Cabin at the foot of the tub mountains

Located at the foot of the Parâng mountains and near the Șureanu mountains, it is the perfect place for those eager to relax close to nature. And yes, it's completely made of wood. Did I also say that it is 30 min away from Transalpina, the highest road in Romania? Or that it's 10 minutes away from the first chairlift that takes you to the Parang resort? Who knows, maybe after a whole day of skiing you want to enjoy the tranquility offered by the tub*. *For the tub (en: hot tube) an extra fee is charged.

Alexandra’s place is a lovely place to stay. It can be confusing to find. To clarify, pass the Pension Ayana and take a right before the green garbage cage. Then take the first left onto a gravel road. The parking space to the left of the shed. Alexandra will give you the code to offer access. We loved Alexandra’s recommendation of hikes (lacul mia) and restaurant conacul radacinilor (lovely) Pension Ayana was ok: the pizza was terrible but the wiener schnitzel was good. I was interested in other things to eat but it would take the chef an hour to make. As it was, there was a 40 minute wait. The triangle house was clean, charming and well designed. It has a fire pit, barbecue and a jacuzzi. It was lovely and deserves its 5 stars. Thank you Alexandra!

Andreea's place is truly a gem. Well furnished, fully equipped kitchen, great outdoor veranda, extremely clean and quiet. Real easy communication too! Highly recommended, and we hope to be back someday!
