Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Torfaen Principal Area

What an amazing place! The description and pics were spot on. Davina is the best of the best at hosting, nothing was too much trouble for her including arranging a late check out for myself and my wife even at late notice. We didn't want to leave. we stayed at 'Sheiling' for 2 nights for my partners birthday and we were not disappointed!, this property is immaculate & very peaceful, the facilities at Sheiling are second to none, everything you could need for your stay is provided, even a bottle of prosecco 2 bottles of beer & milk were left for us which was greatly appreciated. There was excellent communication between us & Jane the host. We had such a relaxing time especially in the hot tub and our first night we were visited by a fox in the garden when we were in the hot tub which was a wonderful treat! we will definately be back!

beautiful cottage in a peaceful location, we loved every second and didn't want to leave, surrounded by wildlife and the wonderful canal it was perfect, lovely welcome pack with gorgous home made flapjacks, Sarah was a great and helpful host, we can't wait to go back

The place was exactly as described, hot tub very clean and sizeable, house was very clean. Jay was extremely responsive, and even let us have a late checkout at very short notice which was very kind

what a lovely place👌 nice and quite and very historic. to many parking space,very clean,the kitchen was full of staff and you could fine what ever you need for cooking. it was 3tv in total. We really enjoyed our time. Massive thanks to Clair🙏

Myself and 6 girlfriends booked a long weekend away to celebrate a forthcoming marriage and this house was absolutely perfect. The house was ideal with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and everything we needed was in the kitchen. The views from the house are stunning and everyone was extremely happy with my choice of venue and the added bonus of having a hot tub in the garden. It was easy to get a bus into Crickhowell or Abergavenny (both lovely shopping areas with independent shops) and plenty of hostelries for the occasional wine or 2🍷. I would definitely recommend this property especially for those with a family as there is a game room with plenty of things to do in there.

We stayed here as a group of friends for a weekend in Cardiff. We loved the house as it worked great for our group. We could all have our own room, lots of different places to sit and socialise and the garden is beautiful. We loved sitting in the garden from early morning coffee, to a sunset drink and time in the hot tub to relax. Would highly recommend!

Such a lovely stay at Lakeside Lodge, the surroundings were beautiful and our host Andrew went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. Stunning lake one side of the lodge and stunning views of the hilly countryside the other (both visible from the view in the hot tub) really could not have asked for anything more for a chilled girls trip. Could have stayed there forever!

We had a fabulous stay at Deerview Lodge. In a stunning countryside location with views over the fields. It is peaceful, the hot tub is lovely. A very comfortable, well maintained and spotless property. The owner is friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A stunning property with a fantastic host. The property was spacious and clean with added touches such as pool towels and yoga mats. Everything was to a high standard and a wonderful place to relax and unwind

Just spent a lovely week at Jan's in a party of 13. Beautiful house and gardens in a very peaceful location. Garden was huge and had wonderful views of the lake. House was equipped with everything you need, even down to shampoo and extra bath sheets for the jacuzzi! Will definately be visiting again. Thank you Jan.

Our stay here was beautiful!! The area is so pretty and peaceful. Lots of walks and trails and the town is not too far away. The town is also lovely with lots of great shops and cafes to mooch around. The lodge itself was welcoming, bright and smelt lovely upon arrival! Very clean and spacious. Beth was very helpful and gave lots of recommendations on the local area as well as making sure we had everything we needed.

Had fantastic stay at the lodge, which is very much on the lake! We enjoyed amazing views both during the day, and at night watching the stars. We had a lovely day out at Cefn Mably farm, very short walk from the lodge. A great Birthday weekend!

A brilliant stay with the best of both worlds as an extremely peaceful lodge but close to central Cardiff for days out. The lodge was really clean and well stocked and the hot tub was excellent! The perfect holiday!

Probably one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. Complete seclusion in a beautiful setting. Perfect for us and our two dogs. Will definitely go back.

Me and my girlfriend loved our stay in daisy lodge. Such a lovely place to stay feeling right at home. Not far from Abergavenny town which has a lovely high street. The lodge was as seen in the photos and even though we knew Claire and Justin were there when we needed, it was perfect and didn’t need any help. Highly recommend. Thanks guys!

Great place for a quiet retreat. Peaceful, lakeside cabin with a lovely hot tub. We stayed in the Grebe lodge which you can’t fish from. There are others that you can fish from if that’s what you’re after. Reception has a shop that sells all your basic needs such as tea, coffee, sugar, chocolate and beers. I would recommend if you’re arriving after hours that you bring your own tea / coffee and milk as there are none in the cabins themselves. Would recommend a stay here and we will stay here again. A really relaxing weekend in the countryside wishing earshot of Cardiff.

Lovely short stay at the Pochard lodge. Greeted by wonderful Bob who was helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel at home! :) Lodge was beautiful and hot tub and bathroom were in pristine condition- well maintained. Owen was responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend this lodge for a peaceful short break away!

Just WOW! Victoria’s treehouse in the woods was peaceful perfection. Everything was immaculate. Victoria was a great host, super friendly and welcoming. The treehouse itself was everything we could have wanted and more. The wood fired hot tub was fantastic. Everything had been carefully thought out and provided. All the little extras just added that piece of luxury. And the golf buggy down to the cabin was super fun. We’ll definitely be back!
