Beautifully located in the forest, peaceful and very comfortable, well equipped cabin . Easy to reach from village and basically just numerous birds and red squirrels for company. Per had recommended trips /hikes, very useful for 1st time visitors from UK and responded quickly in all communications. A gem of a cabin, thoroughly recommended.

Incredibly nice place with short distance to the ski slopes, good sledding hill behind the house for the kids and relatively good space for 7 adults and 3 kids 🤩

Fabulous stay in the woods with reindeers outside the window in the morning. the cabin had everything we needed, loved the addition of a back up fridge and flasks for hot beverages on our hikes. Perfect spot to get away. Heats up very fast with a large stove and retains the heat well. Very cosy and warm. Will definitely return.

Experience Stugudal and Sylan

We stayed at the house with our daughter and our dog for a week over Christmas. It was very nicely decorated/illuminated for Christmas and we felt right at home. In general, the accommodation is very modernly furnished and up to date (as seen on the pictures) Unfortunately, there is no internet in the accommodation, which is also evident from the listing, so you have to switch to mobile internet, which is very fast (5G). A big bonus was the fireplace and private sauna. Vegard was always quickly available for problems and questions. Nearby (1.5km) there is a really good supermarket, which is open until 11pm all week (self-service). There is also a tourist info, a gas station and a restaurant right next to the supermarket, the latter only open from Friday to Sunday. All in all a very nice week. We would come back! Think about winter tires, snow is plentiful :)

Villa Lundheim, Ålen, Trondelag

Very nice place to spend Easter weekend for our family with adult children. Well equipped kitchen and nice dining room. Large living room where everyone could gather, and small living rooms and hot tub where you could be together in smaller groups. Easy and positive communication with Brit Eva. Thumbs up!

We had a great stay in Ålen. The place was a perfect fit for those of us who would be on the slalom, as the house is so to say the slopes. And the host were really really really nice. We would love to come back 😊
