This place has been a highlight of our trip. It is peaceful, comfortable, very spacious and full of character. Our hosts were amazing, friendly, full of local knowledge and very prompt answering any questions we had. Our arrival was welcoming with delicious snacks provided and a free guided tour of how to get to the best local shops. It is close to everything that you would want to see and there is a restaurant within walking distance. The outside shower is amazing, but there are also 2 indoor alternatives. Jane and Bill

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce très beau palmento. Espaces suffisants pour 3 adultes dans une maison bien pensée. Les espaces extérieurs sont un vrai plus ! Véronique, qui s'occupe du logement, est très communicante et a résolu très rapidement nos petits tracas (ampoule grillée) et à toujours répondu rapidement à mes questions avant et pendant le séjour. L'endroit est très calme et point de départ idéal pour visiter l'Etna Est Sud-Est.

Abbiamo soggiornato in 4 persone solo per una notte , Rosario e’ un uomo gentile e disponibile. La struttura e’ spaziosa , accogliente e si trova in una zona tranquilla da cui e’ possibile raggiungere, in breve tempo , il rifugio sapienza per chi volesse fare un’escursione sul Vulcano. Consigliata.

The villa was above and beyond what we imagined! The pictures do not do it justice! The hosts went above and beyond to welcome us into their own, helping us with every need and question. The included breakfasts were fantastic and we had the villa owner cook for us one night served by the pool and it was by far one of the best meals we had in all of Italy. The pool was such a special treat each evening after our day visiting Mt Etna (super close to access) or around town. We would highly recommend this place as it’s spacious (we had 8 and there was extra room) and the hosts really went above and beyond to help us with every need! The only downside we had was that we only stayed for 2 nights! We will return to Sicily just to stay at this villa again! Va bene! Grazie mille!

One of the loveliest things about good Airbnbs is when the people who own the venue take so much time and interest in greeting you at the property as did Maria Anna and Fabio. This is a beautifully laid out and presented house with all mod cons, clean and spacious in a small town in the foothills of Mount Etna. Pedara is not the prettiest of towns but this house is a great place to come back to after a day of exploring in the area. One quirk about the property is that the kitchen is separate from the bedrooms and bathrooms so you have to go out of the house to access the kitchen at the back but that is not a big deal, nor does it detract from the fact that it is a truly lovely place to stay owned and managed by some really lovely people. Das Haus liegt am Füße des Ätnas mit Blick auf den Vulkan und das Meer. Der große Garten mit Zitronen- und Orangenbäumen hat einen schönen Pool, der allerdings renoviert werden sollte, da die Mosaik-Fliesen ziemlich ausgebrochen sind. Das Haus ist ideal für eine große Familie mit 3 Doppel Schlafzimmern und 3 Bädern dazu noch 1 Einzelzimmer und ein Kinderzimmer. Es gab genügend frische Handtücher und extra Pool- Handtücher, saubere Bettwäsche, reichlich Gläser und Geschirr. Die Küche war gut bestückt, manche Teile nicht auf dem neuesten Stand. Die Einrichtung besteht aus alten italienischen Möbeln, dazu Ikea Kleinteilen. Das historische Haus ist ganz typisch für die Region, der bauliche Zustand ist für Mitteleuropäer grenzwertig. Schön ist der Essplatz im Garten unter dem großen Schirm. Ein Koch kann gebucht werden, das war super! Leider befindet sich eine Event Location in direkter Nähe, die sehr laute Musik bis 2 Uhr hat uns sehr gestört. Trotzdem hatten wir eine schöne Zeit!

Die Villa bietet alles, was man für einen unvergesslichen Urlaub mit Freunden braucht. Die Ausstattung ist wie auf den Fotos. Ob Entspannt mit einem Kaffee im Sonnenaufgang am Pool oder einem gemütlichen Grillabend, die Villa hat so viele Möglichkeiten und mit einem Mietwagen kann man die Insel super leicht erkunden. Wir können es nur empfehlen!

