Cottage holiday rentals in Trout Lake

The home was exactly as pictured and what we were looking for. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed. It was a quick 30 minute drive up to Timberline for some snowboarding and then coming back after a long day and getting into the hot tub was perfect. The downstairs bed was super comfortable too! The smallest suggestion would be a nightlight for the room because it is super dark and I personally don’t love the pitch black but like I said, super small detail. We ended up just turning the laundry room light on and closing that door so some light peaked in. There was a binder with home expectations and clear check out instructions which I really appreciated. Raylene was super communicative before our stay and check in was super easy. Overall so amazing and perfect, I would definitely stay again!!

The location of Eva's Cottage was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. We were spending our anniversary doing multiple day hikes out of the Gorge. This little cottage nestled in the woods provided us the peace and serenity we were looking for as well as providing a local home base to return to each day. The cottage was off the beaten path so it was private. It was in the view of their lodge but didn't interfere with our privacy at all. We had a momma deer with her twin babies lingering near the cottage for us to admire and we enjoyed just sitting and watching the river.

This was the perfect way to spend a quiet weekend away! The cabin itself feels really warm and welcoming. It’s clean and up to date, yet it maintains that older cabin feel - compared to some newer designs that often feel less authentic. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. I loved the swing on the back porch and the walk leading into the woods and river. The hot tub is close enough to the river you can hear the water flowing; which was very peaceful. The tub was also a perfect temperature. We had a nice fire in the fire-pit. Right next to us we had access to hiking trails and the market for snacks and anything else we needed like firewood. I would 100% stay again and highly recommend for anyone trying to get away for a relaxing and memorable weekend! 10/10 Thanks, An!

Had a great stay at Morgan's cottage. The location is great and the surroundings are gorgeous. The cottage is cozy but plenty of space for 3-4 people for a long weekend. Excellent communication from the host. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family had a wonderful time being together, including our furry ones. Loved it being close to Mt. Hood and the Wildwood Recreation area. It was as described. Thank you for sharing your Mountain house.

We had a great stay at this property. It's just a short walk to many shops and restaurants and a very peaceful location at night. You'll have a hard time finding a better location near town for the value. Everything was as described by our host and we found him to be very friendly and responsive. As others have mentioned, it is an older home - the floor creaks, there is worn paint in a few places, and a few small holes in the ceiling where a fixture was removed, but I get the feeling the owner is making improvements. The kitchen and bathroom, while small, were very up to date and clean. Note: the internet is currently DSL, so if you need high bandwidth or to upload a bunch of data over wifi, this may not be the place for you. That said, we had no issues using wifi to web browse on our phones and steam TV on the provided Roku device. The stairs leading to the basement are something out of a horror movie, but I overcame my fear to do one load of laundry and lived to write this review :)

The Bee Cottage is very cute and quaint. The house had everything needed , and Jim was very friendly and responsive. I would definitely stay there again!

The place is excellent, featuring a well-equipped kitchen perfect for a short-term stay. Remember to keep the heater on. While the bathroom is compact, it's manageable. Be sure to have extra quarters for laundry. Parking is readily available, and there's a trail within walking distance, ideal for jogging. Note that there are no restaurants nearby, so having a car is essential, although a bus station is also nearby for trips downtown. I would definitely stay here again.

Kristen was an amazing host. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and I felt incredibly safe. The cottage was cozy and the views were breathtaking. I have never wanted to come back to a location before until now. I can’t say enough kind things about Kristen. Hands down would recommended this Airbnb to anyone looking in this area.

Laurie and Van are very nice people and the place is great. We enjoyed the peacefulness as this place is just out of the busy city and the hosts allowing access to the lake and thier dock through their space is a very nice gesture. highly recommend and we will return.

A home in paradise! Klickitat is stunning, with the house super close to the river. The setting is incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect escape. We stayed for two months, and during that time, we got to know the friendly locals at the bar and our wonderful neighbors. The home was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the king-size bed was incredibly comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and get away from the city!

Elie's cottage is beautifully furnished and includes everything you need for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay. Thoughtful touches await, such as welcoming chocolates, coffee pods, bottled water and a much-appreciated ice-cold bottle of beer! The mattress is exceptionally comfortable and the bedding and towels are sumptuous. Elie's gorgeous garden is right outside your window, and is only steps away from convenient on-street parking. In addition to an informative notebook, our host provided signage with instructions for the door lock, coffee maker, air conditioner, and other appliances. The shops and restaurants of Multnomah Village are within walking distance, and the cottage is a short drive from downtown and Portland's many attractions. We greatly appreciated Elie's hospitality and hope to stay at his cottage during our next visit to the Rose City.

Joseph’s place was exactly what we were looking for, well equipped, well located, well thought out, and we were well taken care of. Joseph is a very friendly and responsive host while at the same time not invading on your privacy at all. Definitely recommend going to the local bar within walking distance, lovely place with lovely people. Will definitely stay again next time we are in Portland!

EXCELLENT STAY!!! Home was quiet and cozy. Close to wineries and the Dalles for food and spirits. Lots of outdoor attractions in the vicinity. Great host and rate. Will stay again when in the area.

I needed a home base while visiting a family member and this spot was perfect. First, I want to affirm the location! I had easy drives to downtown and classic visitor spots, such as the Zoo and Japanese Gardens. Easy to access, the unit was equal parts charming and functional. The cheerful space had everything one might need - even a most functional workspace with a window for enjoying the sunshine. The kitchen gets an A+, too. Thanks to the weather, I was able to take advantage of the adjacent outdoor sitting area which was refreshing. I had a rental car and always secured on-street parking. I also enjoyed walking to nearby coffee shops for fun. Really can’t say enough good things about this property! A big win for AirBnB.

Lynn and family were exceedingly welcoming and accommodating. The cottage had everything we needed, and more! Quiet, clean, nice outdoor spaces for coffee and visits, great walking neighborhood, and an epic park nearby. It will definitely be our go-to home away from home in future. Thank you Lynn & co!

What a beautiful cottage! It was fully stocked with everything you could think of. It was so charming, artfully decorated inside and outside. It was very clean and so comfortable. Nick and Bay were very communicative and responsive. We loved our stay and would love to stay again.

This was my first time doing Airbnb and I’m glad I had the chance to stay at this place. Really nice and peaceful. We had a chance to do a mini bbq and it was great. Especially with the bonfire it gave it a special touch. Great place.

This space was super cozy and peaceful, perfect for a couple just trying to get away. We had wanted to try and use the outdoor space, but ended up distracted with all the fun in town. Anyway, super clear instructions for getting there and checking in and out.
