Barrie and Wade were fantastic hosts. Welcoming and friendly. The apartment is very comfortable and has everything you need for a comfortable stay and more. It’s a large space. Easy to get to, close to everything. The welcoming committee “Cheeto” is adorable too. We look forward to staying here during future trips.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The home was spotlessly clean, and it's clear that the hosts put a lot of care into the decor and furnishings. It felt very intentional and comfortable. We appreciated how easily we could find everything we needed. The beautiful patio was a great spot to relax. Having a dedicated parking spot right outside was so convenient, and there is plenty of extra parking nearby. The location couldn't have been better – a short walk to downtown with fantastic restaurants, coffee shops, and a grocery store. This will definitely be our family's go-to place when we're in the area again. Highly recommend!

An absolute gem of a place to stay! Not only extremely cozy and full of charm, beds very comfortable and in a prime location with so many places in walking distance. This place was perfect for our weekend away and I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area!

I can't say enough good things about this rental. The kitchen was well equipped and super clean. There were three of us and we each had a bed including the fold out couch which was very comfortable. It was stocked with everything we needed and more. It was quiet all night and we all slept very well. A super value.

Such a great space! Everything was super clean, bed was comfortable, and you tell that Eko and Phillip put a lot of thought into making the whole experience as pleasant and easy as possible. We would definitely return next time we are in town.

We had a great stay and recommend Eric’s McKinleyville home. It was very quiet and peaceful. Beds were comfortable and everything was neat and clean when we arrived. Eric was very responsive.

The whale song house was even better than in the pictures. It was close to great restaurants, wonderful beaches and was fully equipped with anything needed for a great stay. The extra touches, like coffee left for guests, was a wonderful surprise. The host was very responsive, communicative, and excellent to work with. What a cute place! The decor is so cheerful and inviting. We felt right at home while in town to see the redwoods. This place is a gem for those traveling with their pets. My dogs and I loved having a private side yard to stretch in between adventures. Very friendly and proactive hosts! Thanks for having us!

wonderful stay. Kitchen is fully stocked with all appliances and cookware needed to cook family meals. I use both Airbnb and VRBO and have stayed at many places. This was the best place yet for making you feel you were in home!

This lovely home is a short walk. to the Manila Dunes, and is a short drive to either Eureka or Arcata. The property is clean, well stocked and quiet. The host made us feel very welcome, and provided some great local recommendations. We hope to return someday!
