This apartment has such character and charm. The spacious balcony is a beautiful hang out spot in a quiet village with partial sea views. The pool and garden are really well maintained and just a couple minutes walk to the beach.

Room was right on the beach! We were treated very well and the host replied quickly when we had questions.

Host è una persona buono e molto disponibile. Siamo primi turisti, host ha portato accessori cucine tutti nuovi, frullatori, frigo. Camera è ordinato, pulito, bagno è ok! Per andare sulla spiaggia, andare piedi almeno 30 minuti, anche sere (illuminati) passeggiata.

The place is great, right in the heart of Nungwi, and it's a great chance to directly feel the local life and culture. If you're and adventurer ho likes to live like the locals, this is definitely the place for you

Great guys, two brothers. They are always ready to help. Very decent and hospitable people. Everything worked. Shower, toilet, everything was in order. There was breakfast. Tea, coffee at any time. Een waar paradijs stap je binnen begroet door David en Grace de hond. Prachtige villa’s met alles er op en er aan . Een groot zwembad met lounge ruimte en bbq . Dat alles omringt door een prachtige kleurrijke tuin. Ik weet zeker dat ik dit najaar terug om , langer genieten van dit geweldige rustgevende plekje vlakbij strand en winkeltjes, gr JK

L’appartement de loudmilla est une pure merveille : la meilleure expérience et sans doute l’un des plus beaux logements sur zanzibar . Très luxueux , avec un emplacement paradisiaque sur le sable de la sublime plage de Kiwengwa . Grâce à loudmilla et son staff adorable ( Silvia , mishi , Hassan , Abel ) nous avons passé un séjour extraordinaire que nous n’oublierons jamais . Merci encore loudmilla de nous avoir permis de séjourner à la villa sumo . J’espère qu’un jour nous pourrons revenir dans ton petit paradis ♥️♥️♥️

A gem of a place, with access to a great resort with really good facilities, all you need to relax and enjoy the paradise‘Zanzibar’. We had a wonderful three days in Kendwa, the apartment was spotless, well equipped with a great views of the sea, I have already recommended this apartment and would definitely stay there again.

very hard to find. the best is if you put feza school in to google maps. the apartment is around the corner. otherwise the apartment is very nice and clean. we also loved the pool. hope to come back one day

We stayed for 5 weeks (!) at Culture & Alessandra's place and we absolutely LOVED it. Although we booked another apartment, we were really happy with the one we got. The location is phenomenal, as it is literally less than 2 minutes walking to the beach. Yet it feels very private because the house is on a dead-end street. The apartment is simple, but fully equipped. We felt right at home. Alessandra is truly the very best and sweetest host you could wish for. She helped us a lot with renting a motorcycle, making restaurant reservations and even took us to the hospital when (unfortunately) needed. Their dog Bantu often walked with us to the beach or came to lay with us on the porch, so cozy! We did have some problems with the AC - we couldn't get the room cooler than 26 degrees and it often failed because of power cuts (a general electricity problem in Zanzibar). Funny enough, 5 weeks still felt too short, so we hope to come back and then we will definitely stay here again.

Our stay in Paje was unforgettable. Just a 7-minute walk from the beach, the home offered peace and convenience. Airport pick-up and drop-off were smooth, and every morning began with a hearty breakfast of fresh fruit, fish, milk, eggs, nuts, and sourdough. Judith, our host, was fantastic—communication was easy, and she kindly recommended a nearby hospital when our daughter fell ill. The Balinese-inspired interiors were calming and beautiful, adding a special touch to our stay. Our daughters adored the bathtub and wouldn’t stop talking about it on the way home! The bedding was pure luxury, with pillows so soft you could melt in them. My wife and I spent peaceful afternoons by the pool, truly relaxed. This place was a dream, and we’ll definitely be back!
