Step-Free Hawkins Bar Home Near Trinity River

NatalieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great experience! It was located in a safe and secure area with friendly neighbors. The river access was amazing. Kitchen had great amenities. Everything was exactly as described and the photos are accurate. Great area for hiking and peaceful area. We booked white water rafting with six rivers rafting about 40 mins drive in junction city. Wood fire pizza at the haystack cafe was excellent! I do recommend packing your own pillows for the king bed. Kiddos slept on the pull out sofas. They’re young but our 11 yrs old said they weren’t the most comfortable but no biggie. Plenty of room in the great room if you wanted to pack an airbed. Lots of towels and linens. Bbq came with propane. WiFi in the house was great! The loft area has railing on the edge now vs the pic with no railing. Yard has some poison oak so just be aware when you let the kiddos roam. Overall great! We will be planning more trips back to this very home. Owners were fantastic! Very responsive!

This cabin is especialy great if you're bringing a boat. Easy driveway access and just a couple of minutes to a boat launch. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was easy to cook in, and the AC worked good.

Bear's Lair

KitRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved the design of the home, the fully stocked kitchen with many pots and pans, separate outdoor plastic dinner ware, shaded porch that looked out on the Trinity River. The dog run adjacent to the side deck was very convenient for our older dog. We could tell from the moment we stepped inside, that this home was lovingly cared for. The property is expansive and beautifully maintained. It’s very private. The construction of the house features gorgeous open beam wood ceilings. The furniture is high quality and the sofa and chairs very comfortable. We will be returning to this home for another stay. Bonus if you like smoked meat, there is a smoker with digital temp monitor, and we did a tri tip. If you’re a fisherman, this location is a paradise and we caught some large brown trout.

Bigfoot River House

GavinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My partner and I loved our stay. The space was clean and spacious. Lots of natural light and open space. We didn’t take much advantage of the deck or yard but we didn’t admire it from inside. We enjoyed a nice soak in the lovely tub after a day of hiking in the Redwoods. The kitchen space was nice and had pretty much everything we needed to cook. There were also plenty of board games and puzzles to choose from for some entertainment. Honestly we’ve been to several Airbnbs over the years and this one tops our list.

This was a perfect place to stay for a week with our mix of three small families. We used every dish in the kitchen and had everything we needed all week long. There were loads of deer to watch and so much beautiful scenery. And any time we had questions, we got super prompt responses. Will stay again!

Private Pool & Game Room: Family Weaverville Gem

VeronicaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My stay for memorial weekend was more than I could ask for. The house has plently of space it felt huge even with 10 people inside. It was a home away from home. The host was excellent any question I had they responded within minutes. I would stay at this place 100x over again. Not to mention the yard and the views were beautiful as well. You get your privacy and when you walk outside it’s almost like a Snow White movie with all the deer that come out. Over all this place is a 100/10 any it’s worth your time and efforts to check it out. My whole family and the kids felt right at home

River Front Fisher House

SarahRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Saundi was extremely welcoming and anticipated our needs even before we arrived. The place is clean, comfy, and home. l felt right at home. We came for my son's 13th birthday. He wanted to go to the Bigfoot Museum in Willow Creek which is about 15 mins from the Airbnb. I also am so grateful that I was able to bring my dogs with me who sincerely loved getting to go with us. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals with at the house. When we come back to the area we most definitely would stay there again!

Alpen Vineyard Hideaway- Entire Site to yourself

LauraRating, 5 stars10 months ago
ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! This glamping site far exceeded our expectations. The pictures don't do it justice. Everything was provided, from stacks of firewood to kitchen utensils to lighting and organization. The extra sleeping pads are extremely comfortable and the water pressure in both kitchen and bathroom is very good. We felt like we were in a hotel in nature! The place is farther out than I had expected, but it's SO WORTH THE DRIVE. And the "swimming hole" is like a natural swimming pool, but not stagnant. We went in both during the day and night, and the view of stars there is magnificent! I highly recommend this place. AAA+++

Sugarpine Cabin

RenalynRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Bonanza King Cabin is such a gem for anyone who would like to spent precious time with love ones. Janelle and her husband is very accommodating. Super clean, well organize and complete amenities. I would like to come again and bring the rest of my family here. The creek is super close few steps only and super special place to be where you can experience nature calmness and peace. There are lots of chairs , swing close to the creek plus their basketball court too. We didn’t have to drive around the area because we enjoyed just staying inside the cabin or within the resort. Our drive is well worth it. Thank you for Janelle family for making this a great place to be.

This place is awesome for those that want serene quiet surrounded by nature. Note, you are staying in a very remote place and small town. The cabin has tons of character and you can’t beat the sound or views of the Trinity River. The kids loved playing in the river bank.

Riverside Cabin 2, Sandy Bar Ranch

RoyleRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We have lots of family over the hill in the Hoopa Valley, and staying in Orleans is a quick half hour drive up river. The Klamath river in this area is special and spiritual, especially for the Karuk people and other indigenous folks that live throughout this area. If you are looking for a quiet place without electronics to disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with yourself, this remote part of northern California is for you. Be respectful. The ranch property and the areas immediately around Orleans are great, safe places to walk the river. You'll see deer, herons, osprey, trout jumping, and maybe some otters. Truly remote wilderness is a short drive away and be properly prepared when hiking the amazing trails and river access areas. If you want to see bears, head up river 10-20 miles to one of the river accesses before the sun hits the water. I saw two at Green Riffle and decided to leave instead of fly fishing for the Klamath's beautiful trout.
