Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Tórshavn

This is an excellent apartment right in the heart of the capital. Amazingly spacious and with a super responsive and flexible host.

We felt very comfortable at the place. It is a bit on the edge of the city but with the bus that stops right next door you are quickly in the city center. The apartment is superbly equipped and the hostess responded quickly to queries or other concerns. All in all, it was a nice stay and we can only recommend the accommodation. :)

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The view is amazing, no other compares. The host was very helpful, always quickly answering our questions. Quiet and peaceful location. There is a well stocked grocery store nearby. Perfectly well suited for a home base for exploration of the Faroe Islands.

The apartment was incredibly well appointed with everything you might possibly need in the kitchen, including a full array of herbs and spices. The owners were very helpful and always on hand in needed.

Overall, the cost performance is very high. Two issues, it is very important to note that the room does not have WiFi, which is very inconvenient. Second, we are four people, but the double bed is very small, maybe only 1.4 meters, and it is very crowded for two people.But the host is very nice, the room does not have a hair dryer, and he bought it for us immediately, and the location of the room is very close to the pig supermarket, 3 minutes walk, downstairs there is a restaurant, there are burgers, pizza, open until 23:00

We enjoyed our stay at Astrid’s place during our visit to Tórshavn. Astrid greeted us upon our arrival and provided an orientation to the apartment and provide information about things to see in the area. The apartment served our needs well. It is located relatively close to the harbor, restaurants and shops. The space and furnishings made it comfortable, especially during the days when the rain, wind and cold made staying inside our best option. The kitchen was well equipped, and we made use of it to prepare our breakfast each morning. We also appreciated that there is a stand-alone washer and dryer, rather than a combination unit. This made doing our laundry much quicker than at other places that we stayed during our stay in the Faroe Islands.

Good location to Tórshavn, easy and free parking in the lot connected to the building, has washer and dryer and very clean place.

The apartment is very clean and easy to find. It's located on a hill in Hoyvik and just 8 minutes drive to central Torshavn. A very good pizza place just next to the place. There are 2 bedrooms, spacious and clean. Very well equipped kitchen. It also got roll down blinds so it won't get too bright during the night as the sun doesn't set until 11pm during summer time. The only downside is the shower. While it has got hot water with good water pressure, sometimes it does turn cold for no reason for a few seconds, making it somewhat in consistent. But overall very good place to stay with good value of money given how pricey the hotels are in the Faroe Islands.

As a seasoned airbnber all over. I rate this high. Exceeded my expectations in comfort, (beds, living area and outside area). Cleanliness and spaciousness in all rooms. This one level home is extremely well appointed in design and supplies. Great walking to harbour, Best outdoor playground for children I have ever encountered. Felt completely safe walking at 1 am in the morning. Would choose again!

A wonderful place to spend your vacation in the Faroe Islands. We stayed in the cottage for 7 days, everything was as described, big plus for the washer and dryer. In addition, the location is perfect for exploring other islands, close to everything. We recommend and hope to be back in the future :)

100% recommended. Home was absolutely beautiful. Clean, well-stocked kitchen, matched description well. We loved our stay here and would definitely choose to stay here again. Host was incredibly proactive with sending out info and recommendations before our arrival, and there was a helpful info book at the house (love those!). Can't say if they were responsive to questions or not, because we didn't need to ask any! (I'm sure they would've been.)

The place was just as described, we felt right at home. We had everything we needed and more, from kitchen utensils to an outstanding record collection. There’s shops only a short distance away and easy access to other towns as well. The house was very suitable for a family with children with many games and toys around. The view speaks for itself. A true place to just relax and wind down. The most outstanding feature though was Eyðfríð herself. Sadly we didn’t meet her but her communication and helpfulness is unparalleled in our experience. She helped us out in a pinch when we had some travel issues and gave us many recommendations on the way.

Torgerd's house is very nice, we had a lovely stay there. It is comfortable, well appointed, well equipped. Ideal for family holidays with the common area on the ground floor and the 3 bedrooms upstairs. The location is ideal for exploring the city and shopping on foot, no need to take the car everything is nearby. We were able to retrieve the keys late without any issues, and communication with Torgerd was easy and responsive. So a very positive assessment and we recommend this house without hesitation for those who want to discover Torshavn and the Islands in general!

Great location, wonderful house full of space and confort.

Torben is a terrific host, making sure we were set up and letting us know to get groceries in advance because the peaceful island of Nolsoy is sparsely populated and things close early. He checked to be sure we were ok without being intrusive. Directions were spot on and check out couldn’t be easier. His liberal checkout schedule is even timed to the ferries departing Nolsoy. The cozy house is shore front with views across the strait of Torshavn and is steps to walks in the village and hikes on the north side of Nolsoy island. The kitchen is freshly renovated with overly ample amenities. Abundance of kitchenware, spices and extras.

This property is a true gem. Fantastic location overlooking the old fortress and the harbor. There is a short walking distance to the center of Torshavn, Tinganess and good restaurants. Everything was great, and we experienced Ketty as a very hospitable and welcoming host, who was always quick to respond to our inquiries during our stay.

We only have good things to say about this apartment. It's super cozy, spacious, very clean, private/quiet, and equipped with everything you need. Comfortable beds. Lovely roof terrace with a great view. Perfect location, close to the harbor, shops and restaurants. The photos in the listing completely match the reality. Beatrice gave great tips on what to explore in the Faroe Islands, restaurants, etc., and responded very quickly to questions. We had some wonderful days and are happy to return to the scenic Faroe Islands and this apartment again.

Excellent stay, the house was very cozy and tidy, we found everything very clean. It was very close to the center. We were going with a baby and Helgi helped us at all times by lending us a crib and high chair.

Perfect accommodation for a stay in the area, I recommend it! Thank you again for the fruit and cereal bar provided :) You have to plan ahead for the duration of the shower.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is very convenient. Only 5 miles to the city center. Plenty of parking spaces. The place is modern and clean. Julius is very responsive.

We loved staying at Benita’s place. Benita left us snacks and drinks upon arrival and was super responsive to any questions. The ocean view out the window was terrific, and the place was great to come back to after long days of walking, hiking, driving around the islands, etc. And it’s just a quick 5 minute drive into Torshavn, or a 20 minute walk. Everything was just as advertised!

We have spend a few days in a spacious and very well appointed appartment, with a tremendous view on the island of Nolsoy. The neighborhood is peaceful, while the downtown is quickly accessible by foot and bus. The owner is a reactive and nice person.

Osvald has been a very welcoming host, always available and kind. His flat was warm, clean, comfortable and easy to find, made us feel as at home. Washing and Drier machines availability has really been the most valuable facility of our stay
