Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Umbilo

Lovely home away from home. Very peaceful with no traffic or other noise. Great views, and the house is spacious for indoor and outside living. Julie was very helpful, offering local recommendations, quick to respond and even gave one of our children a lift when he got dropped off and had a long walk back to the house. All in all a great spot, the wildlife around the estate was a treat and within a short drive of some great pubs and restaurants. Can thoroughly recommend.

What a Truly 5 Star experience than my wife, daughter and I had at Kerry's place. The house is truly 5 Start yet the pricing is actually very reasonable for the value One receives. Kerry is proactive in her communication, very responsive to the guests requests and is very flexible. The house is always spotless due to the very helpful and diligent cleaning team. Definitely going back there soon!

This was the second stay at Beate's place and I found it even better than the first time. The house is well kept and clean. I was Durban for the Comrades Marathon and the place was very well equipped for my needs. The location has many options for running. Beate gave me good guidance on safety and where to get specific items I needed to buy. I hope to be back soon.

This is the most thoughtful host I have ever experienced. Do not go grocery shopping without checking in first… so many items were provided. I loved how close it is to a mall but is a full on farm barn experience. I am still intrigued by the place…

I recently spent time at 125 Penzance for my mother’s 60th birthday. The venue was so pretty and comfortable. We received so much help from the caretaker Sboniso who made us feel right at home and went out of his way to help us set up tables and everything, there was no request too big for him. It’s the perfect place to host a gathering, we definitely would love to make use of the back garden next time! Thank you so much Zama for making things easy for us!

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience staying here. Nikki and Tom went above and beyond as air b&b hosts and truly made my experience amazing. When I landed in Durban, they picked me up from the airport and after learning that my luggage was stuck in Joburg, they took me to the store so that I could get some toiletries and food for the day. They were so patient and warm in every interaction that I had with them. When we lost water, they brought me a 5 liter jug and were extremely communicative any time we lost water or electricity. I was in Durban for two months and struggled to find people to travel with and they literally adopted me most weekends to hang out with them at their beach club. Regarding the air bnb itself, it was the perfect size for me. It is in the safest neighborhood with great restaurants and a bakery within walking distance! There's fiber internet and a washing machine. Loved this little cottage, love Nikki and Tom, and love Durban!!

The place is beautiful, clean and spacious. The hosts provided us with a litre of fresh milk, 2 litre of bottled water, sugar, coffee, tea and rusks. Not just sachets of coffee, enough coffee to last you for a week (if drinking it sensible). The kitchen is packed with all the amenities, including liquid dish soap and towels. The bathroom too, there’s a sponge and thick bleach to clean the bath before (for those neat freaks) and after. There’s plenty of toilet rolls too. I loved that I could sit on the patio and sip on my creamy coffee and rusks or just recharge on the beautiful petite garden. I didn’t feel claustrophobic as I normally do in a hotel room or flat. I recommend this place for its beauty, art, cleanliness, space and location (walking distance to restaurants, shops and a large park to exercise or vicariously watch). It is also very secure.

My stay wasn’t for the best of circumstances, but Kalven took the stress off by helping me book straight away. I was anxious about booking something close to family and getting my flights and needed it done quickly, he always responded quickly to my messages. The accommodation was perfect, really comfy bed, soft linen. So glad to have found an electric blanket in the cupboard when I was chilly. I was so thirsty when I arrived and there was water and cool drink in the fridge, just what I needed. My morning buddies enjoying coffee with me, the two sweetest doggies. Really a major bonus to my stay, they cheered me up in the mornings:)I would highly recommend staying here.

Exceptional Experience I had the pleasure of staying at this stunning location, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. The premises were immaculately clean, and the attention to detail was impressive. But what truly stood out was the sense of safety and security that pervaded the entire property. I felt completely at ease during my stay, which was a huge plus. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful experience. Teresa & Brian's Exclusive Beach Apartment is beautiful. The home was spotless and tastefully furnished. The area was peaceful and quite and we could relax and rest without a worry. When in the area again, we will stay at their apartment!

Yusuf’s apartment was in a great location close to everything. Short walk to beachfront, restaurants and was a well maintained place to stay. The security at the gate was friendly and welcoming, creating peace of mind.

We had an incredible stay at Ocean Dune in Umhlanga. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a thoughtful snack pack, which was such a nice touch after a long trip. The apartment was spotless, beautifully kept, and very well equipped. The highlight was definitely the view – right next to the ocean with a constant fresh breeze, it created the perfect relaxing atmosphere. Waking up to the sound and sight of the waves was pure bliss. The space was modern, super neat, and felt like a true getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, comfort, and a touch of luxury in Umhlanga!

We loved our short stay here. Dawn was helpful in providing baby equipment for our stay. It's a spacious apartment with a small garden and beautiful views of the sea. Highly recommended.

Sheena was a great host. I’ve been to a few air BnB but never received such service. Sheena provided us with not just an accommodation but peace of mind too. We really enjoyed our stay and we will surely recommend the place and should we come back to Durban we booking the place again.

Paola's nest was incredible! We did a last minute booking and she instantly confirmed. When we got there we felt like we didn't want to leave as it was only for a night. The space was clean, quiet, with a beautiful view and close to the restaurants, beach walks and nature reserve. Loved the bathtub!

Tyler’s place caters to every holiday need - from dazzling sea views to homely comforts. It had been the tastefully decorated without compromising on daily necessities. The complex and its surrounds are quiet, yet safe enough for a morning jog. Everything was just a quick drive away and what is better than falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean…

The host was amazing, very proactive and responsive. The place was stunning and peaceful, neighbours were considerate; walkable distance to a lot of restaurants. Loved it!
