Vicky is an amazing host! Super friendly and resourceful. Her recommendations were excellent. We opted to go with Sambola Tours as she recommended them and it was worth every penny. Perfect stay for our 2 nights in Tortuguero for my boyfriend and I. We had 2 days full of activities. Vicky's place had super comfortable bed to rest after all of our tours. The room cool down super fast once we turned the AC on but it stayed pretty cool with the curtains closed. Hot water for showers is available. Close to everything: beach, harbour, and national park. Located mid town. 1 block to and from the boat taxis. This place is great for people traveling light. We each had 1 large suitcase and had just enough room but it might be a tight space for someone with more luggage or more than 2 adults. Great value and location!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit bei Rodrigo. Es ist sehr hilfsbereit, macht tolle Vorschläge für Unternehmungen, die Organisation der Bootsfahrt von La Pavona nach Tortuguero war super, wir wurden abgeholt und zur Lodge gebracht und herzlich begrüßt. Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft, direkt am Dschungel, sehr sauber, gemütlich und ruhig. Danke Rodrigo (und unseren Führer Gabriel) für die schöne Zeit. ☺️

Todo muy agradable

Ganz tolle Unterkunft, super Host. Bei Ankunft mit dem Boot wurden wir direkt empfangen und alles nötige wurde erklärt. Auf Anfragen wurde zügig geantwortet und geholfen. Sehr saubere Unterkunft mit Smart TV, Kaffeemaschine, Kühlschrank (sehr sauber) und tollem Badezimmer. Sehr gemütliches Bett mit Blick auf die Lagune. Morgens (5.30 Uhr) kann man Brüllaffen hören. Die Unterkunft ist ca. 15 min vom Zentrum entfernt, der Weg ist sehr intuitiv zu finden. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert und toller Gastgeber 👍👍

Die Unterkunft war neu, sauber und gut eingerichtet. Bei Dauerregen kann es auch lauter werden. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker man hatte auch gute Auswahlmöglichkeiten. Henry und seine Familie waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns auch bei der Abholung tatkräftig unterstützt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Gerne wieder! :)

Logement proche du centre, très propre, prise en charge parfaite des l'arrivée en bateau. Mieux que ce que nous attendions 👍

Was great. My second time staying with Henry as a host. Last time was the larger house. This time since only two of us I chose this riverfront place. Room was great. Hot water. Great AC. Big tv. Riverfront patio to watch the boats. Beach just a few steps away. Breakfast was huge and very very good beachfront. It’s a short walk from town and the boats pick you up and drop you directly at the house. Can be a bit of noise with the boats on the river. A lot of barking dogs etc. but I slept fine. The town is tiny so no matter where you stay you will hear these things.

I have stayed at many Airbnb’s in multiple countries. This place was the most lovingly-created. Truly a fun little “park” to enjoy in the “jungle”: Can’t wait to go back.

Alojamiento ideal para quedarse en viajes largos y a medio camino. Las instalaciones son muy buenas y es un lugar cómodo. Cuando quisimos hacer el check in y out nos comunicamos con el anfitrión sin problema.

Un alojamiento muy lindo 100% recomendado

la atención de Jimmy fue muy buena, estaba muy atento a qué tuviéramos una buena experiencia, y estaba comunicado con los guías de los tours en caso de cualquier cosa. En cuanto llegamos a la Pavona, había alguien esperándonos de parte del hostal dándonos instrucciones para llegar sin problema a Tortugueros. La habitación estaba limpia y ordenada, había aire acondicionado que ayudaba a mantener fresca la habitación. Gracias Jimmy por la preocupación y la experiencia.

Tolle zuvorkommende Gastgeber, ein kleines Paradies. Die Wohnung war die am besten ausgestattete. Schade, dass wir nur so kurz da waren. Ich kann sie nur jedem ans Herz legen

Desde la entrada a la propiedad con un árbol magestuoso, todo es maravilloso; el hospedaje es excelente para descansar y salir de la rutina. Accesible en cualquier tipo de vehículo. Grethel y su esposo son personas con las que se puede tener una muy amena plática, muy accesibles y sobretodo amables. Definitivamente, volveríamos a este hospedaje ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
