Jane and Lori were amazing hosts and the property was beautiful! It had everything we needed from kitchen supplies to beach chairs and sports equipment! The area is very secluded in nature and it was very quiet and peaceful! The house was also very clean and comfy!

Beautiful surroundings and a really cozy cottage. Everything is as advertised and the host provided clear instructions and was quick to respond to questions. The place has everything you need to spend a few relaxing days. My only regret is not staying for more days :)

Highly recommend Prince’s place! It was exactly as described, was in a great location and was extremely well equipped. Prince was super communicative and checkin/out was quite simple. Great spot for a weekend away!

James' Lakehouse was the perfect getaway. Incredibly clean, comfortable, quiet and a gorgeous location with easy access to all PEC has to offer.. The hottub with the view of the lake was the cherry on top. We'll definitely be back!

Nicole and Heather were great hosts who frequently checked in with us before, during and after our stay to make sure we had a great time. The place was as described and as shown in photos. We loved our time there and would stay again if we find ourselves in Port Hope!

spacious clean apartment with small but full kitchen, comfortable living room and comfortable king bed. a little tricky to find .. house numbers small ... and had a bit of trouble at check in .. but Barbara was very responsive to a phone call and greeted us with the key code we needed to get in. no river view as it was fall but just a short walk from house.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was immaculately clean and had absolutely everything we could possibly need. From the little touches to the overall setup, it was clear that a lot of care went into making guests feel comfortable. The environment was incredibly quiet, perfect for relaxing and getting a good night’s sleep. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and welcoming—they truly went above and beyond to help us throughout our stay. Their lightning-fast responses made communication effortless and reassuring. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, completely hassle-free. Everything was smooth from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Mary Anne and Garry were absolutely wonderful hosts. They are truly wonderful people in general- friendly, warm and welcoming. Their AirBnB exceeded expectations! It was pristinely clean and also had little details and amenities that added to the comfort of our stay (like Kleenex boxes in every room, ice was ready-made in the freezer, coffee and tea, etc). It really did have the comforts of home, which is rare these days! The Breakfasts they made were lovely and delicious. Mary Anne and Garry put so much thought into everything and that made a big difference to our stay. We look forward to returning to stay again! Thank you for making us feel at home.

We really enjoyed our stay. Place was very clean and exactly as described. Perfect for couples looking for a relaxing getaway. Loved using the BBQ and Sauna and enjoying the sun by the river sounds.

Katherine and William offered us a perfect stay at their cottage on the rapids! They were extremely accommodating and allowed us a little extra time for check out after missing a day to unplanned circumstances. Finding the place was seamless- and we checked in to a super clean place, with a sweet handwritten note and gift for us on the kitchen table :-) The water was very fast at the time of our trip so we had difficulties with the boats and did not get to paddle, so just keep that in mind at the time of booking. Fishing isn’t super great off the dock so we had to travel around to calmer areas of the river for that, but there are many. When they say there are many bugs, they mean it! Cover yourself in bug spray before you leave to help with the swarms. The cabin has a great protective curtain between the bedroom which prevents bugs from getting in. They have plenty of supplies and come by to provide extra if you request it! Overall 10/10 experience and would stay again :-)

Dan is a wonderful host and his cabin is beautiful. He greeted us upon check-in and provided us with kindling to make our campfire. The property is more beautiful and modern than the listing pictures let on. The bunk beds were large and spacious, and the view from the window is everything. Would highly recommend Dan's place!

This place was so cozy and quiet you almost not want to leave.. beds were super comfortable and all the little attentions that Margaret left behind for us were a very pleasant surprise. We explored the grounds and made it down by the lake, which is beautiful and must be great for swimming in the summer. We stayed four nights and would have stayed longer to explore the surroundings with much to discover. We highly recommend this place and we’ll definitely be back when returning to Kingston.

Our family of three spent two nights at Leah and Kevin’s cabin. The property is beautiful, private and peaceful; surrounded by forest. The cabin itself was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The wood burning stove guarantees a cozy stay. The cabin is perfectly located, everything within a short distance drive. Looking forward to coming back in the future!

We were in a dream. The place is wonderful and very peaceful. Not only we enjoyed the place, and how peaceful and private it is but the surroundings full of nature. We definitely will be back! it was a perfect get away for my family and pups.
