Lovely house in a private corner of the village. If it weren't for cars that pass by occasionally, the trees surrounding the yard would make you feel like you are in a secluded area of the woods, not the village. We loved the spacious ground floor of the house with the high ceiling and attractive fireplace. Spent the most time in the garden playing with kids and BBQ-ing. The host was super fast to react and send a local to prepare the firewood for us, as the axe left on the property was not sharp enough (at least for our handling skills). Walking distance to the lake and the nearest local market. I would recommend it.

If you travel to Arad, Romania, you MUST stay here! The level of excellence, cleanliness and service offered by Harry & Vio is beyond compare! Our home included 2 bedrooms, a wonderfully stocked kitchen, a spacious living room, ample towels & linens, never ending hot water, A/C, all in a ‘corner clean’ atmosphere that made us feel ‘at home’ each time we walked in the door. The property was well lit and secure-we always felt safe. Area shopping and restaurants were all within walking distance. But the best part was the level of responsiveness and service from Vio! We stayed here for almost a month, and every question or concern was immediately responded to quickly and with a smile! Our expectations on every level were exceeded, and when we return to Romania, THIS is where we will stay!!
