Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Tórshavn

Lovely place where will make you feel like home. The house is clean and comfortable with the hot tub. Highly recommended for anyone who is coming to Faroe island

Vi har boet i huset i fem dage. Det var et rigtig fint hus. Hyggeligt indrettet. Meget gode senge. Det var et meget veludstyret køkken. Vi måtte bruge af krydderier, kaffe osv. Der var spil, bøger, blade og en stor kurv med futter og sokker 😃

We had the great pleasure to stay at Heini and his family’s home during Olai in July, and it suited perfect for us and our needs. Heini was very responsive and flexible with our stay, and were able to bring an extra baby nest so we could fit the whole family (6 adults and 5 children). The house was clean, spacious, really well-equipped and with a view of Tórshavn and Nólsoy to die for. We mostly walked downtown (downhill) and took the bus back, which stops just outside the house. All in all we had a great stay, and we truly recommend this place if you are a big family or group looking for a place to withdraw a bit from the city and relax with a great view - note that some of the beds are a bit smaller than queen size, but it works well if you have children along. Really enjoyed our stay!! We're a family with two young kids so it was really nice to have the extra space here and the washer/dryer. Easy parking and a short drive to the city center, the indoor pool, etc. Scenic views from the large dining/kitchen area. Christian was super responsive and gave us great advice ahead of time on beautiful places to visit during our stay!

Appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien en erg ruim. De ligging is zeer gunstig als je de Faeröer wil bezoeken. Dicht bij het gezellige centrum van Tórshavn. De host was fijn in de omgang en was erg flexibel met een late check-out (onze boot vertrok pas in de avond). Bed is aan de smalle kant voor twee personen, maar wel comfortabel!

Vi havde et skønt ophold i Gunnvás bolig. Vi følte os virkelig hjemme i de dejlige, kunstneriske omgivelser. Tórshavn centrum var desuden indenfor gåafstand. Vi kommer gerne igen!

Die Unterkunft bei Nancy und Karl Oddmar war ein absoluter Glücksgriff! Die Wohnung war liebevoll für uns vorbereitet (mit Hochstuhl, Babywanne und Badespielzeug für die Kinder), super sauber und ordentlich, gleichzeitig unglaublich gemütlich. Der Ausblick ist grandios, wir genossen jeden Abend die kleine Bucht und konnten dort Wale, Delfine und Robben beobachten. Aufgrund eines Autoschadens waren wir fast die ganze Zeit mit dem Bus unterwegs, was von der Unterkunft aus auch problemlos möglich war. Nancy und Karl Oddmar waren auch hier sofort hilfsbereit und unterstützen uns bei der Werkstattsuche. Ein besonderes Highlight waren für unseren größeren Sohn die Hühner, die er mehrmals am Tag besuchte, und all die anderen Tiere der Nachbarn.

I had a terrific stay in Elisabeth's apartment; it is really cosy and well arranged. I enjoyed the peaceful neighbourhood and slept like a baby. It's conveniently located close to a hidden gem: Viðarlundin park, which is great for a walk.

Stayed at this house for several nights, and it was exactly as described. Holger and Sylvia provided many brochures and suggestions regarding things to do in the area, and we're very quick to respond to messages. The house is spacious and was very clean.

Very well located, easy to reach by car, supermarkets and bakeries nearby. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and has a beautiful view over Torshàvn. Pernilla was very helpful: the Smyril ferry arrived in the middle of the night, and we could immediately get in and catch some sleep.

We stayed at this wonderful apartment in Tórshavn for 8 nights, and it was absolutely perfect. My husband and I had everything we needed – the house was clean, cozy, and beautifully equipped for a comfortable stay. It’s in a peaceful and quiet location, which made it a great place to relax after our daily adventures. The apartment was also an ideal base for exploring the Faroe Islands. We were able to visit all corners of the islands easily from here, and coming back to such a calm and welcoming space each evening was a real treat. The hosts were a lovely family – warm, helpful, and respectful of our privacy. We truly felt at home and would highly recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to the Faroes. We would definitely love to return!

Excelente estancia, la casa era muy acogedora y ordenada, lo encontramos todo muy limpio. Estaba muy cerca del centro. Íbamos con bebé y Helgi nos ayudó en todo momento prestándonos una cuna y una trona.

Schöne Wohnung mit toller Lage

If this are looking for a place to stay within walking distance to all the best of Torshavn and yet far enough outside the main areas where driving is stressful, look no further! The flat was spacious, clean, and felt like home for our family of 4. We loved the view (and the sheep) from the window and the cozy feel of the flat. I was pleasantly surprised to discover the beds in the primary room have position control so you can set the sleeping position of your choice. The area is very quiet yet close to restaurants and a grocery store. We especially appreciated access to the washer and dryer. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook meals and make morning coffee. My kids appreciated the roasted nuts and snacks, which were a nice touch but the host. The hosts were very responsive and quickly helped me gain entry after my husband accidentally took the key hiking!

Andreas est un hôte très agréable et très accueillant. De nombreuses informations sont fournies. Le logement est extraordinaire, méticuleusement propre, avec une magnifique décoration moderne et haut de gamme. Les photos sont conformes à la réalité. La vue est magique, à couper le souffle et le calme règne autour. Ce fut un très joli séjour, merci !

Besides the name of the location building AOr B would be helpful- when it says located on first floor- I would think that is ground level, but it was not- so difficult to find and had to call. More descriptive in location. Place was great and clean- just what was needed.

Solva was a great host! Place was absolutely perfect for us and we could walk to everything in town. Solva was very helpful with recommendations and tips for things to do. We got to see a B36 game and that was definitely a highlight. Thank you Solva for a great stay! would definitely come back here.

We stayed in Torshavn for a week and the apartment was amazing - we couldn’t have asked for better. All rooms were comfortable and equipped with everything needed. The living areas had amazing views of the harbour and beyond. Helgi was very helpful if we asked her anything whilst we were staying there. It was very easy to find, and instructions were clear, so we didn’t need to ask many questions. It’s very walkable to the harbour, and if you want to go further afield, there is a No.1 bus which leaves from across the road at the back of the house. The bus stop is directly opposite. The local buses are all free - something the bus driver found hilarious when we tried to pay for a journey! We got a ferry/bus pass which can transport you around all of the different islands for either 4 or 7 days. Very good value. We didn’t hire a car but if I came back to the Faroe Islands, I would definitely hire one to get to the remote areas. We all had an amazing time here and would happily return.

The apartment is brand new and in a great location. I drove but was able to park my car at the property and easily walk anywhere in town that I wanted to. It was also a great base for exploring other parts of the Faroe Islands, and I didn't have to drive far to reach amazing places like Saksun or Tjørnuvík. The apartment is really nice, and the views over the town and Nólsoy Island are surreal. It has a well-designed layout and a fully equipped kitchen with all the amenities I needed for my stay. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience. The combination of comfort, stunning views, and convenience made my trip truly unforgettable. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking to explore the Faroe Islands.
