Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Tohmajärvi

We stayed here for a night while travelling for business. The place is superb, very clean, a high quality home. Check-in was so convenient, the place was closely located to the city (by car) and plenty of space ensured we all had our privacy. Warm recommendation!

Wer etwas Ruhiges sucht, der wird hier gut aufgehoben sein!

the place is simple but very nice and clean. one can hear the street nearby so it is not the most remote and quite place but since the traffic was pretty low (even in peak holiday season) it was a great stay and I can only recommend it!

This cottage is big and very suitable for our extended family vacation.

Erholung pur, ruhiger Ort, aber auch für remote arbeiten geeignet. Gastgeber Jari und seine Frau sind super freundlich und nett und bemühen sich, dass Du einen schönen Urlaub hast. Im Unterkunft ist alles was man braucht vorhanden, gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind im Radius von circa 10km vorhanden. Der See lädt zum baden ein und die Sonnenuntergänge sind atemberaubend. The house is warm and cozy — simple in the best Finnish way, with a sense of care behind everything. Jälleen kerran majoituimme perheen kanssa Asuntoon. tämä on varma 1 valinta aina kun vierailemme Joensuussa. Asunto on aina viimeisen päälle ja kaikki tarvittava ja enemmänkin löytyy kohteista. Suosittelen jälleen lämpimästi!

Had a wonderful stay here with my daughter - who appreciated the great wifi. :) Easy to find and check in. Anna-Liina gave some great tips for local places to eat and see. Highly recommended.

Todella viihtyisä kohde kauniilla ja rauhallisella sijainnilla. Alle tunti Kolille ja vartti Joensuuhun. Upea sauna.

Tuttu paikka, käyty useamman kerran. Joka kerta majoittuminen sujunut oikein hyvin.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. 10 Tage im Oktober und das Häuschen war sauber, gemütlich und warm (Kaminofen). Wir haben Joensuu kennengelernt und die Region Karelien erwandert. Wir würden das Häuschen wieder mieten, wenn wir noch einmal nach Joensuu kämen. Wir hatten sehr netten Kontakt zu Leo.

Abbiamo fatto un tour on the road della Finlandia, e questa per noi è stata la casa più bella del viaggio. Per chi cerca relax immerso nella natura è la casa ideale. Abbiamo utilizzato tutti i servizi offerti (sauna, piscina riscaldata, barca...) e tutto è andato benissimo. Ottima comunicazione con Marjatta sempre pronta a risolvere qualsiasi nostra richiesta. La casa è molto grande e ben arredata. Calda e accogliente. Ci ritornerei molto volentieri.

It was a great place with a peaceful surrounding to enjoy vacations. The place was easy to find and had everything needed for a good time. There was a boat available but we could not use that because of bad weather. I would definitely recommend this place.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in fantastischer Lage, absolut ruhig direkt am See gelegen! Problemloser und sehr freundlicher Check-in (trotz später Anreise um 21 Uhr) mit persönlichem Empfang durch den Vater des Gastgebers. Es war alles vorhanden was für einen gemütlichen und erholsamen Urlaub am See nötig ist (Ruderboot und SUP, Outdoor-Kitchen, Terasse, Sauna, Hot-Pot, etc.). Auch das WLAN funktioniert einwandfrei. Wir haben 12 wunderbare Urlaubstage verbracht und können die Unterkunft und den Gastgeber uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

This is an amazing cottage in beautiful surroundings. The house was well-equipped and exactly as described. The hosts were very flexible and accomodating.

I went here with 10 friends for midsommar! it was really peaceful and beautiful.

This is a fabulous lakeside cottage. It has everything you could wish for: A peaceful, secluded location deep in the forest right on the lake.. We enjoyed fishing off the jetty, rowing the boat, kayaking and swimming in the beautiful clear water. The covered BBQ was great as you can also eat outside. The sauna cabin was perfect for midnight sauna and swims.

Artur was really helpful , was very supportive from the start , the cottage was really nice , and will loved to come back.

Olimme oikein tyytyväisiä, kaikki oli kohdillaan. Puusauna oli erityisesti mieleen ja isäntäväki erittäin ystävällisiä 😊