This was our first visit to Sicily. We were a group of 8 with 3 families. We had plenty of space & privacy. The home is truly as beautiful as the photos & is like a step back in time. Maria is an amazing artist who added her special touches all over the home This was Francesco’s grandfathers home built in the late 1800’s. The backyard overlooks the town below & the ocean w Mt Etna on the other side. Magnificent! The added bonus of Rosaria’s services made us feel incredibly pampered. Her services are an additional fee but are very well worth it. She cooked 2 amazing meals for us (her chicken cacciatore is the absolute best!). She also helped secure a restaurant reservation & transportation. Note that a driver or rental car is a must. Unless you are fluent in Italian you will need translation apps. Truly a lifesaver as Sicilians often do not speak English. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever fortunate enough to visit the beautiful island of Sicily.

The property is in easy access of shops, restaurants and site seeing such as Taormina and Mt Etna. The villa is set in beautiful and immaculately maintained grounds. Giuseppe has very green fingers and the tree ferns and palm trees are magnificent. There is also a really lovely pool which is a great size and very deep one end. It is also spectacularly clean - you will never swim in a cleaner pool. Giuseppe and Giulia are charming and attentive hosts. We were very appreciative of them taking time to show us around the area, the shops and local restaurants - this was super helpful and enabled us to start our holiday straight away! Our hosts were always willing to help out and brought wonderful treats for us the try out throughout our stay. They could not have been more welcoming. The villa has lots of outdoor space which is very well lit at night making cooking and eating outside a real pleasure. We had a very relaxing holiday.

My family and I stayed at Villa Vittorianna for a week in June. The property is beautiful, with panoramic views of Giardini Naxos, the Adriatic Sea + Taormina (from the pool) and Mt. Etna (from the rooftop deck). The surrounding neighborhood had easy access to many excellent restaurants, cafes and beach clubs. Emanuele was a great host and Oli, the local property manager was extremely friendly and responsive. I recommend this stay for anyone looking for a luxurious beach getaway in Sicily. We will remember this week for years to come.

Beautiful villa, spacious outdoor area, saltwater pool was fantastic. Fully equipped kitchen and BBQ area. Very clean and well presented throughout. Communication with host was faultless, all questions and calls were answered promptly. Villa was very private, we hired a car but Uber was very reliable and good value. Local restaurant Blue Ice was very good. Highlight was visiting nearby Taormina both on an evening and during the day. I would most certainly recommend Villa Flara and the beautiful island of Sicily. 🍋💕

A great home away from home for the Christmas Holiday. The kitchen was amazing and allowed for us to make all our traditional Christmas dishes. Furthermore, the living room was cozy. The couch was perfect and allowed multiple people to curl up and watch Christmas movies. Additionally, the gaming room provided much needed space for board games, karaoke, puzzles, and reading. The house was immaculate, and our host was absolutely wonderful. We showed up late the first evening and our host made traditional Sicilian delicacies for us to eat. The arancini were delicious. I would 100% come back, especially in the summer so I can enjoy their beautiful pool. 100% recommend.

We encountered hosts + villa we can honestly say—-amazing + even more than we expected! Louisa + Chiara were so wonderful + accommodating, suggesting local activities + restaurants, booking our wish list + providing great advice. The villa is absolutely beautiful, spacious + decorated with the most eclectic artwork. There is A/C in the two bedrooms for comfortable sleeping and numerous porches and balconies to sit and have a meal or cooling drink in the afternoon. The views are lovely + we enjoyed breakfast daily on the porch off our bedroom overlooking Taormina. It is about a 7 minute walk down the hillside to the center of town. You will really appreciate your private retreat of Villa Britannia after a busy day in town or the beach! There is also a large gourmet kitchen stocked with all you need if you love to “cook at home”. Louisa provided us with eggs, milk , cold bottles of water + bread on arrival which was very sweet. This is perfect for couples, families or bride and groom. ❤️

Our group of 4 couples thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mara's house. There was plenty of room for all of us and the outdoor spaces were truly amazing. The kitchen is on the small side but we had no problems cooking meals for eight. We took the short drive into Santa Venerina for groceries and a couple of meals. The streets were not as narrow as some Italian villages. The best part of the stay was Mara herself! She is so helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Sonia was extremely helpful and attentive. The villa is absolutely beautiful and has plenty of great space where everyone can relax. Views of Etna and the ocean! Very safe gated community and peaceful. Riposto is a great spot to enjoy on its own (marina, fish market, beaches) or to easily get to Taormina, Etna, Catania, Siricusa/Ortigia. Sonia will help you with advice on local activities, questions/tips about your plans, or will plan things for you. We were here on a family trip (2 adults and young teenagers) and couldn't have been more pleased.

