Holiday rentals with lake access in Tuncurry

We had a great week away with our grown up kids and partners. Plus our family dog. Everyone had a great holiday. Thanks again.

Great house, suited our needs. Very well equipped, nothing we needed to add. We were able to utilise the jetty, a boat ramp not far away. Fire pit space was great. Dogs loved it. We did keep them outside, so needed to create a run overnight as the yard is not fenced. Highly recommend. We will be back. Thank you Allan

One of the best locations of a BnB that I have ever stayed at. Helen's place was super comfortable and her communication was prompt and friendly. The place was clean and had everything we needed. I would love to come back in the summer time to take advantage of this beautiful waterfront location, but even in the winter, this stay was great! I have no hesitation in recemmending this place, we loved it!

Turtle crossing, what a beautiful serene place. We got to enjoy this charming property right after the recent heavy rains to the Mid Coast, and we were very close to cancelling, but we were oh so happy that we committed to our trip, and got the opportunity to explore this beautiful part of NSW. In the rain, in the clouds, in the fog, or in the sun, this property shines bright. There is so much to enjoy about the open space in the living areas as was in the gorgeous surrounding landscape. Very secluded setting with everything is provided. A fully stacked kitchen, generous amount of bedrooms & beds and endless games & activities makes this suitable for all families or groups wanting to escape from the hustle and bustle of normal life. Jenni & Clive are amazing hosts, and I can’t praise either of them enough for their generosity and friendliness in the buildup, during and after our stay. We will be back

What an amazing home and location. If I could give more than 5 stars for every aspect I would. The home was definitely a home away from home where everything you could imagine was stocked and provided in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas. Siting on the deck and watching the beautiful Wallis Lake view was so relaxing. The Recky Club directly across the road made dinner and drinks most nights so easy and not to mention, so cheap. I couldn't even make a meal for $12 per person - AMAZING! Julie was super responsive, accommodating and gave us some great tips and ideas for local sights, restaurants and things to do. I can not recommend this stay highly enough and would definitely love to return one day. Lisa & David

We had a lovely stay here over a mild, sunny Easter long weekend as a birthday treat. Heidi has curated all these wonderful vintage items along with other clever renovations to give an all-encompassing vintage vibe. There was attention to detail in comfort and cosines too. The bed and soft linen was so very comfy! We loved finding all the little treats generously supplied by Heidi - fresh bread, eggs from their own chicken, olive oil, a fresh chocolate coconut slice - and more! And enjoyed just sitting on the verandah having a tea overlooking the lawn towards the reserve and creek at the back. Some cute little birds flirting about in the mornings. Locally we had a great share platter lunch at a place called ‘Flow Bar’. There’s a nice estuary to have a paddle in down at Khappinghat reserve. A short drive south the beach at Black Head was nice and protected to have a dip. Would also recommend the lunch menu and gourmet deli supplies from ‘The Artisan Farmer’ (Nabiac).

Our family of 4 had the most relaxed and peaceful holiday. It was so quiet and private. We absolutely loved the pool and spent hours every day in it, playing and relaxing. Mike was friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Was a great very clean unit. Perfect position, walk to shops, kids beach, fishing, pubs. Quiet neighbourhood. Had a fabulous break and hosts were easily contactable. Liked it that much that we tacked a few extra days on our trip

We felt right at home at Cindy’s place. Very clean and tidy, and overall a really lovely place to stay. Cindy was responsive, and very easy to talk to. Highly recommend!

We stayed 2 nights at Tuncurry Lakes Resort on our road trip from Sydney to Brisbane. Our 3 and 6 year olds absolutely loved their stay - highlights were the jumping pillow, pool, and the “horsey swings”. The park was thoughtfully laid out with multiple bbqs between units and enough outdoor seating to accommodate everyone. The location was peaceful yet convenient to groceries, shops etc. Our kids have already asked when we’re holidaying there again! We’d happily recommend Siobhan’s place to anyone looking for a suitable location for a holiday, particularly for families.

Annmaree advised us when the unit was available, which was before the check-in time. This was appreciated. The unit was well appointed and very clean, views and sunsets were beautiful. Will stay again.

just a couple of noisy neighbours with loud inconsidersate music and crying child which spoilt it juts a tad.

This was the perfect Airbnb for a family holiday. The location on the river was great for the kids and a short walk to the Main Street for cafes, restaurants and ice-creams. The house had everything we could have needed and the add d board games were a real hit! We couldn’t recommend this stay more!

Cate's place was amazing. We felt at home & were more than comfortable. Cate has created the perfect escape for those seeking a place to sit & relax. You could not ask for better. We loved sitting out on the balcony watching the river. We were lucky enough to see dolphins & some lovely sunsets. Cate's home was very clean and well equipped. Thankyou Cate. Cliff was very helpful in sending through lots of suggestions of places we could visit during our stay. The accommodation is well maintained and in a very quiet area for a relaxing stay. it is also a reasonably short drive from local beaches and facilities in Forster, the lake is only a short walk down the road, and our dog was comfortable in the fully enclosed back yard. We enjoyed our time staying here.

Great place, with amazing views. Lisa's place brought our families together and helped create some fantastic memories. Neighbours are very friendly. The water view and ocean breeze was quite relaxing. We even had a friendly neighbour selling some great bananas from their garden. Very private setting where you can go for strolls whilst enjoying the view.

We spent a weekend at Ken’s place and had a great experience!! Ken was very proactive and helpful with communication and made us felt at home. He even offered early check in and late check out which we really appreciated!! The property was clean, well maintained , private and spacious. The house is right by the lake and we were lucky enough to have spotted dolphins swimming by from the window. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

located in a pristine, beautiful area of North Haven- This home was exactly how it was depicted and so much more :) there was alot to do in the area especially for families to swim and sight see. I highly recommend staying at this perfect getaway cottage!

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at sea eagle point. Great location - calm, relaxing and lot of area for boys and girls to run around.

Went away for a few nights with some friends and the accommodation was absolutely beautiful, clean and well furnished! There were plenty of books, games, outdoor furniture, BBQ, and kitchen amenities which made the trip very easy and fun. The location was so peaceful and quiet and the drives to the beaches were really pretty views of the lake passing lots of beautiful farmland. Luisa was an amazing host giving lots of local recommendations and giving very easy instructions for check in and check out. Would definitely recommend and will be 100% going back!

I had the pleasure of staying at Madhab's cottage this weekend and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The cottage offers a peaceful and private retreat, perfect for escaping the busy world. Every aspect of the accommodation was catered to ensuring comfort and tranquility. Madhab’s attention to detail and hospitality made our stay even more special. I highly recommend this charming getaway to anyone looking for a serene escape. I highly recommend him to improve his entrance instructions so someone like me fine get lost and get stuck in someone's property, that is in your address instruction. We had a wonderful stay at Annabelle’s place! It’s just a short drive to the beach—with a beautiful outlook from the house. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Annabelle was a fantastic host: warm, helpful, and full of great suggestions for local places to visit. She was also very accommodating with our checkout time, which we really appreciated. Being introduced to her lovely horses on the property was an added a special touch. Highly recommend!
