Silent valley is exactly what it promises. Away from the hustle and bustle, tucked away in a little corner, it was calm, green, peaceful and beautiful. The hike to the river every morning was such a lovely trek. We never got tired of the walk up and down the river, spending the day near the water. The food every day was simple and delicious made with fresh local ingredients with much love it always hit the spot. However the best part of the whole trip was the incredible hospitality of the family. They went out of their way at every turn to make us comfortable and when my son got ill with a fever, Amit and family went out of the ay to fetch him medicines and food at all odd hours. When we left it felt like we were leaving a loved family behind and we will always remember the place with much fondness. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends who are looking get away from the hustle and bustle and looking for beautiful place where one can live simply.

We had an amazing stay here. The place was far away from the hustle bustle and was clean and well maintained.We went there with our two dogs and they too had a lovely time there.Everyone there was very helpful and responsive.But the cherry on the cake was the amazing food we had there. It was simply out of the world- so delicious- always served hot and with so much warmth and love.

This place is absolutely magical. The view is spectacular. The grounds are gorgeous- gardens and flowers everywhere. The room was very spacious and clean. We had a huge balcony with the amazing view of the mountains. I didn’t have a vehicle so we had to hire a driver from Kathgodam which was 1200 one way. There is a little town with a shop that has snacks- drinks, chips and candy but there wasn’t anywhere to get groceries. Just something to know if you don’t have a vehicle of your own. It wasn’t a problem for us because breakfast is included in the stay and then you can buy other meals and the meals were absolutely delicious. The owner also offered to get us some things from the store and bring them up so we had some fruit and things brought. Everyone was very helpful and welcoming. I would absolutely stay here again. It was worth the ride up the mountain from Kathgodam (which was about 20 minutes or so). We really loved our stay and highly suggest this place!

Wanted to spend a quiet weekend on the hills and this place couldn't have been more perfect, completely one with the nature. Getting here could be a little tricky because of the roads which are not in very good shape but once you reach here, you'll forget all your woes and Amit and his whole family would make you feel completely at home. The food is tasty, simple and homely. Amit's father is a wholesome storyteller and one could just keep on getting inspired by the great work he's doing to better the life of the people from the mountains. More power to both of you, senior Upreti and Amit. :) Would definitely plan to visit in the future.

This is by far one of the best places I have been to and definitely would want to come again for a longer time. My plan to visit was sudden but Adnan and team responded quickly so I could reach there without hassle. Leave your city spaces and come visit this amazing and serene location with such subtle and yet important messages as you walk through the property! The charm of the place is because of the wonderful senery plus the bustling biodiversity (many tress and variety of Birds chirping) What really got me intrigued to book was the way that they have thought about sustainability. The Full Form of HEAL defines it perfectly! And lastly the best part The Bathroom Wooww! Glass top and you feel nature showering on you! maybe some scope of improvement for the food, but yeaa it's all worth it (good, small light portions of food) Thanks and until next time I bring along some my people to stay!

Forest Side Farm is located in the lush greenery of Kotabagh, the location has a perfect blend of serenity and adventure with its proximity to Jim Corbett National Park and scenic views of forested hills. The peaceful rural setup with modern amenities made it ideal vacation rental for us and our friends. Multiple safaris to Jim Corbett, airport pick-up and drop was seamlessly organized by the host. The accommodations were spacious, clean, and beautifully, with a blend of rustic and modern touches. The suite, with its airy living room and comfortable bedrooms, felt like a cozy home away from home. The dining experience at the Cafe was a highlight! Every meal was freshly prepared with organic, locally sourced ingredients, and the breathtaking views of the farm and surrounding forest made each meal memorable. We all loved the Pizza and Sizzlers, served with freshly made Passion fruit and Star fruit juices. Thank you - Hemanshu and team for wonderful holiday!

Shantanu was an amazing host. This was not just a place of stay but a complete experience. Me and my friends had a beautiful full moon night trek upto to the Earth house the night we arrived thought the host suggested us to arrive a bit early since the hike is a bit steep. He and others were kind enough to help us with the luggage. We had a wonderful gourmet dinner under the moonlight continued with bonfire. The rooms were neatly spaced out with comfortable beds, the walls had beautiful handpainting while keeping the heritage alive. A true relaxing into the woods experience as its away from all the hustle and bustle of the town, a honk free stay :) The next morning I woke up to witness one of the beautiful sunrises with a breathtaking mountain view. A complementary session of Yoga with volunteer Vinodh followed by yummy Indian breakfast. If you are an animal lover like me then your stay will be elevated with the company of five beautiful paws :) who were also very happy to be part of the breathing exercise during the session. Our one regret was that we booked this place only for one night because of which we couldn't do the nearby trek some guided by the host himself. But we did get the chance to enjoy this scenic view while trekking 2kms back to our car in the day light... the only thing I would suggest is to pack light. If you ever are in Nainital I highly recommend for you to come and experience this place as this was one of mine and my friends most cherished stay in this trip.