Lovely house tucked away behind the bustling main street in beautiful Taormina. It is very close to a number of restaurants and eateries, yet is private and peaceful. Livio was a very attentive host, giving us many excellent recommendations and offering us the opportunity to leave our bags at the house to fit in with our arrival and departure. Highly recommend!

NYDELIG sted med masse plass og velstelt uteområde. Alfredo, sønnen til Salvatore, svarer alltid raskt og snakker godt engelsk. Fikk gode tips til ting å gjøre og til og med klassisk Siciliansk kjeks levert på døra på initiativ fra Alfredo - proaktivt og vennlig. Vi følte oss veldig hjemme og godt ivaretatt. Eneste ulempen ved beliggenheten er at det er relativt langt til både kafé og restauranter, men man får til gjengjeld et rolig og landlig område. Fem minutter med bil til stort supermarked som er åpent alle dager. Noe eget med et privat basseng med god plass rundt og utsikt til Etna, samt sjøgløtt mot havet den andre retningen. Fantastisk sted.

We had a fabulous stay at this lovely villa. Lella met us upon our arrival and had taken care to get the supplies we had requested. She sent us a short video on how to find the shortcut down the hill to town, which was easy to follow (be prepared for 130 steps), along with restaurant recommendations. The plunge pool was a godsend in the heat. We had a great time.

Ignazio et son epouse sont tres chaleureux, disponibles et en même temps discrets. Nous avons pu profiter de cette jolie maison avec une vue magnifique, l'espace jardin, le barbecue et pour la surprise, la piscine! Merci à vous deux.

Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön - wir fanden sie sogar noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Die Straße ist zwar holprig und mit Schlaglöchern, aber für normale Autos kein Problem. Das ist es auf jeden Wert, da die Unterkunft etwas ganz besonderes ist. Der Pool war toll und alles super gepflegt. Maria war bei Fragen super erreichbar. Es war ein toller Aufenthalt und die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen.

This place is a dream! It really is beyond beautiful. A traditional Sicilian villa, which has been lovingly taken care of and feels like a family treasure. The garden is incredible, with lots of beautiful flowers and fruit trees, and potted plants all along the walls and balcony. And the views are amazing! From the kitchen and the upstairs terrace you can see the Etna, but from all of the windows the sights are just beautiful. Giovanni is the best host, very friendly and has lots of great recommendations for the area, for sightseeing and food 🥰 I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Un angolo di magia tra le colline siciliane Abbiamo soggiornato in questo AirBnb incantato e ne siamo rimasti profondamente affascinati. Il consiglio è di arrivare prima del calare della sera: il GPS suggerisce strade molto strette, che possono mettere un po’ in apprensione, ma seguendo le indicazioni di Cinzia si raggiunge il luogo in tutta serenità. Ne vale davvero la pena! Il luogo è semplicemente magico, curato nei minimi dettagli, immerso nella bellezza selvaggia e autentica della natura. Ogni angolo racconta una storia, ogni dettaglio trasmette amore e attenzione. Durante la notte, abbiamo assistito allo spettacolo suggestivo delle luci dell’Etna che brillavano dietro la collina: un’esperienza che ci ha lasciato senza parole. Come insegnante di yoga, posso dire che è anche un luogo perfetto per organizzare ritiri: silenzio, bellezza e ispirazione si fondono in un’armonia che nutre l’anima. Grazie di cuore per questa esperienza così speciale.

It would take more than five stars to do right to our experience with Villa Artemis. So far we always had good experiences with the accomedations we booked via AirBnB, but Villa Artemis totally exceeded our already high expectations. It was simply perfect. The house is spacious, tastefully decorated, and with no less than two living/dining rooms and two bathrooms. Outside the house there is are plenty of places to sit and relax with wonderfull views on both the sea and the Etna. The house is clean and well equiped. Everything you need for a great and carefree holliday is there. This review wouldn't be complete however if I didn't mention the family that hosts the place. Francesco, Giovanna, Antionio and Valeria were very kind, always willing to assist. They helped us out more than once. We are really happy to have met them, and hope to meet again.
