck and a nice covered area (convenient for shade or light rain.) The space is very cozy, welcoming, and feels quite roomy. We had 4 people in our family traveling together - including my 84 year old mother who really appreciated the bathroom setup with a grab bar in the shower. We rented a pontoon boat at the local Marina (which is within easy walking distance) and enjoyed daily walks in the Marina area. We will definitely look forward to staying here again!

Great place to stay. Clean house and beautiful scenery!

A little outdated. Didn’t know it located in a holler up a mountain (from fl had almost had heart going up it the first time). House is on a steep hill so not very toddler friendly else their used to hills. Also located in a dry county and 2 surrounding counties don’t sell alcohol on Sundays. Also a little creepy at night but beautiful during the day. Honestly I’d go back in heartbeat but without my toddler. He didn’t get to play like I thought he would. I was too nervous about him rolling down hill. But niece and nephew (8 & 11) they loved it! There’s a basketball court not even .2 miles like could see it from the backyard. Definitely come with atvs or boat for exploring!! Also seen some of the most beautiful cows 🐮 Overall trip 7 out of 10! (We had higher expectations coming from a tourist attraction town)

Michelle was very helpful and responsive. The home was cozy and comfortable . The lake access was great. The hot tub is a great feature. Plenty of outdoor seating, a nice fire pit with chairs. Check out day cleaning was simple. Great WIFI. Just a few key notes that if you’re reading reviews to stay: I should have looked at the photos better but I didn’t realize the bedrooms didn’t have ceiling fans. I need an extra fan to sleep, I live local so I just got a fan from home. Only one of the queen bedrooms had a TV. There is no full length mirror. Bring toilet paper. With 7 people by Sunday we were out , I read another review stating to bring TP, so I packed an extra roll. They have a coffee pot maker (not a Keurig) and a toaster! Lots of dishes and silverware. A few pots and pans, a few big plastic bowls and a few seasonings. I’d definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great stay.

We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful lake front home! Very spacious and clean. It was nice to have the dock for our boat and fishing. We were able to bring our miniature schnauzer but you would never know that other pets had been there, super clean! The house and kitchen were stocked with an abundance of dishes, pots/pans, spices, and things like ziplock bags, aluminum foil, and general cooking supplies. Which was super helpful! The hot tub and decks provided a relaxing experience. The community was quiet and beautiful and our kids enjoyed the pool and tennis courts. We enjoyed our time and plan to come back!

We had a great time. the highlight was when my nieces boyfriend surprised her by proposing on the dock.

One of the best stays we’ve ever had! Saying the place was clean would be an understatement. It was spotless and thoughtfully maintained. The surrounding community was peaceful, safe, and very family-oriented, which made our stay feel extra special. Kelly truly thought of everything. The home was fully stocked with all the essentials one could need, making it incredibly comfortable and convenient. Communication with Sean was outstanding. He was attentive from the very beginning, answered all our questions promptly, and kept us updated right up to our arrival and throughout our stay. We truly felt cared for and right at home. I highly recommend their "Off the Beaten Path" home away from home!!!

Really enjoyed this cabin! Had a group of friends and we all loved it, great spot, lots of local things to do and the cabin was clean, spacious, and accurately described.

This IS the place to stay when you are in the area. The house was fully equipped. The outdoor entertaining and recreation areas were exceptional and we spend most of our time outside when we weren’t sightseeing. This location is perfect for visiting Knoxville, Gatlinburg, the Smoky Mountains or the Cumberland Cap.

Chris's place was perfect for our large family gathering. Everything was clean, plenty of linens and towels. The drive to the house is absolutely beautiful. Everyone was very happy with their accommodations, the beds were very comfortable. If I am ever in the area again I will definitely look to stay at Chris' place again.

Wow! We had an amazing time at Elizabeth's place! I have a large family, and this home was able to fit all of us, as well, as my sister and dad! Everyone was so relaxed and carefree. My dad, who really does not like traveling, especially had a good time. I think one of the main reasons we had such a nice time, is because of the immaculate condition of Elizabeth's home! It was so welcoming, spacious, and cozy. We spent many cozy nights all in the upstairs living area playing instruments, dancing, watching movies, and just enjoying each other's company. Thanks for hosting us, Elizabeth!

We had a great stay! It was perfect for boating and easy access to the water. The cabin was cozy and private. We had one question about the alarm, and Teresa was very responsive, helpful, and friendly. Will definitely be staying here for our next boating trip.

Dawn and her husband were the perfect hosts. Very friendly and helpful, and we felt absolutely at home the entire time. The place is as described and with an outstanding deck and view of the lake. The Labrador Retrievers, Toby and Willy, greeted us every morning and became instant friends for our Labrador. We plan to return for another visit when we can take full advantage of boating and fishing on Norris Lake. One of our best Airbnb experiences and we can't give a higher recommendation for our hosts.

We had a nice peaceful stay here. The area feels very private. The space was clean and as described. Check-in was very easy and flexible. Only complaint is that the water has a strong sulfur smell - I know this isn’t something the host can control and is something many people are used to, but I do feel it is worth mentioning as it’s quite noticeable if you aren’t from somewhere that has this.

We stayed here for my daughter’s graduation from medical school. It took us a while to get to the place but it was beautiful. We had a few issues while we were there but Mary Beth was so accommodating and helpful with everything. She got back to me immediately and gave me several options. I cannot say enough of what a great host she was. I would highly recommend staying at any of her places! If she has a place where I am going next you better believe I will look for it! Thanks for making our trip one we won’t forget. If you need a place, pick this one for sure! Enjoy the view!!

This floating house was so peaceful and awesome and clean & comfy. The bathroom and shower were big and spacious and CLEAN. The kitchen was very well stocked with lots of great cooking gadgets. The whole vibe of the weekend was PEACE and serenity. Loved it! Will be back. We rented the boat as well and it was great. Very big and roomy for lots of people. You do need a boat (theirs or yours) to get onto the lake house. The host couldn't have been nicer! Super accommodating and kind. Very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this for your next adventure.

My family and I had a wonderful stay 🤗 The cabin is beautiful and cozy and the view was stunning! We spent a lot of our time out on the balcony enjoying the view, walking our dogs around the area and in the living room watching movies 🎥 Only complaint is that when we arrived after driving 15hrs to get there, the cabin was unfortunately dirty. Very dusty, dirty bathrooms, bedsheets were stained and did not look or smell washed at all, trash and clothes left over from previous guests were littered on closet floors. It looked like the cleaning crew was not in the mood to do their jobs 😅 We arrived around 6pm, very tired from our trip and had to put all our bed sheets to wash and clean all the mess left behind :( Our host was kind enough to refund the cleaning fee. (Also the WiFi was VERY slow) But we did not let any of that ruin our trip so overall we had a great time! 🌟
