Exceptional. A home from home feeling. Absolutely the place to recharge yourself. Put the fire on, get your book out, and enjoy the wonderful view of the sea and mountains. Go to bed, open the window, feel the fresh cold sea breeze flow through the room and fall asleep with the waves hitting the rocks. No need counting sheep, your gone ZZzzz. Communication was excellent, instructions clear and super warm upon arrival. Everything you could ask for in the home. We have stayed in many places, and many have left you wishing you had packed something! NOT HERE. The small details that make you feel you have chosen the right home are important. I had my reservations over jacuzzi, but this one was perfect. Super-hot with great sea view of the mountains. Getting here was relaxed, the views are spectacular, and the roads are cleared. Great place. We stayed at 3 different places on our Tromso visit, and wish we would have booked this one longer. Location is outside of city proper, but very easy to drive into Tromso. Up to date amenities and generous host, very helpful and nice welcome. When we return to Trom, will book again!

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation! The location is perfect – close to the city and many great spots in the area. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking view: we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights right from the hot tub or the terrace – truly magical! The house is cozy and well-equipped – everything we needed was there. The two bathrooms were especially convenient and made our stay even more comfortable. Communication was excellent – always quick and reliable. Thanks to Lill Heidi’s great tips, we even got to see reindeer, which was an unforgettable experience! Thank you for the amazing hospitality – we would love to come back anytime!

Ever was perfect. The house, the surroundings. Perfect place to see the northern lights. And we were able to see a seal as well. Nice sunny days and also to experience the real winter has given the real wow feeling.

Incredible place to stay only a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the centre of Tromso, the most beautiful place I have ever stayed with breathtaking views of the mountains from the hot tub and sauna. Easy to find and park, very spacious, amazing open plan kitchen and living room. Very clean. The views from the downstairs balcony are also amazing, it was a little cold to sit out this time of year, but would be lovely for summer. Host was very responsive and brought us fresh towels after a couple of days, we loved our stay, thank you.

Well placed to radiate around Senja for a ski trip. Responsive host and listing as described. The different lounges, jacuzzi and veranda are a real plus to relax after a day of skiing. I recommend it.

We were 8 people staying in Heidi's house for a week, focused on active spending of time (skiing, skitouring, hiking, ...). It was a great time - thank you for that! The good: 1. The house is very spacious, very comfortable with 8 people. 2. The living room is just the best 3. The location of the house is very good, close to city and airport yet in nature. 4. Heidi was super responsive and kind There is some room for improvement: with this price point I would expect the kitchen equipment to be more complete (e.g., we had the feeling that there is not enough knives and they are blunt, pans are cheap and scratched, cork stuff to put hot pots on top missing...), the fireplace came without the fire iron - weird, there were no matches just an not working lighter... Also, the heating system in the house seems to be a bit insufficient: we were using the fireplace all the time - would be cool if wood was supplied. But all this can be improved. All in all we love the satay!

Quaint, quiet and beautiful!

This house was absolutely amazing in every way. Very clean and extremely comfortable. We felt like home from the first minute. Ingvar is such a friendly host and communication with him was easy. You can feel that he normally lives there, the place is so cosy. We also loved the hot tub! Since it is outside of the city the sky is really dark and we could see the northern lights from our porch on three days in a row! The kitchen is perfectly well equippec and we cooked most of our meals there. We would definitively return to Ingvars house.

Terrific base in Tromso. It's in a quiet neighborhood, which I personally prefer much more than living in the city center. The house is quite large and very well furnished, and feels very homey and warm. Loved the open plan kitchen and living room where we could prepare meals, relax, and keep an eye out from the balcony windows for signs of an aurora borealis. Hope to have a chance to come back in the future :)

We were warmly welcomed. The cabin was perfect. We watched whales and northern lights from the terrace. Despite bad weather, we felt very comfortable, we had everything we needed. Lovingly furnished and perfectly equipped. Requests were answered promptly. We say thank you for these three great days. Michaela and Stephanie We will be happy to come back!

Beate’s place is clearly a well loved family home. Perfect location overlooking Hamnnes harbour and literally skiing from the door for the Uløya mountain loop. If you in the area you couldn’t find a nicer place to stay.

Absolutely beautiful place. Much nicer than in the pictures! Large house with plenty of space and difficult bedrooms. Amazing view of the sea and nice jetty to swim and fish from. Here we will come back!

Ann-Kristin was always quick to respond to messages and prepared check-in optimally. We felt right at home. The house was clean, matched the listing and beautiful. There were plenty of ways to do things in the area and everything was easily accessible by bus. We had a wonderful stay at Tromsø and I highly recommend Ann-Kristin as a host.

Great responsive hosts. We enjoyed the comfort of their home including the entertainment room (huge TV), hot tub (prepared ahead of our arrival), and the panoramic view.

Super place and great location

Absolutely stunning location - we didn’t want to leave!… The cabin is super cosy, warm with lots of space. Really great place to relax and unwind and appreciate the gorgeous surroundings. The cabin was spotless with traditional decor and the facilities at the cabin were great (for a couple or a family) Yngve was the perfect host - always a quick response and happy to help with anything. He sent perfect instructions. It was really easy to find the cabin (40 minutes from Tromso centre) and check-in was a breeze. Yngve also helped with great recommendations of places to visit and restaurants etc We felt very safe, warm and welcome. The absolute cherry on top was the hot tub - fabulous under the stars and trees!! We would go back in a heart beat Love this place

A gem! Marius built with his hands a nest that was both clean and cozy. 30 minutes from the airport and 45 minutes from Tromsø, convenient for a stay in nature, away from the light pollution to catch the northern lights. A haven of peace finally quite easy to access by public transport, anticipating a little of the activities. Marius is very kind, responsive and helpful. It feels like he's put all his heart into his cottage! Special mention to the magical Northern Lights shows from the hot tub! Enchanter!!

I lived here in connection with work, but have kept the place in my memory to be able to come back on holiday and stay.

Fantastic stay and beautiful property. About 1 hour drive from Tromso on easy roads through amazing scenery. The house is on the beach and surrounded by good walks. It’s about 5 minutes drive from Somarroy, and 10 minutes from the ferry to Senja and a local shop selling most supplies needed.

Dear Anne, thank you very much for having us! We have stayed at Anne’s house for almost two weeks and with two different companies: first with friends and then with my husband’s parents. We had amazing time both times. The best things about the house: 1. The view is incredible. Having your first cup of coffee with this view is priceless 2. The house is right on the ski slopes. We could ski in/ski out, making it easy to go ski even for a short period of time 3. The jacuzzi is amazing. We used it sometimes during the sunset time and sometimes late at night for Aurora watching 4. You can see Auroras right from the living room and the jacuzzi is really the best for watching them since you don’t get cold 5. This is the best stocked house I have ever stayed at - it had everything. We could really feel that it’s Anne’s second home, not just a rental house Anne is great as a host as well: friendly, responsive and helpful. We felt welcome and had the best time!

Very nice listing that fits perfectly with the description. The chalet is located in an idyllic location. The sauna and jacuzzi are a real plus to enjoy the rental.
