House holiday rentals in Tzummarum

We stayed with 3 adults and two toddlers and the space was completely sufficient. There was also enough board game material available on rainy days and the children still got a lot of painting utensils from Marieke. The kids were very happy about that. Outside in the garden it was very idyllic and in the summer it was certainly nice to sit outside by the pond comfortably in the evening. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. we lacked nothing. The communication with Marieke was great. She was always very accessible and proactively suggested activities. All around a very successful week :) Thank you very much for that.

We were there in June, four of us – despite the rain and colder temperatures, we were able to enjoy our stay thanks to the sauna and the heated pool, which was our highlight! We were very warmly welcomed, the accommodation is really great – we can only recommend it and will definitely come back. The adjacent forest is great for walking and Groningen and Leeuwarden are each just under 30 minutes away by car.

The house is beautifully decorated and was very clean upon our arrival. The bottle of wine and the snack basket to welcome us made us very happy. However, the location is very remote. We wanted to use the campsite facilities with our children and had to take the car every time. In addition, it is very noisy and the blackout blinds are not completely tight. All factors that do not make the stay with children quite optimal. We did not get the hot tub to temperature even after 5 hours of heating. Nevertheless, I would recommend the accommodation for couples at any time!

The dune house is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing time on Ameland. Located directly on the dunes, you can experience the nature of the island in all its facets. The house is tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a relaxed stay. Geertje is a great host and communication with her was very pleasant. We will be happy to come back and can absolutely recommend a stay dune house!

An all-round great house in the holiday de Krim. The house is in a quiet location, but also very central. The center of the park is only a few minutes' walk away, which is great with smaller children. The contact with Gerdi is very friendly and uncomplicated. We had a really nice vacation on Texel and would love to come back.

It was nice and everything is always nicer when the sun is shining but in all cases: - very nice, cozy cottage - terrace directly overlooking the pond (exciting conversations with local ducks) - very easy check-in and responsive host - superb sunset to end the day while eating on the terrace.

We had a very nice stay as a family in the very spacious house. The large living room was particularly nice, the kitchen offers everything you need. Jaap was very helpful, gave us tips and was very flexible with a late check-out. The area is wonderfully quiet and idyllic.

We had two beautiful days at the house. It is quiet. There are also two supermarkets in the village. There is a lot to do in the region. But the house also invites you to linger. Both saunas were really great. We'll be sure to recommend

There were six of us in the accommodation for a week and it was one of the best Airbnbs we've all ever been to. The accommodation is just as beautiful as in the pictures, everything is sparkling clean and the facilities are excellent. The location is of course also a dream - both the terrace in front of the entrance door and the one behind the house have a beautiful view and you can lie wonderfully by the water and relax. The trampoline with sea view is also a highlight :) The communication was great: super fast, very friendly and we got all the information in detail in advance. This accommodation really has everything in mind and we can definitely recommend it! Only if you are afraid of spiders, you should possibly think again, because in the evening there were really a lot of larger spiders on the house. But here, too, everything has been thought of, there are numerous fly screens and if you are careful when ventilating, you will still have a spider-free house :)

We had a wonderful weekend with our son (8) in Johannes' cottage. What attention has been paid to the construction and furnishing of this cottage, wonderfully how many details Johannes has managed to add, we recognized objects that our grandmother used to cook with or that were in her kitchen. The beds are comfortable, the cottage is equipped with every comfort. Bicycles are available, but you can also go many ways from here by car. We hope to come back again to see more of the area.

We had a great time in Sneek and the accommodation was just perfect for us. Plenty of space, everything you need was available and really tasteful and yet practical. The terrace and the whirlpool are special highlights and Petra spoiled us with small snacks and cold drinks on arrival. The location of the house is great, you can walk very quickly to the city center with many restaurants as well as the supermarket and yet it is quiet and we were able to sleep relaxed. We were also allowed to use the bicycles and took a small tour. All around beautiful!

A very friendly welcome in a beautiful quiet Frisian place. Living in a well-kept old Frisian house, close to the water, has I liked it very much. If you are looking for relaxation, you are in good hands in Grou.

Had a wonderful stay! Nice space, lovely beds, comfortable house: lovely beds, in the kitchen everything you need, spacious outdoor space... Great that you can walk directly into the dune area towards the sea, and discover the whole island by bike. We enjoyed it!

What a gem! Truly had a wonderful stay at Jen and Robs vacation house. We enjoyed all amenities like the sauna and the whirlpool and we’re happy to make use of the fully equipped kitchen. We were 6 grown-ups and 2 under 2s and the weather was really not good. And yet we had enough space and the close by waterpark also has an indoor playground. Definitely would recommend!

A beautiful cottage on the Dokkumer Ee. The opportunity to ride canoes and SUPs - right in front of the living room - is great. The location is very quiet, perfect for relaxing. Hagar is even more perfect! A super nice hostess, always explaining things, very helpful.

What an excellent house to stay. Very great surroundings, quiet and beautiful stargazing at nights. Close enough for travelling around Friesland and/or visiting the isles of Ameland/Schiermonnikoog. The house itself has all features you need. Great kitchen, very good beds and big badroom. Highly recommended for a stay.

We had a wonderful week. The house has all the comforts, including a very nice kitchen. The sun in the front garden was also nice, where we could have had a quiet breakfast. The location is nice and quiet, so we were really able to sleep very well. In the area we enjoyed the nature, the tranquility and the friendly people. The reception was warm and personal, even our dog Bettie received a warm welcome. All in all recommended, we will definitely come back there. Finally, I would also like to mention Dokkum, a very nice town with special shops and good restaurants. Thank you Coen and Anne (and Marianne) for this beautiful, nice week. We had a really very nice time. We really liked the cottage. The location is absolutely great and you only need 1-2 minutes to the train station, the ferry or the beach. The only small flaw is the temperature of the house on warm days. Since you sleep under the roof, it is really very warm - you should be prepared for this. Apart from that, the house was well equipped and exceeded our expectations. We would definitely come back!

We stayed there with our family from Canada, 8 adults. This was a great place to explore the province of Friesland. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely yard to relax in. Wonderful neighbourhood and easy walk to get groceries. The only negative was that one shower and one toilet weren't optimum for 8 people. required some planning.

A very stylish and tasteful old schoolhouse, equipped with everything you need. Very nice large kitchen, very well equipped. The area is quiet yet very well connected. In good weather, you can sit very nicely in the courtyard.

We enjoyed our stay and had a fantastic time in Midwolde. It was easy to start our bike tours from here. The sauna and all other amenities were outstanding! A very tasteful intererior design. The beds were so comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay!
