Deborah's place is nicely renovated. Very clean with all the amenities you will need in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. The view of the ferry, the Harbour, the bay and Bell Island is spectacular. Quaint and quiet. I would definitely reccommend her place for a relaxing stay. Thank you Deborah. Ron and Lisa, Niagara Falls, On.

Mike was a great host, very friendly and accommodating. The house is lovely, well cared for and very relaxing. The backyard especially has a great view of the city. Location is great, situated on a quiet street but still close to everything.

If you are searching for a place to stay in the St. John's area, search no further. This place located 10 minutes from the city centre of SJ is an awesome location to call a home base. Carol and I and her brother Ben and his wife Teresa spent a week in August of 2022. We have rental properties in Old Quebec City and have been in tourism B.A. (Before Airbnb) so, we know a thing or two about what clients want and need in a tourist rental home. Suzanne has provided everything you will need to spend a great vacation. The house is loaded with everything you will need to cook and eat in. The beds were comfortable and the two full bathrooms upstairs was a bonus. The half bathroom downstairs was a bonus. The view of the bay is splendid and we enjoyed sitting on the hill in the backyard looking out at the peaceful sights in front of us. The Torbay bakery is located about 300m from the house to the south, and the lovely cafe about the same distance or less to the north. The grocery, pharmacy and convenience stores are but a 3-5 min. drive. The communication with Suzanne was very prompt and professional. She provide a tonne of info. and then answered a few of my questions about some things I needed for our trip. All in all..... if you are two couples or a larger family and your other option is to rent two hotel rooms.... you're nuts..... if you pass this place up. Thanks Suzanne for making our stay in Torbay/St. John's a special time.

This is the third time we’ve stayed at Steven’s house (2 weeks in 2022, a week in 2023 and recently for another week in June 2025). As always, the house was very clean, well appointed and as pictured. Having stayed here three times in four years, we can add that the rental is well maintained and a relaxing spot to stay. Steven is still a great, friendly host. We will certainly be back for a fourth stay!

I stayed here for 3 nights and had a very pleasant experience. The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a short stay. The check-in process was smooth, and communication with the host was prompt and helpful throughout. The location was convenient, with easy access to local shops, restaurants, and transit. I appreciated the quiet neighbourhood, which made it easy to relax after long days. Would happily stay again and recommend this property to anyone visiting the area!
