Holiday rentals in Touws River

This place is a true gem – it is peaceful, relaxing, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our dogs also had the best time playing in the dam and exploring the spacious garden. It is a place that stays in your heart forever. We can't wait to be back soon.

Had a lovely stay in the cottage. You are really out in the middle of nowhere, it is quite peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views around and the stars at night were spectacular. The included game drive was great! We saw giraffes, springbok, wildebeast and some antelope on the drive. We also saw zebras while driving on our way out. The bathtub was massive. Nice towels and robes as well. We used the pizza oven and braai and enjoyed the semi catered package. Note - there were a fair amount of flies in and around the cottage and they were quite annoying but bugs were expected with the remote location. I recommend taking a SUV vs a car when driving there.

What a wonderful unexpected stay. Perfectly located with breathtaking surroundings/ well planned house with everything and more you could possibly need. Probably one if the best (if not the best) air bnb’s we have ever stayed at! Will definitely be back again, if i could give you 10 starts, I would! Thank you

As soon as Nicolette walked my wife and I through the house, we instantly both stated that the photos don't do the place justice - it's incredibly beautiful! Lots of sitting spots at the dining table, by the braai and in the lounge, together with the high ceilings gave the home a very luxurious feel to it. In the kitchen, you could find anything from crockery to cutlery, cleaning material, some condiments - it was a fully packed and lovely kitchen area. The fireplace by the lounge was our favourite spot in the evenings, laying on the large leather couches with all streaming services on the TV was a nice touch. During the day, we strolled to the dam to enjoy the beautiful scenery - just be careful of the weird thorn thingies that stick to you/clothing. We can't see enough good things about the place - definitely a top spot for us! Also, enough wood for days! :) Thank you Magteld and Nicolette!

Wow!!!! It was so peaceful at Lily Pond. Watching and listening to the birds swimming in the pond. Saw the cutest mongoose too!! I love how well thought out the accommodation and amenities are. For example: the kitchen was very well equipped, wood was provided, loved the fireplace inside below the tv, aircon/heater in the room, stunning bath outside with rose petals and a candle, sun loungers and a comfy couch outside, a table in and outside, books, netflix, kayaks to go in the pond, place was spacious and the place is made for nice and not so nice weather, if it’s raining you can happily be inside admiring the view. Place was very clean, I was so impressed. Hildegard was a great host and I loved the staff that showed me the way to the accommodation, they were lovely smiley ladies. There’s probably more that I’m missing but wow, I’ll definitely be back to this little piece of paradise. I didn’t want to leave. Side note: I was a sole lady traveler and I felt safe on my own.

The views of the lake was breathtaking, waking up to the peaceful environment was everything, beautiful place to unwind and reset. The hot tub with those views makes a perfect combo, spacious home with everything you need. Really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful soul-renewal stay. Well designed home with perfect views from every angle. We enjoyed morning sunrise from the stoep and loved watching the surroundings evolve as the sun moves… most amazing colours. Switch off the lights and enjoy the stars from the hot-tub. Well equipped home and many extra surprises (thank you for the welcoming gift). Thank you Willem for the efficient and friendly communication. We’d love to be back!

A beautiful place to stay at! Just like the photos and write up. Staff were super friendly when we checked in. Having the sound of a steam running nearby was magical while laying under the tree reading a book or even while nodding off to sleep. Hopefully we will be back soon!
