Cozy hostel mixed dorm, near Hakata & free wifi

장현Rating, 5 stars1 week ago
Not bad. It's a bit of a distance, and it's similar to walking to the bus. Cleanliness varies depending on the person in the same room.... I was the only one in the group who was not Western, so it was a bit difficult.

Soba noodle Homestay, feel Japanese rural life

BrianaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was a fantastic stay. We were folded right in with the family, which was very fun. The food was excellent; we enjoyed the demonstration of making our own soba. Any time we needed anything, Karin was so responsive and helpful. We especially appreciate her ability to speak English, which made everything so easy for us. Highly recommended!

Yamaberingraboro, a mountain hut rental [Room rental]

I had such an incredible time at this AirBnb. The home itself was immaculate, cozy and spacious. The location was perfectly nestled in the small town. It was secluded enough to feel like an escape, but it was also connected to supermarkets, restaurants and an easy bus-ride into the bigger city, so you always had something to do. The hosts were also responsive, kind and supportive of my adventures. Mori helped me learn how to navigate the bus, set me up with a tour guide and shared local events that were happening around me. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet, nature-filled escape in Japan. I also know with certainty that I will be back here very soon. Finally, I want to thank the hosts for this incredible stay. My experience would not have been the same without a safe and comfortable place to come home to. Thank you.

Kappa Home

I was tired of work and wanted to rest in a quiet place, so I visited. From May 4 to May 8, I stayed at Hideki and Yuko Mrs. Both of you are kind and speak good English, so it's no problem if you don't speak Japanese. There was also a dog, and it was cute. The place was wider than the pictures. The bedding, bathroom, and towels are also well maintained. Please also replace the towels with fresh ones every day. If you ask, they will also do laundry or pick up. He invited me to go with him to an event nearby, so I experienced it even though it would be like Molat if a foreigner was alone. It's just here without any tall buildings after staying in the city, so the view is open, so something makes me feel comfortable. Breakfast is prepared at the requested time for home-cooked meals. It's good to eat casually before you go out. You can go out for lunch and dinner, or buy it at the grocery store and eat it in the room. If you tell us in advance, Yuko will prepare it for you for an additional fee. It's delicious, so it's worth a try. The location can be a little disappointing, but it's a little difficult to use public transportation, and the accommodation itself is located on the outskirts, so you have to walk around. If you come to rest like me, it might be an advantage. If you tell the hosts, they lend you a bicycle or help you get around by car. There are not many street lights after sunset, so it can be a little difficult to get around without a car. I only came to one place a day and almost rested in the room. If you walk for about an hour, there is a cafe on the mountain side, but the view is considerable, so if the weather is good, you should go. If you're coming for a perfect rest, it's definitely worth a visit. The neighborhood itself is quiet, and the residents greet you well, so you can walk around pleasantly. I think I'll come back if I have to come to Ijubyeon.
