And Emelie is incredibly helpful and patient, if there's something you can't find or understand how it works. If you like old houses and lush gardens with many rooms, then this is the top 10! We had magical days there and it was hard to leave...

A super cute cabin that was both retro and modern. A BIG plus for all the nice interior details - you can tell that the hosts really care for their cabin. The surroundings are incredibly beautiful with lots of nice paths to discover, specially with the help of John's tips. A warm recommendation if you want to stay in the middle of Swedens nature - close to both the sea and the forest!

Highly recommend! Beautiful home and location. Lots of things to do for everyone or the perfect place to relax and just enjoy the setting. Lotta was wonderful and responsive. I hope I get the chance to come back some day.

The house is in a very quiet location right on the lake. It is spacious and equipped with everything you need. The lake is great for canoeing, skimming and fishing. Really lovely place on the Swedish west coast. The cabin is placed on top of a hill, in a cabin area, giving you a nice little view of the valley. Quiet area with a few neighbours, but we only saw a few people. Close to the cabin there are plenty of forest paths, making great running and dog walking routes. There is also a beach, as well as a more cliff-like area where we went to swim, super nice !! You don’t have to leave the area if yo are having a chill holiday. The cabin itself is very new and freshly decorated. We were surprised with how well-equipped the kitchen was, which made for lovely cooking. One note, if you are four adults, is that the bedroom with the bunk beds does not have a window you can open, making it a bit stuffy. Would be probably best for two kids. We particularly enjoyed the garden and patio, and BBQ many nights as the sun set over the garden. The place also has a trampoline, which would be a nice surprise is you have kids. Would definitely visit again

A brilliant house, with loads of space and an amazing garden. The kids loved the trampoline, pool and space to play. We loved the comfy living room, dining room with excellent views, and outdoor dining on the covered balcony. Would definitely recommend this place :)

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful house. It has everything you can ask for and is a true Swedish summer dream. The place is great for kids with lots of safe space to play for the younger ones and big space for older kids to run around. Walking distance to a small public beach which we found was a great spot for our two small boys, 1 and 3 years old. There are plenty of things to do within 20-60 min driving distance - beaches, great climbing, seaside villages, beautiful walks, shopping and Stella's playland for rainy days. Malin and Claes are wonderful hosts and was always on hand when we needed. Highly recommend!

This house and yard were as shown in the photos. It was spacious and comfortable, both inside and out, for all 8 of us to comfortably unwind and spend treasured time together. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub! The location is perfect, easily accessible, a short drive into Lysekil, and with hiking trails close by. It’s a very private property, peaceful and serene. The beds are incredibly comfortable!! It was a true gift being able to spend so much outside enjoying the beautiful Swedish summer. The hosts were GREAT and very responsive to any of our questions! We would highly recommend this property!!

Our stay on Tjörn was great! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Laban, who personally showed us the accommodation and was always available for questions. The accommodation itself was very well equipped, we lacked nothing. We liked the spacious and beautiful garden. Even if the accommodation can only be reached by car, it is ideally located to reach all parts of the island in a few minutes. Thanks a lot!

We had a really lovely 5 days at Sofia’s place. Sofia and Malcolm were incredibly friendly and welcoming and had lots of ideas and tips of where we should go and what we should see. We were made to feel right at home and our children were encouraged to use the garden and trampoline etc, while we were also encouraged to pick the plums and other produce from the garden. The flat is really centrally located on Tjörn, meaning that everything we wanted to do was an easy drive away. We loved exploring the coastline and the island and really enjoyed the flat which suited our family of four really well. Thank you Sofia and Malcolm for a really lovely stay.

We had a very nice stay at Helen's place. Helen is a very friendly and warm-hearted woman who was always approachable and took care of. The apartment is in a very nice large house with a well-kept garden. From the large terrace, you have a great view of a field, where you can also see deer and sometimes even moose. The apartment has everything you need for a few days. The location is quiet and good to explore Hunnebostrand, Smögen, Bohus Malmön, etc. (Everything maximum about 15 minutes away by car). I recommend it!

Great location, easy parking, warm and cosy!

Everything was as described, but the spiral staircase is not recommended for adults as it is very narrow to enter the upper floor "only suitable for children" Helen and her husband were very friendly and always approachable. The surroundings were great and lots of excursions nearby. We felt very comfortable.

Lovely apartment close to the water and a short distance to shopping, etc. Everything was nice and clean, and the home is highly recommended. Good communication with the landlord who responded quickly to messages.

We had two top nights in Flatö in this cottage. Pierre was very quick and helpful in his conversation, and Hans, who helped on the spot, was very nice to him. Great cottage with many sleeping places. The top was perfect for us with small children. Would love to stay again!

A dream house in the forest with great amenities and its own boat/jetty. We spent a super relaxed 2 weeks in Anna's cottage and felt very comfortable there. It is a lovingly and very modern cottage, which is mainly used privately and therefore offers a lot of warmth (memories, collectibles, pillows, blankets, pictures) and all kinds of practical equipment. We felt right at home. Anna is a great hostess. She has prepared everything nicely and is always available for any questions and tips. We spent a lot of time on the lake, collecting chanterelles and taking excursions. There are many forest dwellers - especially many different birds and rabbits coming to visit you. And even a strong northern lights we could see. Great vacation! Small note: the main road is not paved. The connection in the north (Trollhättan and Udevalla) is significantly better and it is only 2.5 km until the asphalt starts.

A wonderful vacation home! Our children especially liked the large garden with rocks. Good starting point for many excursions in the region. Highly recommended!

One of the most amazing Airbnb's we ever stayed in! :) This beautiful place really deserves its name - a true paradise! We had the most amazing time in the cabin, the whole area was built with so many lovely details, there is so much to explore. At the same time it’s a really peaceful place - perfect for recharging your batteries and escape your everyday life. The remoteness makes you feel truly connected to nature and the cabin itself is super comfortable which makes you feel at home instantly. We are super thankful that Tanja & Daniel hosted us in their little peace of heaven and would love to come back anytime :)

We stayed at Anders' cabin for five days and we were very happy with the place. It's really cozy around the cabin and wonderfully quiet. There are good beds and a lovely terrace. We can definitely recommend the place to others.

Always nice to stay in Svante's summer house - this year my husband especially appreciated the new comfortable sofa considering the football European Championship ⚽️😅 We look forward to the next visit!

The place is really beautiful and peaceful with a nice view over the sea and a charming garden. The hous is very light and comfortable and a host is very friendly and helpful. Beautiful rocky seacoast and charming forests are very close and offer many opportunities for endless walks. We are just sorry that we couldn’t stay longer. We had a winderful time!

We traveled by train and bus only and Erica and James' place is quite walking distance. Bikes are very convenient and the area is very well served by bus. We had a great stay of several nights with Erica and James, two very discreet, available and attentive people. The hot tub was very nice! We'll be back with pleasure if the opportunity arises, thank you!
