Holiday rentals with breakfast in Tyne and Wear

Joe is a wonderful host, friendly, helpful, welcoming & kind. He goes the extra mile, providing a variety of drinks, snacks & breakfast choices. His place is well -organized, super clean & very comfortable. The bedroom is very well-equipped, including a mini fridge. Super comfortable bed & large fluffy bath towels add to the luxurious feel of Joe's place. Joe has considered every aspect of his guest's stay, & this makes for a marvellous time in his house. I felt very safe and relaxed as a solo female traveller & will be happy to return there when I return to the Durham area.

We had a lovely stay with Judy They were very welcoming and immediately made us feel At home. Nothing was too much trouble and the attic room was beautifully furnished snd immaculately clean. Lovely comfy bed too and lovely views from our windows. The breakfast provision was excellent, we had choice of yoghurt, fresh fruit, cereals, muesli and Granola, beautiful bread toasted and croissants, fruit juice and tea or coffee. We cant praise them enough it was a very memorable stay with lovely hosts and lovely location, Please keep going for at least another year! Thank you from Gillian Steve and our dogs 😊

Can’t recommend this house enough! Myself and my friends stayed for a weekend and we had so much space! The house is in good condition, the area is peaceful and Carole was a great host. Always very helpful and responsive. We had a great time and would definitely be open to returning 😊

In every way this was satisfactory and came up to my expectations. Clean, comfortable, good value, on a quiet street but conveniently near to bus routes directly to the city centre.

Had a great stag do weekend, very much helped by this great property. There was 11 of us and had plenty of space, it’s huge! The karaoke machine is a nice addition. We made good use of the pool table, again was fantastic to have in there for a stag do. There was food available if we wanted it which was a nice touch. We brought 3 cars and parking was easy on the street. Excellent location, just a short drive into the city centre and the street it’s on feels safe. The only minor downside I could say is there being 1 bathroom between that many people, however we were aware of this beforehand and felt it didn’t detract from the experience at all - the price for everything you get is 100% worth it. Would recommend this property for anyone planning a stag / hen do. Thanks so much Richard!

A beautiful apartment. Very stylish. Parking in front of the house. The host greeted us in person - something I appreciate very much. We got recommendations for dining ( the Beaumont Hotel - very good). supermarket next door. We had 2 lovely days in Hexham.

An absolutely beautiful accommodation, comfortable & large in a glorious setting. Zoe is so friendly, unassuming & helpful. Encouraged us to wander around her lovely garden, the very old courtyard & surroundings. Her dogs & cats add to the pleasant home stay atmosphere. The breakfast supplies, tea & coffee were very generous. Zoe booked us into a nearby pub for dinner which was a good idea as they can be very busy. There are a number of things to see in nearby towns. We would have loved to have stayed for much longer & will definitely return to Zoe’s if we ever get back to the UK.

Great place to stay before doing the Great North Run. Spacious, clean and quiet flat, with parking and about 15mins walk to Metro station.

The Guest Place was a lovely place to stay, perfectly appointed (with a really comfy bed!), spotlessly clean and in a gorgeous street. Walking distance to amenities and the beach too. Ann was a great host, communicated regularly and made me feel really welcome. I hope to stay again!

Wonderful base from which to explore Newcastle. The flat is spacious, clean and well positioned, with lovely restaurants and cafes within the immediate vicinity. Christopher was immensely helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend!

Nic and Julie’s place was very homely, very tidy and everything, the kitchen, the bedrooms, was of a high quality. Julie was a very friendly and responsive host, who went above and beyond to accommodate us and help us out with anything we needed. Would’ve given 6 stars if I could have.

Perfect place to stay for Kyren. Easy walk to the site and even easier to get the market place shuttle. A little noisy in the evening but given that it's right in the centre not bad. Easy check in and good instruction on how to find the place.

I had a lovely time at Joyce’s home. She was so welcoming and helpful and I felt very comfortable all the time I was there. I was very happy with my comfortable bed, spotless bathroom and private sitting room. And Joyce provided lots of good information and advice for my exploration of Hadrian’s Wall. I really enjoyed staying in Hexham.

We were delighted with our stay at Rosie's. Rosie and Paul's helpfulness and hospitality was outstanding. The rooms where we stayed were so comfortable, spacious and clean and we had absolutely everything we could need. The meal we had at the local Italian was excellent as was Rosie's wonderful, generous breakfast. This was only a brief stay but I'd like to return and explore more of the area. Gary's place was a wonderful find - we were so fortunate that it was available for our dates. A perfect, easy base for collecting our daughter from Newcastle Uni. Gary was friendly, helpful and responsive, and it was a privilege to share his lovely, well-appointed home. The reclining sofas in the lounge were so comfy and the lovely choices for breakfast were spot-on for our tastes. One of the very nicest, friendliest Air BnBs we've stayed in. Highest of recommendations for Gary, Liz and Oscar!

Had a lovely stay with Steve & Harriet. Warm, friendly welcome in a lovely homely cottage. Bed was really comfortable, it was peaceful and the surroundings are beautiful. Steve made me a delicious breakfast in the morning too. Also worth noting that as a solo female travelling for work, I felt completely comfortable and safe in Steve’s lovely home, thank you.

Our stay at Dominic and Elaine's home was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by the kindest and friendliest hosts we’ve ever met. They truly went above and beyond with personal touches that made us feel right at home. Their attention to detail and thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed! The house itself is absolutely stunning—every corner beautifully designed and immaculately kept. We were constantly in awe of the space and comfort. But what truly made our stay memorable was the incredible breakfast they prepared. It was not only delicious but felt like it was made with such care and love. If you’re looking for a stay that feels both luxurious and warm, we cannot recommend Dominic and Elaine's place enough. We left feeling like we had made new friends, and we’ll definitely be back! Lovely stay, hosts were so welcoming and friendly and allowed us a flexible check in to suit our plans. Home is gorgeous and well located in jesmond near the metro.
